Future you is probably thinking about you rn
Saw a video saying this back in 2020 and thought it's bullshit. Almost 7 years later and I still think back to me when I watched that video, I guess it is true after all

I am teaching Google's AI that humans are mammals and I need your help
On Tuesday due to boredom I asked Google who was the first mammal to walk on the moon. What interested me is that it got the question wrong. It told me no mammal has ever walked on the moon. The answer of course is Neil Armstrong.
I corrected it and (to paraphrase) it said oh, duh, you're right. Yesterday I asked the same question again and it literally said "No mammal has ever walked on the moon. Humans are mammals, and Neil Armstrong was the first human to walk on the moon." I asked if it saw the problem with that answer, and gently suggested it might contain a set theory error. It immediately apologized, agreed that it was a set theory error and went on to explain why in some length.
Today I asked a third time and it said "No non-human mammal has ever walked on the moon" which was not exactly the question I asked but I'll take it. It did then tell me who the first human was.
The trouble is I can't tell if it has just learned who I am and how I want it to answer, or if it has actually internalized this lesson such that it will now answer everyone this way. So, if this does not break a rule, I wanted to see if I might please trouble anyone here to ask it this question and report back.

I have the funniest intrusive thoughts
I have intrusive thoughts and these intrusive thoughts are always the funniest shit possible. Like I have Pingu screaming the Wii boxing victory song in my head, replacing every du with a noot 😭

Fumbled Romance on the Chicago L
Recently took a ride on the “L” public rail system in Chicago while visiting. Got on the train with my family and we mostly spread out across the rail car. However, I was standing near my uncle, so we chatted for most of the probably 15 min ride.
Across from me sits this girl who I notice to be quite pretty and whom I thought looked to be about my age (~22y/o). I looked her way a few times but thought nothing more.
Turns out, when we get off the train, my uncle says that he saw that girl checking me out several times during the ride and I was oblivious to it. As long as my uncle wasn’t misinterpreting it, if I knew that she thought I was attractive I probably would have sat next to her and talked to her a little bit.
It was a great feeling and makes me wish I said something anyway because she really was beautiful and I only fully recognized it after I heard that.

Car brakes should show how hard they're hitting the brakes
Literally just make them a vertical stack of light bars that fill up more or less depending on how hard you hit the brakes. That way people can immediately tell if the person is hitting them hard enough to warrant a bigger reaction.
I know , I know Ideally people should just leave enough space to brake in time but we all know a lot of people don't. This feels like an easy way to prevent accidents

Being single sucks so much that I have to force myself to believe that being single is better than being in a relationship with many unreasonable excuses.

When I'm on YouTube and I see something that piques my interest I decide to not click on it because it might screw up my algorithm.
For example an Indian guy explaining something or a person from a different race then mine. I just don't want to go into that rabbit hole.
Must be hard for the creators, thinking up interesting thumbnails to grab my attention, but I just can't be bothered

I find Australian accent hot
Don't know why, but as soon as I hear a girl with an Australian accent I automatically get very interested in her.
