26/27 NHL Schedule for the New York Islanders

Of note:
First game is @ TOR, Wed 7:30PM. Toronto will be coming off a back-to-back with Montreal previously. I 100% think the Isles get this prime slot because of Schaefer.
First home game is Saturday 7:30PM against the Devils.
4 back to backs in December: away-home, home-away, away-away, away-home.
Longest road trip is late January to early February, 5 games with one day break in between each one: PIT CAR TBL FLA BUF. Then the All-Star break then an away game at MSG. January also begins with a 4-game road trip (SEA VAN CGY EDM).
Longest homestand is beginning of March with 4 games (WAS, VGK, PIT, MTL).
First game we see Lee again is Dec 15 (Tue 7PM) away. Feb 15 (Mon 3PM wow what a horrible time President's Day! You'll have off when Lee comes back!) he comes to see us.
Season closer is April 10th, 5PM vs CBJ at home (like two season ago... meaning maybe we'll land DuPont again this off-season?)

Did anyone catch Schaef on "The Price is Right Tonight"?

Not sure if anyone was able to watch this as it was on Canadian TV (those with "methods" to watch stuff likely had access to this on the CityTV channel), but it was fun to see Schaef be his goofy-self on a game show.
Look at this picture and ask yourself: who won the car?
Side note: while Tom Wilson earned brownie points for going on this show (which was also a charity event), he really has no personality.

Tonight’s attendance (tickets sold) was 13,273. That’s the third-lowest ever in UBS Arena history

The lowest ever was 12,739 on October 24, 2024. 7:45pm on a Tuesday night against the Red Wings.
Second-lowest was 13,014 on December 2, 2025. 7:00pm on a Tuesday night against the Lighting.
Actual attendance (as in tickets scanned) for those games looked like it was under 10k. Tonight might’ve been the same.
(My first post mistakenly said second-worst)

Islanders fan from Europe, coming over to see the team live for the first time against the Blue Jackets in November. Any recommendations for where near or inside the arena to go for a beer & some pre game atmosphere, chat to some other fans etc? I’m travelling solo so any tips appreciated, very excited for this.
