Itās Tuesday, and Iām still wearing this Rolex GMT-Master II. Itās been on my wrist for nearly a month now, and the honeymoon phase is still in full swingāI think you all understand that feeling, especially with a piece like this! š

The happy weekend has passed, and we have to face the difficult Monday to Friday.
Bruce Wayne, I'm wearing a GMT watch today. Personally, I like black, but I prefer the combination of black and gray, which is also why I didn't choose an all black bezel
What watch are you wearing today

I'm just wondering if most people here earn enough that family/friends just assume their watches are retail, or if you get called out / questioned often... no judgement here at all obviously it's just a genuine question I've always wondered about for people in this community.

Iāve handled and worked on quite a few replicas over the years, but this QF Yacht-Master 126622 Free Sprung has genuinely left me disappointed.
At first glance, it looks decent. The blue dial is attractive, and the overall appearance isnāt terrible.
But once I started disassembling the watch, things went downhill quickly.
Hereās what I found:
1. A 116622 case on a 126622
The first major disappointment was discovering that the case is engraved with reference 116622, despite the watch being sold as a 126622.
For a supposedly premium version, especially one equipped with a Free Sprung movement, I find this unacceptable.
2. Terrible bezel construction
This is where things get particularly bad.
No separate bezel retention ring.
No lubrication present in the bezel assembly.
Excessive bezel play.
Extremely poor clicking action.
The click spring doesnāt properly engage with the bezelās teeth.
That last point is especially frustrating.
Looking at the construction, the click spring simply doesnāt seem to sit correctly against the teeth itās supposed to engage with.
The result is a bezel that feels loose, poorly assembled, and nowhere near what I would expect from a premium replica.
3. Overall assembly quality
What bothers me most isnāt one isolated defect.
Itās the combination of questionable engineering, poor component fitment, and disappointing assembly quality.
Iāve handled considerably cheaper replicas with better mechanical construction.
A Free Sprung movement might sound impressive on paper, but whatās the point if the rest of the watch feels like an afterthought?
Final thoughts
I genuinely wanted to like this watch.
Unfortunately, after taking it apart and seeing how everything fits together, Iām left with very little confidence in its overall build quality.
For me, this is easily one of the most disappointing replicas Iāve worked on.
Iām not claiming every QF Yacht-Master has these problems, but this particular example is nowhere near the standard I expected.
If youāre considering the QF 126622 Free Sprung, Iād strongly recommend looking beyond the movement specifications and paying attention to the actual case and bezel construction.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with QF Yacht-Masters?
Iād be interested to hear whether this is an isolated example or something others have encountered as well.

After 12 years I entered back into watch reps. My first 40 were from Thailand and having received this today I realise how different the āshittersā are to the real thing.
Fico was the TD I chose and from payment to receiving it in the UK was 11 days. Thatās pretty impressive. I also have a Rolex Yachty Iāll share pics of later.
The only issue is the rotor is a little noisy but Iām hoping with a little wear it will wear in a bit as it been sat in a warehouse for a while no doubt!
Needless to say the bug has me! I have 2 more from Fico coming and 2 being modded by Xing Patrick.
ā¦yes I know he doesnāt reply to every message and disappears but the quality of his work is second to none from the images and people Iāve spoken to. So I shall wait!
Have a good Tuesday all!

Just got a brand new weighted RCF/RGF Bluesy and I developed a rash with small little bumps on my wrist. I wear real 14k gold rings , heavy 160 gram Cuban link chain and Cuban link bracelet and earrings for years all 14k and never developed a rash !! The last time I got a rash like this was when I was in the 6th grade and it was on my ring finger from a silver graduation ring. Any suggestions? Maybe itās filth from the factory since I havenāt washed it yet ? Or allergic reaction? Iām not sure

It never made much sense. People who know what it is know it must be a rep, and the people who don't just assume I'm a homosexual. It had zero tactical advantage. Yet here we are. We are few, but we are mighty.
The Rainbow Daytona isnāt everyoneās cup of tea, and it doesnāt have to be. Whether itās your taste or not has nothing to do with whether it can be replicated properly.
My Review
Years ago I saw VenomGT3 post his rainbow Daytona from IPK or something. At the time, it looked perfect to me- but it wasnāt weighted, the bezel transition was off, and the subdials were glittery (For some weird reason, even on some of the nicest buildings they opt for a glittery subual rather than the proper gold leaf pattern). Since I was 16 years old at the time, my judgement was impaired; but fortunately, I never pulled the trigger. The only way to fix that was a custom build with an SW dial and bezel. To get a good rose gold color, it also had to be plated. I lurked for years for a good factory. I ended up going with rwi.life.
They were patient, explained everything clearly, and never tried to upsell me. True watch people, and I appreciated it. The build took about nine weeks. If you donāt haggle, it can probably take closer to five.
Itās a VSF base, and it feels sturdy at about 170 g (gen weighs ~205g). The movement and rotor feel clean and smooth. Some custom shops offer an RCF base, I believe, but apparently itās hard to set custom diamonds into RCFās particular tungsten mix, so VSF was my best option. There are weighted clasps and bracelets that are fully weighted are slightly lower quality than VSF, but I still chose to sacrifice weight for finish. I find the 40mm Daytona to feel rather small, which is quite pleasant.
The moissanite setting is excellent. I believe the gen has 56 individually set diamonds, and this does as well. The bezel and dial are from SW, and the 36 set sapphires have an excellent transition. Itās really hard to capture how this watch looks with a camera, but in-person, the rose gold plating color glows and reflects like Rolex Everrose! I did my best with these shots, so bear with me! This watch is even more beautiful in-person.
I definitely recommend the custom route. I plan to keep working toward a fully weighted version with some improvements, but for now, that is all!

Hey,
Would like to share the first Rep order experience from the Andiotwatch.
Everything went good, Andiot was communicative on WhatsApp, despite his english felt a bit weak. I decided to go with ORF NTTD because of VFS factory waiting time. A good review of them at the replica watch forum also fortified my confidence.
Andiot has told me it would take more time than stated 6-7 days. He told me about 2 weeks, but QC arrived much faster. Then, shipping was a bit hit by the Chinese holidays, but the payment was made on the 24th of September, QC 29th and on the 19th of October delivered to the door in the Europe. The payment confirmation via Revolut was done in 2 days.
The only miss is a lack of box/papers like some sellers show in Instagram. You are getting just a watch with an extra strap.
Regarding the watch, 0 concerns from my side, build is great, also looks very good. For its value I am very happy. I hope that this ORF calibre will last, we will see.

VSF PO 39.5. In a world of Rolex submariners, this one punches well above its weight. Show us your most under appreciated rep.

Started off thinking Iād just get one good rep. Now Iām comparing factories, obsessing over QC pictures, checking tiny dial details and already planning my next purchase before the current one even arrives. š
The attention to detail, the research, and honestly, this community make the whole experience so much more fun.
Anyone else spend more time researching their next watch than actually wearing the ones they own?
Whatās the one rep in your collection you absolutely love?

Have a Weighted Daydate inbound but right now can't seem to find a plater in the community who will do it. I've been told there are issues plating recent tungsten heavies in white gold. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Just got this VSF v2 (v3 if it actually exists idfk?) DJ41 free sprung appearance blue sunburst with jubilee yesterday. After a quick oiling and polish I am pretty impressed with the quality overall . VSF jubilee was definitely a bit dry and rough before giving it some oil.
Plan on sending it over to Dom at TMS in the next month or so to get the bracelet in a good spot.

I want to share my disappointing experience with TrustyTime and Andrew.
I purchased an Omega Seamaster replica for nearly $500. When the watch arrived, the automatic rotor was practically stuck and would barely move.
I contacted Andrew and followed his troubleshooting instructions. I manually wound the watch and tried tapping it against my palm as suggested. The second hand now works, but the automatic rotor is still stuck.
Andrew then suggested opening the case, tightening the rotor, or applying lubricant myself. Why should I have to open and repair a watch that arrived defective?
He also mentioned a watch repair technician in the US. I requested the contact details and followed up asking for a proper solution, but I still have no repair arrangement or confirmation that TrustyTime will cover the costs.
I understand I purchased a replica, but paying nearly $500 for a watch with a defective automatic movement is unacceptable to me.
I am sharing my experience so potential buyers are aware of the risk and the after-sales support I've experienced.
I have the email conversations and videos documenting the problem.
If TrustyTime resolves this issue, I will update this post.

I managed to complete the first Franken Bvf santos with gen screws (not gen spec- actually gen) and gen crown. Never done before from what Iāve seen as theyāre pretty much impossible to find. What do you think?
