Discussion Naruto saying this despite having an emotional moment with Hinata after Neji died is confusing.

Naruto isn’t stupid he knows Sakura loves Sasuke. Seems stupid and counterproductive to do.

Naruto could’ve easily just said “Sakura-Chan isn’t my girlfriend, but she’s a close friend.”

Misc No Homo But Neji Is Actually One of the Prettiest Characters in Naruto

Post image

Everyone always talks about how Sasuke is so handsome but why is no one else talking about how beautiful Neji looks? looks very attractive with his long dark hair and his angelic eyes.
I feel like he has one of the best character designs from the Naruto series and I am amazed at how little he gets mentioned as an attractive male character in Naruto. Maybe it’s just me but Neji definitely is underestimated as far as his beauty goes.

Discussion Sasuke's whole character is completely ignored by the fandom when it comes to this ship

I hear alot of people saying that he never loved her because of the lack of expressions he shows (and only married her for the plot)—but, is that really true?

A good example i like using is his relationship with naruto. We all know he sees him as one of his best friends, but we also frequently see him fighting him, arguing with him and pushing hin away. But in those scenes, we knew he was blinded by rage and revenge. We all knew he was felt alone inside and longed for a friendship. And we all understood him in these scenes.

But when it comes to sakura, suddenly its different. Suddenly, people say his emotions there are 100% real and he "genuinely disliked her" Truth is, he is bad with showing emotions, and he loves sakura as much as naruto.

If you focus on his face expressions, especially in the manga, you can see the chemistry and the feelings he is trying to hide. Compare that to whenever ino was trying to flirt with him, and you'll see true uninterested feelings.

Alot of people try mentioning the fact that he tried to kill her, but he tried killing naruto—his bestfriend—aswell. So why is this different? Also, the time where he tried to "kill sakura" was way less violent than the time he did with naruto. He also wasnt actively hunting for her the same way he did naruto.

Even the scene where he put sakura under a genjutsu to make it look like he hurt her, you can see his ankles shaking and hesitating before doing it in the manga panel. And he only did it so she wouldnt stop the fight between him and naruto and she wouldn't have to see 2 people she loved fight.

So why do people overlook his character when it comes to this relationship? My conclusion is that the fadom either think all relationships are supposed to be lovey dovey all the way through and dont understand the concept of other tropes, or they are purposely doing this because they already hate sakura.

What do you think about this ship?

Manga Volume 1 review as someone who doesn’t know anything about the series aside from the memes.

The reason I got into Naruto is because of my friends suggested that I should read the manga and being a jjk and mha fan and slowly becoming a Kagurabachi fan, Ik that one of the biggest inspirations for those 3 series was Naruto and so I bought myself the first 3 volumes of the manga (via 3-1), I just finished vol 1 and all I gotta say is holy shit,

I LOVED EVERY BIT OF THIS VOLUME!!!!!!!

Everything about the first volume was pitch perfect, nothing felt boring and enjoyed every second of it.

There are so many things I enjoyed, for example, I like how it slows down to bring in the world building and such like in the first chapter you get introduced to Naruto and who he is, chapter 2 continues to flesh out Naruto showing his more serious side when it comes to being Hokage, chapter 3 introduces Sasuke and Sakura and we are shown the team dynamic, Chapter 4, we get introduced to Kakashi and Chapters 5 - 7 is a showcase that the team aren’t rlly the best when it comes to working to together as they don’t form a plan, they attack separately like ur switching characters in a fighting game after one is taken down and also gives us a glimpse of the power system.

Another thing I rlly like is the fights and how fluid it is, it’s very easy to follow and i can tell he got that from Akira, if you’ve read Akira, you would know that the action in the manga is some of the most fluid you will ever see, and Kishimoto took notes from that and it works so well.

I like Sasuke cause he’s like the godfather of the edgy protagonist in anime, I easily relate to Naruto, although I’m not the most mischievous person out there, I’m actually kind of calm headed I do relate to him wanting to achieve a higher status so that people can see him, I also rlly like how Naruto and Iruka have the childhood in a way, I feel like in a way, it makes the dynamic between the 2 so much more better I don’t think Naruto would have been kind and serious in a way without Iruka and that’s something I rlly like. Also the art is amazing, when I saw that shot of Konohagakure Village in the first page of Chapter 1 I was blown away with the amount of detail there is.

Overall I was very entertained with this volume, I was bamboozled with every little twist and turn and overall it was a very good start to an iconic series so I’ll give it a

10/10

I can’t wait to read the second volume tmrrw.

think these types of scenes are really underrated in terms of kishimotos strengths as an emotive writer. obviously people like them, but that speaks to just how good i think he is at this kind of scene and how beautiful i find these panels to be.

Discussion Hiruzen slander must stop, it’s unfair these other 3 are slander free

Naruto had a rough upbringing and Hiruzen gets the entire burden for this. It’s not fair. Hiruzen served the leaf for many decades and was hoping to retire already.

Meanwhile Jiraya, the god father of Naruto, who was named after a character in his book only showed up when Naruto was like 12? But he would spend 3 years with 3 random rain village kids? Fuck off. Thank you Pain for skewering him.

And now let’s move on to Minato…bro did NOT need to die and did NOT need to seal nine tails(he will need this power to beat mask man??? STFU you already marked him and owned him go fuck his shit up and get the job done go with backup if you need to). Bro basically committed suicide because his girl died and then seals the nine tails knowing people fucking hate this thing and how past jinchurikis have been treated. And then places the burden on hiruzen who is well aware how jinchurikis are treated and how he can get weaponized.

And before you go on about well hiruzen should’ve adopted him , like okay Naruto doesn’t even see his own children , premise of the Boruto movie written by kishimoto himself , so Naruto himself doesn’t even make time for his own family doesn’t mean he doesn’t love them it’s just a demanding job.

TLDR Hiruzen was already retired and was forced back to hokage and a newborn with a nuke inside it while perverted deadbeat godfather and emo biological father should’ve been there.

Question Hey, now that I think about it, Hashirama is potentially the most intelligent human being in the entire world, right?

Post image
• Upvotes

In other words, Hashirama is the only person in the entire world whose brain is composed 100% of Hashirama’s cells, and we know that those cells can be used for practically anything, essentially, those cells boost the user's stats by a factor of 50 or more; logically, the brain should also get a boost, right?

this should mean that Hashirama is not only incredibly strong (which he is), but also potentially the most intelligent person to have ever lived, right? I mean, a brain that’s constantly regenerating, bolstered by millions of extra neurons, and all that sort of thing... And yet, guys like Shikamaru, Tobirama, or Orochimaru seem to be much more intelligent than he is. It’s truly curious how those cells work, honestly.

Question Is this the only time we see one handed hand signs?

Post image
24 Upvotes

I’m doing my first rewatch of OG Naruto in like twenty years, and in the fight against Haku he busts out the ability to do entire sequences of signs one handed. When Kakashi sees that he’s super surprised and says he’s never seen it before, and I honestly don’t remember if we EVER see anyone do that from this point onward.

Discussion What if scenario for Konan📝

Post image
36 Upvotes

What if Konan had survived her fight against Obito and participated in the Fourth Great Ninja War? This would have given her the opportunity to prove her worth and demonstrate her determination to protect the world. She could have played a major role in confronting Obito, the man who manipulated the Akatsuki and contributed to the destruction of the ideals she once shared with Yahiko and Nagato. By fighting against him, Konan would have taken an important step toward redemption and correcting the mistakes of her past.

Furthermore, Konan could eventually have become the leader of the Hidden Rain Village, with Naruto helping her rebuild Amegakure and fulfill the promise he made to Nagato. Together, they could have given the village a new future, allowing it to join the Allied Shinobi system and stand alongside the other nations rather than remain a victim of their conflicts. Konan could then become the first Amekage in history, representing her village alongside the other Kage and working toward lasting peace throughout the shinobi world.

Her design could also reflect this transformation. Rather than abandoning the Akatsuki cloak, Konan could continue wearing it with a white cloud emblem instead of the traditional red one, symbolizing the organization's original dream of peace and the new era she represents. The white would complement her paper-based abilities, her paper wings, and her calm, almost angelic presence. Her cloak would serve as a reminder of her past while symbolizing how she reclaimed the Akatsuki's original ideals and transformed them into something positive.

Ultimately, Konan could become a symbol of redemption, peace, and renewal, a former member of the Akatsuki who rises above her past to protect the world and lead her village toward a brighter future. As the first Amekage in history, she would embody a major turning point in the shinobi world, marking the beginning of a new era and a beautiful start of a new life for the Hidden Rain Village

Discussion The emotional weight of this scene

When shikamaru is talking to his dad while they play that board game and how shikamaru breaks down and his dad says it’s okay to cry and that he will be there for him. I’m at work tearing up watching the scene. God help me be a father like Shikaku.
