Desktop Web Desktop web - Message moderators: Send disabled until a leading slash is added to recipient

• Upvotes

On desktop Reddit, I clicked “Message moderators” in r/reolinkcam.

The form automatically filled the recipient as r/reolinkcam. After entering a title and message, Send remained disabled, with no explanation.

Changing the recipient to r/reolinkcam enabled Send.

Expected behaviour: The recipient supplied by Reddit’s own link should work without manual correction. If an address is invalid, the form should explain why.

Also, the recipient label looks as though I’m addressing the whole subreddit. Is it possible to display “Moderators of r/reolinkcam” to clarify who receives the message?

Browser: Firefox 158.0.1
Operating system/version: Win11

iOS IOS - Ghost saved posts error / Database sync issue

Hello, I have deleted/ghost posts in my saved list on the mobile app. When I try to unsave them, I get a 'please try again later' error. I checked reddit.com desktop version, and those posts do not even appear there, so I cannot unsave them manually. It seems like a database synchronization issue on my account. Could you please run a database resync or something else to solve this issue for my saved list? Thank you

Android Why is my Android Reddit ui different?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I recently noticed that my Ui is different. I don't have any plus or minus to hide or show the comments or sub comments. Moreover, the lines at the left do not show any tracking. So how will I know who is replying to whose comment. Is there any solution for this and is this happening with everyone who uses the reddit app or just me?

Android [Android] Even after i turn off blur nsfw content and show that i am 18+ I get a warning pop up every time i try to go into an nsfw subreddit-2026.42.0 NSFW

It seems like this is only an android issue that has been around forever and its sad to see that this app has no support on fixing issues, i am 18+ and I enjoy that type of content so after proofing that I am of age to consume said material I should not get a warning every time its so annoying and I look back at this every couple if months to see if there has been a fix. Please I just really feel that this should be fixed as it doesn't stop me from entering or prevent anything just slightly inconveniences me and most of reddit and the internet as a whole is mature content so shouldn't the devs help their main users.

Android Android: more ads than posts 2026.10.20

Ads in the comments; nearly every other feed post is also an ad. Is this a place to talk or be brainwashed?

Weren't awards supposed to pay for Reddit anyway?

Front-page ads increment by one each ad.

Second post is an ad.
Two Reddit posts.
Ad.
Three posts.
Ad.
Four posts.
Ad.
Five posts.
Ad.
...

Every thread you open has an ad, and then similar posts at the bottom if there are no comments. If there are comments, it's mixed in. Swiping right on an image or post will take you to the next thread or a random one sometimes.

Too many ads; fix it. You're not worth it.
Cluttered app is a deleted app.

[Android] Reddit repeatedly opens to a black screen - version 2026-41-0

Every time I try to open the Reddit app, I get a completely black screen. I have to close and reopen the app several times before it finally works.

What's even more frustrating is what happens when I tap a Reddit notification. The app opens to a black screen, and the notification disappears. Now I can't even see what the notification was trying to show me.

This is happening repeatedly, and it's ridiculous that something as basic as opening the app or tapping a notification doesn't work reliably.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra on Android.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Reddit, please fix this

Android Unable to send moderator message on Android

Hi, I'm using Reddit on Android. When I try to send a mod mail to r/PowerScaling, it immediately says "Unable to send message."

My post titled "The king of all" was removed by Reddit filters. I wanted to ask the moderators to review it, but I can't contact them.

Could you please help me understand why messaging is failing?

iOS [iOS] Videos no longer automatically loop in History/Upvoted posts - Version 2026.41.0

For the past few weeks, videos in my History-Upvoted section have stopped automatically looping. Previously, when I watched an upvoted video, it would continuously replay until I scrolled away or exited the video. Now, the video plays once and stops at the end.
This issue only occurs in my Upvoted/History section. Videos still automatically loop as expected when browsing my regular Reddit feed.

Troubleshooting I’ve already tried:
Confirmed that autoplay is enabled in Reddit’s settings.
Confirmed that autoplay is enabled in my iPhone’s accessibility settings.
Deleted and reinstalled the Reddit app.
Restarted the app.
None of these steps resolved the issue.

Expected behavior: Videos in Upvoted/History should automatically loop, just as they do in the regular feed and as they previously did in Saved.

Actual behavior: Upvoted/History videos play once and stop instead of looping.

Platform: iOS (iPhone)
Is this a known bug or an intentional change to the Upvoted/History section? I’d really appreciate having automatic looping restored!

Android [Android] Highlights not visible in nfl subreddit [App]

Highlight posts are not visible in the nfl subreddit. It's been several days (since at least sunday) and it's still not fixed. I am using an android and using the reddit app. It's happening to multiple other users as they have commented in the subreddit about it.

ETA: Apparently this is an issue across multiple subreddits. It's also not exclusive to Android and the mobile app. IPhone users and desktop users across multiple browsers are having the same issue. All the more reason to prioritize fixing the issue.

Mod Tools - Android [Android] Mod-only post flairs disappear from navigation for non-moderators - version 2026.42.0 mobile app

Hello and thanks for reviewing!

I moderate r/PigmentPourDaily r/MobileGames r/BlockGame and have confirmed that making a post flair Mod Only also hides it from the Android (and likely iPhone) app’s flair navigation for non-moderators.

The subs' ANNOUNCEMENT, DAILY, HARD, and BONUS, etc flairs organize official puzzle posts. Members need to browse those categories, but we want assignment of those labels restricted to moderators. I have receive numerous user reports of this issue and have set these post flair to public as a workaround.

What happens

  • My moderator account can see the categories in the Android navigation menu.
  • A regular user could only see BUG REPORT.
  • The same user could see all the categories in the browser sidebar.
  • Making the affected flairs available for users to assign makes them appear in the Android navigation.

Mobile flair navigation was already enabled, and the sidebar flair widget was already configured. The affected user also tried clearing the app cache without resolving it. The desktop flair widget was already enabled and user was able to see options successfully there, but not installed mobile reddit app.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use a post flair already assigned to public posts.
  2. Enable Use post flair as navigation.
  3. Set that flair to Mod Only.
  4. Visit the subreddit using a non-moderator account in the official Android app. The flair is missing from navigation.
  5. Disable Mod Only for that same flair and force close reopen the app and the subreddit. The flair becomes available in navigation.

Expected result

Non-moderators cannot assign a restricted flair to their own posts, but can use it to browse existing public posts carrying that flair with the Reddit mobile installed app.

Actual result

Restricting assignment also hides the category from mobile navigation. Restoring navigation requires allowing members to assign the category themselves.

That forces us to choose between usable puzzle navigation and keeping official puzzle categories restricted. The desktop sidebar supports browsing those categories while assignment remains restricted.

Reddit's Post Flair documentation describes Mod Only as an assignment restriction and does not mention this additional navigation restriction.

Other moderators have described the same issue:

Can Reddit confirm whether this is a bug or an intentional limitation? Is there a supported way to keep assignment restricted while allowing the category to appear in mobile navigation?

iOS iOS & safari: I can’t click on most users profiles. Version 2026.42.1

I can’t click on anyone’s profiles to access info to see how long they’ve been a member, check out their posts/comments etc. with exception to a random few users. I’ve tried it on IOS & Safari. I’ve updated my app. I updated settings to include NSFW posts thinking if that was a possible block. I’ve logged in/out on the web version but
I can’t even find where to log out on the IOS app. My friend told me to check out a comment she posted and so I was going to access it through clicking her profile and nothing opened. That’s what made me aware I have a more systemic issue and it’s not just isolated to one user profile. Any help would be appreciated!

iOS iOS Reddit Shows Our Sub Ranked #6 in News, but We're Missing From the Official Leaderboard

Our subreddit, r/BlackPeopleofReddit, currently displays a #6 ranking in News, with 1.8 million weekly visitors and 48,400 contributions.
However, when I check Reddit’s official News leaderboard, our community is nowhere to be found.
I’ve seen reports of similar discrepancies affecting other subreddits.
We’ve worked hard to build this community, and I’d really like to see our sub properly listed and recognized.
Can Reddit please look into this discrepancy and get the leaderboard updated?
