Chicken Fetish 🐓 Bald Eagle over Boston
Was lucky to happen across not one but TWO Bald Eagles hanging out with each other. Managed to snap this picture and thought I would share.
Went with the chicken flair because there wasn’t a “‘Merica, Fuck Yeah!” one.

Crime/Police 🚔 Are They Just...Giving UP?
Partly venting here but...I live near a very busy intersection in Boston. Within two blocks there are three daycares, a restaurant very popular with seniors, banks, two schools, and other businesses. So it gets a LOT of pedestrian traffic.
It also gets a LOT of motorists running the light. Nearly every time I stand and wait for the pedestrian light a car or more often a work truck just blows through it. I've seen some very close calls with kids'' groups, old ladies with walkers, etc.
So yesterday there's two BPD officers like 30 yards down the road at a detail for a funeral. So I asked one--why don't they patrol that intersection? Ticket some of the offenders.. His response? "They don't do it if we're there." I turned and looked at the intersection which he could see and sure enough another car blows the light. I just walked away before I said something that might get me cuffed and stuffed.
Isn't it their job to make streets safer?

Nightlife 🕺 🍻 🌃 Quiet nightlife on a Friday?
Rolled by the Harp about a half hour ago and it was basically empty despite a live band playing and sounding good. I asked someone what the deal was and they just said Fridays, and that since Covid it just really hasn’t been the same. Have things gotten that bad in the city in terms of nightlife buzz?
And also, if people aren’t going out on a Friday night in October, what in the hell are they paying all this money to do here? Go to school or go to work? I know it rained for a little bit earlier but it’s not cold out and it’s a Friday night in the fall

CONFIRMED Cow Fetish Any Apple Orchards With Cows?
Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew of an apple orchard that has cows? My boyfriend has never seen a cow up close before, and we were hoping to go apple picking this Monday! We've lived around here our whole lives, we just haven't been apple picking in years so we don't know the good spots anymore. Also, if anyone knows of a particularly good orchard without cows, the suggestion is very much welcome!
Thank you for any and all help, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Today’s Cry For Help 😿 🆘 Is Mr Sweeper in West Roxbury still in business?
My partner brought her vac there for repair back in August. They told her it needs a new motor which would take 2-3 weeks to get. She gave them a few weeks and has called several times but got no answer during business hours. Voice mails and texts have gone un-answered. Swung by today during business hours (advertised as 10-5), the door was locked, some Fed Ex notices taped to it. She could see her vac (has a distinctive nozzle/handle) on a shelf as if for sale. Anyone know anything about them?
