For some reason I can’t join my friend anymore who’s also on ps5, the game just says “unable to join user backend sessions”. We’re on the same version of the game, we’ve tried signing in and out of Epic Games, restarted both our ps5s, changed DNS settings manually and made sure both our NAT types are the same (type 2). What does one do at this point?

Should I build a railway to bring oil to my base, and build every here, or build it there, I'm already making bio fuel I have like 100000 solid bio fuel

Designing more roads and rails until I find one I like enough to make a whole set of blueprints for. Today I went for a design that looks clean, isn't too crazy on resources, and all of the edges end in parts like beams and pillars that will be easy to attach other blueprints to.

I wanted something that looked clean but could be made as a simple early game starter screw factory.

Impure node, 30/min in, 120/min out.

Signals are the bane of my existence and I just can't figure them out despite the videos and guides I find online.

I have a train layout like the one below where I want to two trains running simultaneously. One trains going from left station, to the bottom and back. The other going from the right station, to the bottom and back.

I'd really appreciate anyone that can help me make heads and tails of this and any other suggestions they might have.

At least it's a simple design and pretty easy to move the top part up a few meters and widen the road a bit

Hi fellow pioneers, i've got a problem with starved machine... I did loadbalance supply line 1 to 5, and my middle machine is starved of steel pipes. I cannot find the reason, math is correct, machine supplying this loop is working on 100%, but still somehow there is something wrong. And the production is not as effective as it should be

Today I want to show you one of the earliest buildings of my world, where I began to experiment with signs. I made this Austrian gas station about two years ago and its only purpose is to refuel the trucks in this area.

This district is still largely unfinished and my building skills have developed since, but it's always cool to see this gas station and I want to keep it just as it is.

Note:
Last screenshot shows how i used to experiment with unicode symbols back then to make signs.
Nowadays i use  u/_nova_tech_'s Satisfactory Symbol DB for creating signs.

No mods used :)

There are some WIP things like usual

One big thing thats given me pause especially since I play on series x is the dlc is going to be on the same map and how that is going to affect performance. Which IMO is in my opinion severely lacking especially when I get aggressive pop in when exploring. Even though my factories are pretty paltry in comparison to most people's and not even a drop in the bucket compared to the huge builds ive seen.

I'm also concerned when they talked about the game being more "old school" where theres less focus on high tech parts and its more about refining ore which I'm honestly not sure if I understand what they mean.

ive been thinking about starting a new save for a while now but i dont know now because this is my first save file and i just finished phase 4 after 360 hours. i thought about it cause i have a very cool idea for my next nuclear factory and im confident enough now to actully be able to build it. but i also feel like the rest of my world looks like ass and just wouldnt fit in with what im trying to build. but yeah its my first save file and 380+ hours on so i cant decide if i should start a new file or just play more
