game wants me to update to join the tournament, but there is no update in appstore…

I caught some pushback earlier in the week for my claim that the tournament wave speed up mechanic only applies up until your previous best wave on that tier.

There were enough people telling me that I was wrong (that it is in effect indefinitely until it is stopped either manually or by drained life saves) that I became unsure. Today I had the opportunity to test it.

Context: I do not have T23 unlocked, and my previous best Mythic run was W26. I did not have IS card itself equipped for this run, which I would assume makes no difference anyway.

I intended to make a video to show the transition but the last fleet on W20 died a bit sooner than I expected. But in this image, I have just finished W20 (where I still had IS active) clearly not used any of SW/DM/Nuke yet, and I definitely did not stop it manually. IS dropped me on W26 (previous best), not W30.

The reason I am interested in this:

In todays tournament, there is an arbitrary advantage for a lot of players - it does not seem possible to wave skip to W26 in today's tournament seed, so it's impossible to get to W26 without killing all fleets on W25. But the IS can get you directly to W26 to face the fleets there instead - only if you happen to have run a tournament before where it was possible wave skip to W26.

I am currently eHP farming T11 up to 8500 and next week I will purchase my next GT cooldown upgrade to have MVN sync the trio to 110s (GT and BH duration 42 with perk). I have upgraded GB duration fully and made sure that the duration lab stops at 20, ergo a total of 55s. The other GB stats are currently 30 duration, 4x bonus and 35m range. I'm running ancestral GS and even without sync my GB makes up for 30-35% of coin income.

This means that I now have the chance to retire (for now) my trusty mythic GComp in favour of either my SH or BHD (both ancestral). Reroll shards are a bit scarce for me right now and prepping either would likely eat up all I have, if it's even enough, so I have to be frugal.

Has anyone else been in this position before and knows which one would generally be better for coin income? Is there any other relevant info needed to judge this accurately? I am personally leaning towards BHD because SH's impact is dampened by my ancient GS, and including perks my free upgrade stats average ~120%, ergo a guaranteed +30% in the end phase.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

I pulled 100+ mods after my last epic. 2.5% means about 1 in 40. I have only got a total of 2 epic mods EVER. The other ones are merged. 2000+ gems down the drain

Not sure which version changed this, but at some point, restarting the game daily was no longer necessary to maintain good CPH. At least in my experience, I went quite a while without needing to restart it.

Seems like 29.1.1 brought that back, though. If your CPH has dropped, try restarting the game!

I did a higher tier run to readjust my farming run start time, so when I woke up in the middle of the night to restart the run, I did not wear my glasses and just adjusted the tier lower to my usual farming tier and forgot about it then went back to sleep. When I got to the office that morning to check on the run, I was shocked and wondered why it was already finished and my waves are so low plus it says highest wave achieved, that’s when I realized, I did my farming run on T16 and somehow also accidentally cleared it lol. 😂

I'd guess not as I guess the 460 medal cost for Flame Bot range would be more medals than the 442 I have on preset 1?

So EB Mastery is the best for Cells, but how much of an Coins Boost can i get? I got GT+7.

Couldn't achieve 500 waves in a normal t23 run but in mythic it was doable. I'll take it and those new labs.

any documentation / formal response from devs? this game is nefarious for partial documentation, misleading texts and sometimes plain out hiding game mechanics which are crucial. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature.

Would love to have this point verified properly, as technically speaking - from the wording of the Ally chip, it SHOULD convert any type of enemy (unlike Attack chip which explicitly excludes Fleets)

I'm relatively new to the game. I know that I need to keep lab going and stuff, but I get to wave 1300 consistently on tier 1. When should I go to tier 2. I have tier 3 unlocked and modules.

Hi all.

I've been playing for just over a year. Looking to validate whether my current plan is looking good or if there is a lot of opportunity elsewhere. I've added screenshots from Project Rend which should give you a vague idea of everything. It has defaulted to my Farming setups, however tournament setups are your typical ones for CL-based damage builds.

Effective path has a lot of the Assist Module labs as being the best bang for time for eEcon and eDamage. I am currently making around 1.25Q a day which is only enough to support one of these for the foreseeable future. My current thinking to optimise would be to invest stones into GT duration and Assist Substats - Core to allow for pGT, pDW and pBH without the use of Gcomp. This would allow me to swap it out for PF to be a large increase in damage which should theoretically allow me to farm higher tiers for more Coins, Cells, Shards etc. The only downside is this won't generally translate into a lot of waves for Mythic other than increasing substats through Core.

As Mythic is quite young, I am not sure if investing into any current strats now would be benefical if any changes occur that lock me out a bit and set us a bit behind.

As a 1-year old tower, I know there are a lot of easy wins with damage labs/attack speed etc. I'll be slotting them in shortly once GB labs are done (most likely Attack Speed first). I'm at the point where building bot-bot will become viable shortly so that may be the next plan to work through and Synchronise.

What are your thoughts?

I have over 90% free attack upgrade and am on wave 700 but only have 146 upgrades to damage. WS damage is maxed

Noticed discrepancy on waves amount on the top and regular bars. It didn't affect anything but was very unusual.

Almost lucky that is. Got all these pulls, but can't make it ancestral yet because I screwed up let auto merge put all the fodder into SH (hence why its ancestral even though I don't use it yet)
