Hi everyone 👋🏼
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but trying my luck.
My sister took in this stray cat that she was feeding for a long time and now we are trying to find a home for him.
He’s a VERY sweet, loving boy. Loves to be pet and is very affectionate. Unfortunately he’s not getting along with her cats but I think this is possibly due to him being a stray since he was a kitten so he may be fine in a house with other cats but would just need some time to adjust.
Please DM me if interested or know of anyone who would love to adopt an orange cat!
EDIT: Thank you for all the advice and suggestions! I really appreciate it. I want to note: He’s been a stray since he was a kitten. My sister has taken him to a vet and he is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and has had blood work done. He’s a perfectly healthy 2 year old boy who loves cuddles. My sister is basically fostering him and wants to find him a loving home because he is not getting along with her cats.
EDIT 2: I AM NOT HANDING HIM OUT TO JUST ANYONE ON REDDIT. Please stop accusing my post and me of such an absurd thing. I have a cat of my own and that is the last thing I or my sister would do who also has many cats of her own. I posted on reddit to help her spread the word for anyone in Massachusetts who can help with adoption, fostering, etc. She is trying to work with shelters as well. This is a process, not something I posted on here to hand out by tomorrow. She loves him very much and has taken him to the vet. It’s just unfortunately not working out for her and her cats so she wants to find him a loving home because he deserves that. Until then, he will be staying safe with her.

This afternoon I found an orange kitty between 1525 and 1515 comm ave. I called animal control, MSPCA, and a dozen other numbers to report this little one. I was able to keep moving them further from the road, but couldn’t get too close. They were very scared. Then I went to the buildings in the area and talked to the management company (it’s bougie buildings with intercoms) and two of them said the cat had already been reported to them, and that it wasn’t a resident unfortunately. They also called animal control. I went back with a carrier but couldn’t catch them. After a few hours I had to leave, but I put some cat food out. If anyone knows this sweetheart that’s too scared to be helped, please reach out!

They also don’t have license plates?
For context this is D&G in Allston. They have a large lot (right side) but they park their trucks out in such a fashion outside

I'm getting lazy this year and don't want to undercoat with woolswax this year myself.
Any recs for somewhere that is lower in price ?
AC auto in Wakefield wanted 750ish.
I've been woolswaxing my SUV from TX since 2019. Frame etc has held up beautifully.

Just passed at least ten cruisers, including unmarked vehicles, screaming down 95 and Route 1 southbound with their lights on On my commute home. Anyone know what they’re responding to? Seemed to be a pretty serious response so I doubt it was a car crash or anything like that.

After the Quincy City Council rejected the mayor’s proposal to buy the former Eastern Nazarene College campus, a Quincy Housing Authority-affiliated nonprofit is now stepping in to buy it.
The attorney general must approve the deal, and it must pass a due diligence period. Plans for the campus include low-density housing such as age-restricted affordable units for residents 55 and older, single-family homes for first-time buyers and preserved open space.

We are staying at the airport hotel, but don't mind travelling a bit. Would be great if maybe there were a couple places we could crawl to. Many thanks!

I went on a long walk today (with no destination in mind) around 5pm and ended up in the hills of Charleston. With the golden hour as the sun slowly set and the foliage, all I wanted was a chill spot with a view of the city (doesn’t have to be Boston at all). So, I was wondering….Charleston, do you happen to have a hidden viewpoint for wanderers like me to checkout? Doesn’t have to be scenic, or perfect, developed or busy - all I crave is seeing the horizon every once in a while to feel human again. Many thanks!
