Discussion I reverse-engineered Block Blast's code. The pieces you get aren't random - they're chosen based on your phone, country, and how much you're worth to them.

Promo THUMB-WAR Survival: would you chase a top-three spot for a copy of OOT as a prize?
I'm Michael from Planetary Games. We make THUMB-WAR for iOS and Android. Its Survival mode has a high-score leaderboard, and we're considering giving people something extra to chase.
The idea: the top three eligible players at midnight Eastern on November 5 would each get a copy of Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 on us. Three people, one copy each. You'd have to hold your spot until the cutoff.
Would that get you chasing a score, or would seeing only three winning spots put you off?

Promo Dead Mile: a free zombie lane defense where you time every fighter's ability (I'm the dev)
Disclosure: I'm one of the devs at Virtual Verse Studio.
Dead Mile is a side-view zombie lane defense: one road, one house, and a squad of six fighters you deploy from cards. Every fighter has an ability that charges during the fight and glows when it's ready, and you decide when to fire it. Fighters you lose get back up on the zombies' side, so a bad trade costs you twice. There are 60 locations and bosses, and the campaign plays offline.
It's free. No banner ads: an interstitial can show after every 6th finished run, never in your first session, and reviving costs a rewarded ad or gems.
Halloween event, Night of the Dead, from 23 October to 2 November.
Free on Google Play and the App Store.

Promo I made an Android game about true stories that sound completely made up
One of my favourites is the story of Lawn Chair Larry — a bloke who attached a load of weather balloons to a garden chair and accidentally ended up thousands of feet above Los Angeles. 😄
Wildly True gives you the setup to bizarre real stories like this and asks you to predict what actually happened before revealing the truth.
You can try that story here:
If you like the idea, there’s a free Android app with 120 stories.
I built the whole thing myself, so I’m currently in that dangerous phase where I find absurd historical incidents far more entertaining than is probably healthy.

Promo I'm an apprentice and built an idle tycoon in my free time: from one solar panel to Dyson rings on 20 planets (iOS, no forced ads)
Hey everyone,
I'm Max, a solo developer from Germany. I'm doing an apprenticeship and spent my evenings building Watt Tycoon, an idle game about energy.
You start with a single solar panel and slowly build up a power park: wind turbines, hydro dams, fusion reactors and later Dyson rings. Every city you supply unlocks something new. When your park on Earth is done, a rocket takes you to the next planet, and each of the 20 planets has its own rule. On one there are storms you can shield against, on another the tides change your output, on a third you tap volcanic eruptions for a bonus.
Some things I cared about:
- No forced ads. No banners and no pop ups. Ads only play when you choose a bonus, and you can play everything without them.
- No loot boxes, every price is shown before you buy.
- Your park keeps earning while you're offline, so short sessions work fine.
- Weekly events with their own small park and rewards.
It's iOS only for now and currently in open beta on TestFlight:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/EuWsQCFf
I'd really like honest feedback, especially on the pace (too slow, too fast?) and whether the planet rules are fun or confusing. Thanks for taking a look!

Promo I managed game shops for 10 years, so I made the game shop sim I always wanted (Android, free)
Many moons ago I worked for two UK game shops (three if you count a buyout). I started as a Christmas temp, moved up to senior sales, jumped to another company as assistant manager and was soon running my own store.
I already had a sim game in development. After playing a PC game about running a retro game shop, I wanted to make a more realistic but still fun version for Android. So I rebuilt mine as a game store and made sure it plays the way a game shop really runs.
GameHouse is out now, free on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.summitukapps.gamehouse
The trailer gives you a flavour. It doesn’t cover everything, and trust me when I say I went deep.
Running the shop
- Serve at the till yourself. Scan items, take cash or card, count out the right change, sign customers up to the rewards scheme and offer insurance.
- POS planner. POS means point of sale: it’s your shop layout guide. Set every shelf bay to exactly what you want sold on it.
- Pricing and trends. Set your own prices against a market that moves, and chase what’s hot this week. Too high and customers walk out and tell their friends.
- Reputation. It drives your footfall, so bad service, empty shelves and a messy shop cost you customers.
- Keep it running. Mop up spills, clear litter and chase down shoplifters. Rain and snow keep people at home.
- End-of-day report. Every night you’re graded on customer service, shop floor and cleanliness, and good days earn a bonus.
Trade-ins and pre-owned
- Customers trade in games, consoles and controllers for cash or for a voucher to spend in store.
- Inspect every item. Turn the case over and check the disc for scratches or the cartridge pins for dirt.
- Test consoles on the test bench: power it up, hear the start-up jingle and play a test game. Test controllers button by button.
- Clean items to try to push them up a grade, or take faulty ones off the customer’s hands for nothing.
- Barter with the customer over the price.
- Buy graded pre-owned stock from the supplier each day too, and offer customers a pre-owned copy at the till instead of new.
- Faulty items come back as returns. Repair them for a cost or write them off.
The business side
- Order from 360 games across 32 consoles, plus accessories, trading cards, board games, miniatures, paints, merchandise, comics, magazines, novels and rulebooks.
- Check deliveries against the paperwork and deal with shortages.
- Pre-orders, new releases and midnight launches, with a Monday briefing on what’s coming. New consoles launch with their own launch games.
- Count the float, bank the takings, order change, and take out loans if you need them.
- Hire staff to serve, stock shelves and clean, and a manager to place orders for you.
- Run marketing campaigns to bring more people through the door.
The bit I’m proudest of
- Consoles age. New generations launch, last-gen prices drop and trade-ins flood in. Hold stock long enough and it goes retro, rare and worth more than it ever was.
- Grow from one shop to five. You start small and work up to a mega store. Build, decorate and expand each one, with a warehouse and storage between them.
- Tournament nights at your card tables.
- Arcade machines on the shop floor.
- Custom game rules, so you can play it your way.
I’m still updating it regularly, so if you find something broken or have an idea, comment or message me. Happy to answer anything about the game, or about what running a real game shop was like.

Promo CrossMath: Stella Link, a crossing-equation puzzle that brings a night sky back to life [Android/iOS]
galleryI'm the solo developer of CrossMath: Stella Link. It's a number puzzle for Android and iOS where every horizontal and vertical equation has to work at the same time.
The puzzle screenshot shows the available numbers below the board. You fill the empty cells, but each intersection has to satisfy two lines. It becomes a logic problem when several numbers seem to fit until you check the crossing equation.
Solving restoration puzzles brings back stars. Complete a constellation to reveal its illustration, a short traditional story, and astronomy notes. Daily and Endless puzzles give you other ways to play.
Available now, free to play with ads and in-app purchases.

Promo I made a stealth game where the maze is a real hex grid every door could be a dead end, you only find out by trying it
Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.haytek.hiveheist&hl=fr_CA
It's called Hive Heist. You're sneaking through a sealed wasp hive built from hexagonal rooms, trying to steal hidden "broods" and get to the exit before a patrol of guards spots you. The twist: every door looks identical, but only some of them actually open you can't tell which until you walk up and try. No two runs look the same since the hive layout changes every time.
You've got four one-shot abilities to bail you out of a bad situation teleport to a safe cell, turn invisible, or freeze every guard in place for a few seconds. Five campaign rooms that get bigger and harder, plus a Quick Game mode if you just want a one-off run, and a tutorial if you're new to it.
It's free, no accounts, nothing to buy to actually play just a game I wanted to make and I'm genuinely curious what people think, good or bad. Happy to answer anything about how it's built too if anyone's curious (it's running on a real procedurally-generated hex grid, not a disguised square one).
