Can i have any tips and tricks? I wanna stop being a lurker

And be had my account about 3/4 months and want to post on a sub Reddit but I have low karma, I’m trying to build this up however I feel like I’m going to be commenting for a year until I actually get to post my own Reddit post…. So how much karma do I need to post?

I tried posting twice in a community and my post is getting removed automatically quoting the above line mentioned in the title
Can someone please tell me why this happens and how to avoid this

I’m unable to post in certain groups?

I’ve tried so many times, so many ways, different configurations and different seperate isolated accounts. How do I even use Reddit at this point.

What is "flair" and why am I forced to have some before being allowed to participate?

Sorta starting out and haven't used much social media except as a lurker, so more first time trying to being active. I am attempting to start October 23rd or October 30th to publish/write a story or chapter per week for 52 weeks. Admittedly this is a lot out of my comfort zone I am mainly used to doing DnD for my two weekly groups so I have never actually put my writing out there. I have an initial story drafted and edited in the 85k range for the first 20 or so weeks. I also feel like I am writing too much like my business major self? Are there general formatting rules? Or like idioms I should follow? Pretend you are talking to a business major and project manager whose sense of social media is yes I in fact have had a Facebook.

new to this Reddit thing hoping to get better at cooking on this and just checking out different subreddits etc.

This will sound silly since I’ve had a Reddit account for over three years. But I’ve only used it to look things up and haven’t made my own posts. But something has happened in my life that I wanted to share and invite discussion on. And I can’t post it where it belongs because the automod keeps denying it. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Maybe I’m just too old to understand, but any advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance!

Hey Reddit!

I have recently been experiencing issues where I am getting error messages saying my account ‘isn’t established’.

I have done some research, but am still clueless as to why this could be…

1. Account age - my account is definitely old enough that this shouldn’t be a barrier.

2. Verification - I have verified my account with both email & phone number, so again I don’t believe this is the issue.

3. Karma/Contributions - I don’t have an overly high karma score (in fact, probably pretty low), but I believe this is mainly due to me being mostly a ‘lurker’ - I don’t often comment or post, so whilst this could be the issue, I don’t know how to raise it naturally without entirely changing my Reddit habits.

4. Account standing - I am not aware of any past enforcement actions, temporary suspensions or rule violations on my account. Could this be it? Maybe, but I wouldn’t even know where to check this!

5. Chat limits - whilst I do have some chats, this number is in the relatively low double digits, and only one or two are group chats, so unless Reddit has really restrictive chat quantities, I don’t see this being it.

Does anybody have any guidance on how to resolve this issue? On balance, I believe it would be low karma, but I don’t understand why I have previously been able to start chats (as recently as today), but now am completely unable to start chats/engage fully in communities.

I made my account a long time ago, but I'm pretty much new to Reddit. Things I post keep getting removed, and I'm not sure why.

Is there a way to check why a post was removed? I guess I still have a lot to learn about how Reddit works.

Basically i entered a refute in reddit for posting controvertial comments. Need some tips on how to recover from those comments 🥲
