Our defensemen dropping like flies 😭

Bought a Tom Wilson shirt from Fanatics and it has the captain C on the front. Why would they sell it that way while he's still Alternate? Did they send me a wrong shirt? Are they getting the jump up on next year when Ovi is gone? Help!

Fanatics Fail

Father and I were going to the game, Section 214 Row B. Great seats! Can't go anymore.

Looking to cut Ticktm@str out of the resale at a little discount for both of us. Who's looking??

Hi Caps fans!

I’m getting married in November and wanted to surprise my fiancé with tickets to see the Capitals as his wedding gift. He’s a huge lifelong Caps fan, and Ovechkin is his favorite player of all time.
With Ovi announcing his retirement, I thought getting tickets to the April 4 game against the Penguins would be an incredibly special, once-in-a-lifetime experience for him.

Here’s my dilemma: the cheapest tickets I’m finding are around $800 per person, meaning I’d be spending at least $1,600 for the two of us, and that’s before fees!

I asked his brother for advice, and he said this game is basically the “holy grail of all tickets” for him, but also thinks my fiancé would probably consider the price tag too outrageous to justify.
So I’m torn. I want to give him something really meaningful that he’ll remember forever, especially since this is a wedding gift. But I also don’t want to spend an absurd amount if we’d have an equally amazing experience at another game this season.

For longtime Caps/Ovi fans:
-Would you consider this particular game worth the premium?
-Would you rather attend this game in the cheapest seats or get great seats to another game during Ovi’s final season?

I’d really appreciate your honest opinions. I don’t know nearly as much about hockey as he does, so I want to make sure I’m making the right decision!

Thank you!

This checks out. Our corsi is also really low, we're a high danger shot team that doesn't shoot a ton and the defense has been horrendous.

I think the defensive issues have been more lapses than an error in the defensive system itself, which means its probably fixable and more flukey.

I'm fine with the offensive system, I like prioritizing high danger shots, we should probably shoot more but whatever thats not who we are.

The special teams are an issue and we really need a certain guy off the ice during the PP.

We're gonna be fine i think

I feel like these stats starting showing up at the same time Joe started spoiling every other game going on at the same time, so if you wanted to watch them afterwards, too bad, which drives me insane.

Home Town Remix incoming!

Big Pro is a gentle giant, and not in a good way. Guy is so tall, but hardly aggressive. Thoughts?

From a page I follow. ❤️

Anybody else feel the Caps have been playing soft so far..?

Playing against the Kings and Slapshot is just chillin out completely unbothered

Arena Bar and Eats ceiling is funky 🤪

I've done this a bunch of times and its always been a hit so Caps fans if you want to

Make an offer either DM or reply to this post with the amount you are willing to donate. The highest donor gets the tickets. I think face value on each ticket is roughly 270$ but that doesn't matter! Highest offer gets the tickets. whether its $5 or $500. But be generous please.

Plus your donation is tax deductible! So you really can't beat that.

My charity is www.parsplace.org.

Good Luck!
