Sex Do people in general have really quiet sex where nobody moans? NSFW
In some threads where people ask if it really feels THAT great for women since they moan so loud, often comments arrive saying "stop watching porn" or something similar, suggesting that women don't moan in real life and that it's only a porn thing.
Do people have really quiet sex in general? am I really in a minority where the women I've been with have been moaning, maybe not AS exaggerated as in porn but still loudly? hell, when I lived together with my best friend and she had her boyfriend over I sometimes couldn't sleep when she was getting banged in the room next to me. Also when my male friends who lived with me had women over I also heard moaning through the walls.

Culture & Society Why do people mistake me for my mom’s spouse?
This is genuinely bugging me out. I'm only 20, yet people keep mistaking me for my mom's spouse, friend, or boyfriend.
My mom is in her mid 40s, and I'm still 20, so I genuinely don't understand why this keeps happening.
I went to the hospital once, and someone literally asked if I was her friend or boyfriend.
Like, genuinely, this is confusing. I've already asked several people if I look old, and they all said I look like I'm in my mid 20. So I don't think I look like some 30 year old guy.
I honestly don't understand why people keep assuming that I'm my mom's partner rather than her son.
Like it is understandable if they thought I don't resemble my mom but a lot of son doesn't resemble their mom

Love & Dating My parents are constantly asking if I’m going to get a girlfriend anytime soon and it’s very annoying. Are they wrong for doing this, am I in the wrong or neither?
So I’m 30 soon to be 31 and have never been in a relationship. I had basically a fling with a woman last year but we never got intimate beyond making out, so I’m also a virgin. But basically, anytime I say I’m going to some group event, their main priority is for me to talk to somebody. And by that, they don’t mean make friends. They mean find a girl and try to get her number. Even this week when I went to a new Bible study group at my local church and said I talked to and got to know some people, their first question down the line was inevitably “But did you meet someone?”, again referring to me meeting a woman.
And it’s very annoying to constantly get a lecture from them, especially my dad, about how I need to date, need to find someone because I’m not getting any younger, etc. It’s why they can’t stand me just staying home on a Friday or Saturday evening since it’s what I prefer (I’m introverted and like playing my guitar or reading or just watching movies) instead of going out to the clubs or on dates like other people my age.
I will admit I don’t put myself out there much and don’t use dating apps since I don’t see myself as particularly attractive enough to warrant using them. But I also don’t struggle to talk to women at all (hence why I said I met a woman last year and we got on great). But still, it’s getting tiring having to constantly be poked and prodded by them asking if I’m gonna be in a relationship anytime soon, but if I tell them to quit asking they don’t listen and basically ignore me.
So, what’s the solution here?

Current Events What exactly is it about Ethan Klein and the H3 Podcast that has fostered such a parasocial fan base?
I’ve never seen anything like it, and can’t point to any thing that explains it. The “talent” doesn’t seem to be particularly accessible, particularly likable, particularly charismatic. Nor do they seem to specifically encourage this kind of shit.
Some dude you’ve never met cheating on his wife should not be the worst day of your life. This is not comparable to 9/11.
They are having meltdowns. They are forming support groups.

Sex What is sex with someone you love like for women? NSFW
I'm a young man in my early 20s, a virgin at that too and have never been in a relationship.
I see a lot of people asking what sex is like for women when it comes down to the physical feeling.
I want ask what it's like emotionally when you're having it with someone you love as a woman.
I want to save my first time for marriage so that I can do it with someone I love. (I'm not doing it for religous reasons, I'm an Atheist and I don't think you have to view sex the same way I view it).
So I'm asking women, what is it emotionally like?

Sex Question for men: How does masturbation frequency actually affect semen production, sexual urges, and wet dreams? NSFW
I’m a guy myself, and I’ve been curious about something regarding masturbation and how the male body works.
From what I’ve observed, it seems like if someone ejaculates multiple times in a single day, their urge to masturbate decreases for a while, even if they masturbate frequently. On the other hand, if someone goes a few days without ejaculating, their sexual urges might increase again.
I’m wondering whether this has more to do with semen production, hormones, or the brain’s reward system. Does the body produce semen continuously, and does the urge to masturbate actually depend on how much semen has accumulated? Or is that a misconception?
I’m also curious about a few other things:
- Is masturbating around 3–4 times a week, or once every 2–3 days, generally normal and healthy?
- If someone masturbates several times in one day, does their body temporarily reduce sexual desire because of the refractory period?
- For men who never masturbate, does the body naturally release semen through wet dreams (nightfall)? How common is that, and can some men go for months without experiencing it?
I know everyone is different, but I’d like to understand the actual biology behind this rather than rely on myths or personal observations.
Would appreciate hearing from other guys about their experiences and what they know!

Sex I never had an STD. How common is this? NSFW
Really dumb question. I’m in my late 20’s/early 30’s. STD’s came up in conversation. And I was asked how many STD’s have I had. I said none. And everyone looked at me dumbfounded. And accused me of lying. And called me “childish” for never having an STD and not knowing much about them. Later I asked multiple friends if they had STD’s before and they all said no. 🤔
Could just depends on the demographics you’re asking.

Body Image/Self-Esteem Is nudity oversexualized? and would you prefer it to be more accepted by society?
Is it weird to actively like being naked around other people? Because what I’m afraid to admit is that I absolutely love being naked, I don’t see anything intrinsically sexual in nudity and I would like to be naked in more moments.
I don’t mean “not getting embarrassed in those situations in which is it required” like gym locker rooms, saunas etc, but I have plenty of activities that I’d do with my friends where I think clothing is unnecessary and that everyone would be far more comfortable if shame was not a thing. For example I’d totally go naked in the river when I go with my friends. Same with chilling in the tent while camping.
In my personal opinion there is so much unnecessary shame and that being naked also acts upon a psychological level: in that moment you are declaring that you are comfortable with being around that company and that you dgaf about judging, and that you just want to relax. I think the whole concept of “nudity = sexualization” is a thing we made up. As if I couldn’t notice that a guy has a good physique even in his hoodie. I’d still be attracted to him and the whole thing of being teased by unclothing is just because in undressing there is a rupture of an “ordinary” stage towards an intimate one, so nudity is not intrinsically more intimate or sexual than ordinary clothing.
Idk

Interpersonal Is it bad that I get REALLY annoyed when someone takes my food without asking, even if it's my bestfriend?
We went to a fast food restaurant the other day. Everything was alright, I ordered a berry soda and some vegetarian nuggets. She ordered coffee and chicken nuggets. This hasn't happened before, but she took my nugget and kept it in her tray and then proceeded to ask "Can we share??" in that joking tone.
I said no, because i kinda am greedy about my food I'll be honest. She took it anyway, and proceeded to laugh about it. The entire evening, everything just got on my nerves especially because she was ragebaiting me on random things which only fueled the fire, along with her apparent disinterest in the things i was feeling so passionate to talk about. When expressing my frustration, she'd just laugh and say "how easy it is to ragebait" me.
Am I too childish to be mad over some nuggets? Apart from the ragebaiting, I really just wanted to eat my food in peace. Is it too much? I see these memes constantly, about best friends stealing each other's snacks so I'm assuming this is normal but then why can't I feel normal about it?
FYI there were 6 countable nuggets in one serving. And they were kinda expensive too. I wouldn't have cared if these were chips or something. The vegetarian part is relevant because I don't eat meat, so I couldn't really share hers.

Culture & Society Does most people really think Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio is top-tier handsome men ?
I think he's definitely handsome, but just average for a celebrity—nowhere near top-tier. Honestly, there are plenty of way less famous actors who I think are way better-looking. I really don’t get why everyone thinks his looks are unmatched.
By the way, the handsomest man in my eyes is Kim Rossi Stuart, an obscure Italian actor.

Culture & Society Why aren't most people self aware?
You see these people in everyday society. The people that stay stuck in the aisles in grocery stores spending 10 minutes looking at cheese. You see how insane people get when mentioning trigger words like Tesla or trans and watch a fully functioning adult in society have a mental breakdown. The people being extremely loud in quiet spaces. Disrespecting service workers. You see this in relationships as well. Two people that clearly hate each other just won't leave. Or the folks in the corporate ladder that attempts to become a character of a show they watched. How many "oh man I can't function without my morning coffee and 30 energy drinks" people are there? How many grown adults that throw temper tantrums when they can't regulate their emotions when met with the slightest bit of change and resistance, and then followed by a "that's just how he/she gets when they're stressed." Or the people that shift blame constantly. I know there's a lot of nuance in the examples I provided but it's just something I observed.

Health/Medical What could turn my pee a bright almost neon yellow?
I have a slight fever so ive been eating clean whole foods, no alcohol and have taken some extra vitamins to help the system out. I have taken ibuprophen but none today.
Its not dark yellow. Ive never seen pee like this its like if you cracked a neon band and poured out the inside in the bowl. Individual drops clearly contrast to the porcelain.
Have i become radioactive? It was practically glowing

I've never met a vegan person in my country, so all I know about being a vegan is from the internet. However people on the internet usually have the most extreme of takes, and it makes me curious how do the average vegans feel when they see people eat meat.

Family How do people deal with the loss of a loved one?
My dad is 71 and had a health scare today. He has cancer, but thankfully its only on his one kidney and hasn't spread (and you can live with one kidney).
However, when I was waiting for the MRI results I was feeling grief/something i've never felt before.
There have been points in my life that I've really disliked my father. We've had a very rocky relationship.
But the moment I heard his life was genuinely in danger, as I waited to see if the cancer spread to his lungs or not (which would've caused him to die within months), I felt grief i've never even thought I was capable of feeling for my father.
All of the fights we've had was thrown out the window.
Thank god he'll be okay, but now I have to mentally prepare for the day when a loved one will die, because its going to happen. I am so young (26) so this whole thing is new to me.

Sex Is it healthy or normal that I genuinely dont feel sensation in my vagina? NSFW
I am a cis woman. I have been extremely hypersexual my whole life. Tons of masturbation as a teen and in adult life. I had dealt with severe vaginismus for a long long time. Couldn't fit the tip of my pinky in without excruciating pain. But would have mind blowing orgasms just from rubbing the outside. I would try whenever I was like dripping wet and extremely aroused to fit a finger in but it was just as tight and painful as when I was not aroused. But one day I tried like usual and suddenly out of nowhere I could fit anything in there just fine. I still have no clue what caused that. I never tried yoga/stretching or any of that. But I utilized it immediately as I was super horny. I legit felt nothing. No feeling. Not even just a tickle. Tried rubbing around everywhere I could and going deeper. I didnt just not feel good. I couldnt feel my finger. Like someone injected something that numbed my insides. I was super disappointed. I have tried over and over since, with big toys that do all kinds of different things. I dont feel a single thing at all. I have since lost my actual virginity and had sex many times. Guys with giant dicks. Was extremely into it and super aroused and did tons of foreplay and all of that. I quite literally didnt even feel them go in. I feel no sensation inside. Is this normal?
I am genuinely asking. I have looked everywhere for answers but people just are confusing or I see similar questions asked on reddit but not with quite my exact same situation. I see people say that they experience this but that with toys and other people it feels good. I dont understand how that is possible. I just dont feel anything at all. Is this a health issue, just a normal vagina, or me doing something wrong?

Mental Health Is it normal for teens to feel pain from stress?
I'm still in high school, get very good grades, and don't even have abusing parents or anything like that. However, I get stressed over everything I do and it's gotten to my mental health.
I like to believe I'm good enough as a person. My confidence is alright, I have good friends, and I'm doing extremely well in school. I just can't seem to find a reason for all this stress that's building up inside my mind. I personally don't think it's depression, and I certainly hope it isn't. I wouldn't really know what to tell people anyways due to the stigma that is "teenage depression and stress"
I'm too afraid to ask anyone for help, as I'm scared of what people might think of me as a man. The stress has gotten to a point where my stomach is hurting and my eye is twitching at seemingly random intervals. I'm not sure if I'm pushing myself to hard, or I'm just overreacting. I just want all of this to go away so I can live a normal ass life.

Habits & Lifestyle Why do I lose weight on holiday when I eat loads?
Why do I lose weight on holiday when I eat loads?
Edit: forgot to mention in a teacher so stand up all day and walk to from staff room a lot and around classroom and up and down stairs quite a few time in the day. Gym twice a week and training with personal trainer 2 times so 4 workout sessions.
I’ve been to the same all-inclusive resort twice in the last 8 months, and both times I’ve lost weight despite eating loads.
Our routine is pretty much the same every day we never leave the resort: breakfast, pool, snacks, lunch, pool, dinner. We went to the gym about 4 times during the week, but otherwise weren’t particularly active.
The first time I lost 2kg in a week, and the second time I lost 2.4kg. I also once went away for 7 weeks and lost 9kg, despite eating plenty and not really watching what I ate.
What I find strangest is how different my digestion feels. On holiday, I can eat until I’m full, digest my food comfortably and feel hungry again later. At home, I constantly feel bloated, tight and heavy, my digestion feels sluggish, and I rarely feel hungry.
How can my body feel so different when I’m eating more or less the same, if not more, on holiday?
I know calories in vs calories out plays a role in weight loss, but could stress and anxiety have a bigger impact on digestion and weight than people realise or am I delusional.
