I'll start with some basic info about myself, I'm Bean (He/They). I'm 25+ years of age. My time zone is EDT and I can reply decently frequently, but I do have work Monday-Wednesday every week, so my replies will definitely be slower those days.

I used to roleplay a lot as a teen, but haven't for a long time. I've been wanting to get back into it for a while but just didn't really know where to start. I recently started getting back into a bunch of media and the walking dead got me inspired to try again.

With that being said, please excuse me if it's a bit clunky or not super mega well thought out.

I'm looking for a RP partner for a more long-term rp. I'm hoping for someone that can reply at least once every 2-3 days. Hoping for semi-lit to lit. As far as where the rp will be, I was thinking over discord or I can do Google docs.

The setting is in the walking dead (TV show not comics) universe, though I would prefer an OC to a preexisting character. I'm comfortable with you playing multiple characters, but I'd like to cap it at 2-3 main characters max. The time frame is about 6 months after Monument Day. I have a rough starter already written, but I'm willing to change things around to fit your character in easier. It takes place in the northern Midwest of the United state and starts in a fictional small town surrounded by forest.

I have an OC already made. Her name is Roxy. She also has a bloodhound named Red that will be a part of the roleplay, though to a much lesser extent.

I don't have any strict ideas for plot, I mostly want to do this for practice and to get used to roleplaying again.

Hello to all reading this! You can call me Magix, I’m 25F typically in PST. My experience ranges from writing one shots, to fanfics, and novella responses. I’ve been writing for over a decade. I’m in search of a roleplay partner who feels the same love I feel towards writing, while still thinking of it as a hobby, and someone who is able to reciprocate my energy in creating a beautiful story. 

I write in 3rd person only. My responses tend to be adv. lit with some even hitting novella, I typically average more than 1k words and don’t go lower than 500 words. I would rather write with someone who is able to hit the same length as I am, with understanding that some scenes may have varying lengths. Dialogue is cut shorter unless the setting is in need of description. 

Roleplaying is only a hobby for me. I write when I’m able to, not every second of the day. Rapid fire responses is not something I typically enjoy doing. I’m quick with OOC chatter, unless I’m busy or something else comes up, while my replies tend to be around every few days. Don’t be afraid to give me a heads up, or let me know if you’d rather take a break.

• Someone who is able to yap with me and give the same energy I have when it comes to the roleplay. I’ll assume you’re not interested otherwise

• OOC/OOG is not a requirement but definitely encouraged! I’m a yapper. I always love sharing fun facts, talking about some super cool event, sharing boards, and more! As an online extrovert, I’m always looking for someone I can connect with!

• Someone willing to create a beautiful story outside of just a simple trope 

• Flawed characters. No mary sues or gary stus allowed! Take your perfect characters and write them someplace else! 

• Respect is something I expect, but a lot of writers I’ve met have none of that. If you are against LBGTQ+ and POC characters (and people), this is not the place for you. Be kind! 

High Priority plots and genres!

• I have been yearning to do something set in the Wild West for SO long. Anything with cowboys is my go-to.

• Perhaps something historical? I’d love to do something set in the distant past, preferably an Ancient Rome or China setting. I’m a big fan of different mythology and a lot of my recent storylines have taken inspiration from those eras, as well as the different gods and tales from the myths. 

• Fantasy would also be interesting! I’m a huge fan of fantasy creatures, medieval settings, magic systems, and more! I prefer worlds with the majority of these typical fantasy elements. A lot of my characters in this genre tend to be magic users or elves, but I also have a liking towards dragons. Dragon riders plots are interesting, the pairing with a dragon shapeshifter and a seasoned rider is always fun to write out. Again, sometimes I take inspiration from mythology and I have written plots where the story was centered around a pantheon based on actual gods and goddesses.

• Vampires. No further explanation with that. I’ve been a lover of these creatures for years, with my goal of consuming the most media about it as I can! I like writing mysterious characters who keep their motives to themselves, hiding their true identity as a bloodsucking monster. I typically write these in old settings. The pairings I enjoy with vampires would be vampire x werewolf, vampire x hunter, and vampire x noble. Vampire courts are also a joy to explore.

Obviously I wouldn’t be opposed to trying out another genre or plot, but these would be my most wanted experiences. Don’t be afraid to come to me with a different genre or style!

High Priority Fandoms

Harry Potter I’ve been a fan of the movies for years, as well as rereading the books whenever I can, and would love to do something in this universe. I think the magic is just beautiful. We could do something in the Golden Trio, Marauders, post-voldemort, Legacy, pre-Legacy eras. We could explore the other schools and give them our own twist, without giving in to any of the stereotypes. Maybe even an exchange program, something like the Triwizard Tournament but not exactly. I’d prefer to stay away from canon and create our own story, with a new set of characters and supporting cast, but if the story is interesting enough then I’d be willing in doing something based on the canon storyline. I tend to play OC x OC. I don’t think I’d give the characters enough justice or play them well enough for you, which I’ll probably say for the rest of the fandoms.

Some more fandoms I’m really looking for are : Game of Thrones, Jujutsu Kaisen, Arcane, Overwatch, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure(!!!), Naruto, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Marvel, DC (!!!), Life is Strange, Valorant, Genshin Impact (!!!), andddd probably way more.

Hi, I’m Mars! A bit about me and how I write: I am 32F and in EST. I’ve been writing for about 2 decades. I prefer to write stronger characters that lean more toward the masculine traits. I typically write about 3-4 paragraphs that focus on introspection, world building, and atmosphere while keeping the dialogue minimal enough for my partner to respond! Length depends on the situation though and my partner’s post length; a moment of action will always be shorter than something like, moving from setting to setting. I like to write NPCs to flesh out the world and will also describe the world our characters inhabit, something I hope my partner joins me in.

I don’t like having my characters controlled by my partner and I won’t control theirs either or tell them how their characters should act. I also make characters per plot and don't have pre-made characters. I don’t always have perfect grammar/catch all of my typos but I do try my best, I don’t expect perfection either. I’d love it if we could have multiple rps if we’re a really good match, focusing on one at a time of course! I also love responses which acknowledge what my characters have done and said or even give an interpretation of what my characters is doing, I offer the same. I would also like the mention I do my best to be canon compliant but these are my interpretations of canon characters so they might not always be perfect, I am open to criticism and adjustments though! Please also be able to take minor criticisms. I highly value good communication!

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

I write in third person and am literate. I’d prefer we both stick to that. Also, I’d prefer if anyone who replies to this be an adult. Not super into the idea of talking with kids. Also not very interested in oc’s (unless they’re for plot convenience). And really, really do not like when the other person controls my character.

The characters, or corners of their respective universes, that I’m looking to write about are primarily Batman, Superman, Daredevil, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), the X-Men (mainly Cyclops), or Spider-Man. Mainly the comics, but I’m open to writing other verses. I probably wouldn’t want to write for Nolan Batman, but I can write for Gunn Superman, as an example.

These characters are more for me than you, if you want to write as Zatanna or Wasp and have them team up with Batman or Daredevil, that’s fine. I’m not limiting any of this to just the characters these guys typically associate with in their own books.

What we rp will obviously be dependent on the character you chose to be. I’m pretty open to different preferences. I can do a super action-packed plot or something slower. Either way I’d like to have an overarching goal that the characters are striving to accomplish. That goal could be anything and doesn’t have to be anything grand. There’s obviously a lot of character potential and depending on how in depth we go I’m more than open to writing for more than one character when the plot requires.

Hello! I'm looking for a roleplay partner interested in creating a collaborative, character-driven story set in the world of rival mafia families.

The Plot

It all begins at a party, where two strangers meet by complete chance. They strike up a conversation, discover they have more in common than expected, and gradually develop a close connection. Neither of them thinks much of their different backgrounds, and for a while, their lives together seem relatively ordinary.

However, there's a significant detail neither knows about the other.

My character belongs to a powerful mafia family, one that has been at odds with another organization for years. Your character is the daughter of that rival family's leader.

Neither character is aware of the other's family connections when they first meet. By the time the truth comes to light, they've already become deeply invested in each other's lives.

Their discovery changes everything.

Suddenly, a relationship that once seemed simple becomes complicated by years of hostility, family expectations, and competing loyalties. Both characters must decide how to handle the situation while dealing with the consequences of their families' history.

Can two people from opposing sides find a way forward when everyone around them expects them to remain enemies?

What I'm Looking For
