Hello! I'm a prospective pharmD student and I'm currently looking at which college is best for me. I know I want to go into a communications-heavy role (preferably with lots of writing and corresponding between different professionals about research and literature, somewhere in the medical affairs space). If any pharmD alumni who went into industry are willing to talk with me (DM or email) about their experiences in UGA and their recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I feel pretty close to my cohort 9 weeks in but that’s about it. I’m not doing much out and about and in Athens and the other clubs I’m in I don’t feel really connected with anyone, despite sharing hobbies I have interest in. A big part of picking this school for me were the social opportunities, but I just haven’t found that yet. I also feel weird being not really removed from undergrad age-wise, yet definitely feeling that split between myself and the undergraduate population.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Rants? I’m all ears 👂
