It was the only one in Supersonic Red I could find right at my price point. I guess that makes me officially a member. Viewer discretion is advised.

Hi all, this is my first car ever and I'm loving it. 2026 Camry LE AWD, 3,700 miles, all around Toledo, OH (mostly city and short trips, typical trip [12-15 miles], fall temps, no road trips yet). I fill up with Costco regular.
My lifetime average is 43-44 mpg, and some short trips show 50+, up to 57. EPA says 50 combined for the LE AWD, and I've seen people here posting 60-70.
Questions:
- What's your actual lifetime or tank-by-tank average, and is it FWD or AWD?
- Mostly short trips, or mixed with highway?
- How much did winter hurt your mpg?
- Did your mpg change after the first few thousand miles, or is that a myth?
- Normal or Eco mode? Any habits that made a real difference?
- Anyone in Ohio/Michigan regularly hitting 50+ in an LE AWD?
Trying to figure out if 43-44 is normal for my kind of driving or if I should check something. Thanks!

Suggest me some styling ideas. Preferably, with links to the products. The inside is fully stock, except for floor matts.

I’ll admit I’m not the best with cars. My knowledge is very limited, and I’ve tried to learn more but everything I read ends up not making sense to me. I bought my 2005 Camry (2.4L, LE) in August of 2024. It had 6 owners before me and only minor accidents, routine maintenance, etc. Basically it was in very good shape for being as old as it is. I didn’t have any issues until around October of that year when I suddenly got an orange check engine light on my dash. I took it in, had everything looked at, and all my mechanic could tell me was I needed new rotors and brake pads, and I had a power steering leak. I got the new pads and rotors but still haven’t addressed the power steering (mainly because he quoted me 2,000 for the fix, and I bought the car for 7,000…just not an option for me financially). He couldn’t give me an answer for the thing I brought the car in for. Ever since then I’ve taken it in numerous times to different people, and no one can give me a reason why my light is stuck on. Every time I clear it, it comes back. Always the same code. I feel like I’ve done everything I can think of. I was due for a smog check this year and couldn’t pass because of my light. I need to get this fixed and I feel very stuck.
Can someone explain what this code means and different ways to fix it? Explain in dumbass terms cause I don’t understand car stuff very much. I’m very good about routine maintenance and I’ve only had one major problem (alternator died). I just want this fixed so my mileage is better and I can pass my smog check. I’m averaging 300-400 miles per tank. If I’m lucky I get around 430-450. In this economy I’m being stretched very thin with how bad my mileage is.

Just wanted to give some hope and data for those of you looking to buy… Over the past 2 months I’ve done my research, followed these threads, and personally made 30+ calls to dealers around a multi-state area on the East Coast trying to lockdown a killer deal on a new or CPO 2025-26 Camry XLE/XSE AWD. As of this morning, my attempts were futile. No dice.
Some dealerships wouldn’t budge from their online prices, while others knocked off 3-6% and scoffed at me for asking for more. And there were even those who’d go as high as 7-9% off but then lowball me on a trade after the fact. The grind was real. I was discouraged (and not in a position to drive to TX where all the deals seem to be 😂)… But then there was today.
Today, I was in the right place at the right time. I walked in not expecting anything. I was there to look, not buy. I told the sales guy i knew my stuff and didn’t want to play games. This is what i want, this is why i want it, and this is the price I will do it at. The numbers and list i gave were aggressive, yet realistic if they were motivated. Fast forward a few hours and boom, I landed an incredible deal (14% off TSRP) on a new 2027 Camry XLE AWD, heavy metal, with the premium option + other options + a fair, thousands above KBB trade price (which was agreed upon AFTER we locked down the new car price)! TSRP was $43,500 and I walked away snagging the car for less than $37,800.
To all those deal hunting right now, stay strong! Know your stuff, do your research, and go in ready to negotiate. The manager informed me that he was selling for thousands below invoice because it’s the end of the month/year and Toyota will allocate more cars to him next year if he can exceed a certain number of cars sold by end of year.
Strike while the irons hot, folks. Good luck!

Thankfully from what it seems the damage is only cosmetic. I was going to attach aftermarket brake lights the day before but luckily the package got delayed.

2007 Camry with 39k miles. For the first time that I’m aware of, very small traces of water are coming from underneath where the front door speakers are into the door pocket but just in the first part. The door isn’t full of water so I’m not sure about the drains being clogged. Happening on both front doors. Any suggestions?

First car, first Camry, and I love bass. My stock EQ is at Bass 9, Treble around 6, Mids low, and it sounds strained at higher volume.
Plan: keep the factory radio and speakers for now and add an all-in-one powered sub (amp built in) so I can unplug it and pull it out when I need trunk space, and move it to my next car. I can give up some trunk space or use the spare-tire well.
Shortlist: Rockford P300-10T (trunk), JBL BassPro Hub (spare tire hub), Kicker HS10 (under seat), plus a shallow 12" if it's worth the space.
Questions for anyone with a 2025/2026 non-JBL Camry:
Which brand/model would you buy again, and why? (Rockford, Kicker, JL, JBL, other)
Trunk box vs under-seat vs spare-tire well: which worked best for you, and how much output did you lose with under-seat?
Any downsides to an all-in-one with a built-in amp vs a separate amp + box?
How did you get the signal (speaker-level input / T-harness vs a line-out converter)? Any bass roll-off at higher volume or odd factory behavior?
Does the BassPro Hub fit the Camry's temporary spare, and does the trunk floor sit flush?
Any rattles or electrical issues on the hybrid, and what did the full install cost?
I'm getting a Best Buy quote soon, but I want to hear what real owners did. Thanks!

TLDR: does this seem legit/reasonable?
This is part of a longer saga where I took in my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid in for an oil change. No warning lights or check engine lights on or anything. No drivability issues.
I took it to a local mechanic for the oil change. They said the coolant reservoir was empty. So I authorized a system test. They recommended new water pump and thermostat. I approved. Then they say the rear 12V battery is giving them issues. I approve replacing that. Then they say issues with the auxiliary water pump. I approve that. They call and say the steering wheel is locking up, and they need to research it.
I tell them to stop and I get it towed to the dealer. Dealer says hybrid inverter assembly has failed. They’re quoting me closer to $10k to fix it. Is this legit? People think I’m being scammed but this seems like a bald-faced scam.
Also could the first mechanic have caused all this by fucking up? Or did I just have really bad luck?

I just got my car (2024 Toyota Camry) a month ago and I’ve been loving it. I don’t know when this happened but I noticed it coming out of the gas station that my bumper at the rear of my car is slightly misaligned. I try to be an extremely careful driver and I have a dash camera and everything. Unfortunately it doesn’t turn on when the car is off, but there is zero damage around this and I don’t know if someone hit me last night when I was parked at my girlfriends or it happened when I was driving and I hit a decent sized pothole. Could anyone help me out figure out what could’ve caused it and how much it is to usually fix this. I’m very pissed off about this cause I just got the damn car.
I live in houston, all the dealers tell me the cheapeast otd price is about 31.5K

Decided to start doing most of my basic repair needs at home. Does anybody have a good recommendation for a floor Jack? I’m thinking about just buying in store, but I don’t want to spend any more than I need to. I’m in mid eastern USA

I’m planning to buy a used IKEA MALM bed frame and pick it up in my Toyota Camry. The bed will be disassembled.
Has anyone tried fitting a disassembled MALM bed frame in a Camry or a similar-size sedan? Would it fit with the back seats folded down, or would I need a bigger vehicle?
