got the repeater pro early in the mail yesterday!

first impressions:

i have fired off 5? full tubes of ammo so far

- 2 of green/purple nitro shot darts

- 1 of ribbed light blue darts i use

- 2 of used mixed darts

Not a single feeding issue, no jams at all

primes really well!

very accurate! was hitting targets consistently from across the room with iron sights

my only complaint is that it doesn't have a foregrip so you kind of put your hand wherever it can go but there are bits popping out you shouldn't be touching that affect the tube loading mechanism, so i cut bits off of the Nexus Pro X2 foregrip to make it fit on the bottom pic rail, now it's perfect!

My brute pro is getting fixed the catch broke :(

Still my fav blaster to run and tweak, however the stock pistol grip doesn’t fill me with confidence and always feels a bit flimsy. Drac still sells an upgrade version - but I believe that AR grips can work too? What are y’all running?

I could make it as faithful as I possibly can to the original, or I can adapt it to the modern age, with sharp edges and pointy details or I can make some sci-fi/cyberpunk thing, I can't decide, you could even tell me which specific weapon (real or not) you'd like me to imitate

tried to make a grip for a new blaster projec and.. it’s… a little on the big side

i was looking at getting the xshot longshot 2 but my parents nerf blasters because they think no one above the age of 7 should be using them. they also hate how darts are always all over the place. and even if they get me it they would hate to see me use it

Hello, I would like help reassembling my Nerf Modulus MKII. I had to disassemble it to clean it, but now I can't put the pieces back together. Could someone help me by providing photos or perhaps a manual/template?

Basically I cut off the old connector and slapped on a XT-60. surprisingly the blaster didn't fry its self on 3s and you even get a bit of speed boost. After cutting out the webbing in the battery door i thought it could use a thumb screw so i got a m3 x 16mm. works really well.

I then took the flywheel set up from a dart zone vector pro (with the B-car) and put it in the blaster using a mosfet to trigger the flywheels. i also used this 3d printed rapid strike pusher meant for short darts along with a worker stryfe adapter so it now it takes talon mags

i chose the vector pro set up for 3 reasons, the cage geometry is the same, the b-car so the darts don't get caught on the barrel, and the motors have a resettable fuse on them so if it jams it wont burn it self out. when i tried it with krakens the first jam i got toasted the motors and the mosfet.

this is one of the coolest mods I've ever done. definitely one of my top 10 favorite mods.

Usually run it with eotech, laser/light dummy and a sling but i was lazy to go get those

So I just picked up a vintage Dart lot on Marketplace and I found some very strange looking darts and I'm just wondering if anyone on here knows where they come from. If anyone knows id be really happy to figure it out!

With my armory growing and my loadout changing, I am definitely at the point where I need some slings/straps to carry while flinging foam. What are some decent cheap options out there for clip and go for switching multiple load outs and keeping my hands free for myself and a few kiddos?

been lookng for authentic nerf clone trooper blasters online and i is getting a weird mix of listings/prices ...... im mostly trying separate the genuinely decent option from stuff that only looks good in product photos or has a fancy title. btw im not looking for somebody to just advertise thier own shop...more interested on real buyer/user experience. curious what peope here have had good luck with...what woudl you compare first befor spending money on it? even rough numbers or a quick example from your last order would help alot becuase thats easier to judge than another generic top ten list?

I have been on a quest to seek and participate in Nerf wars and other events. Unfortunatly...i seem to live in a country where there is litterly zero Nerf activity. No clubs,events or anything even remotely related.
It would be really nice to find some fellow foam flingers and perhaps see if we can change this empty landscape.
Tips,tricks and suggestions to help me in this endeavor are always welcome.

As the post says, I’m returning to the hobby after a very long time away, and I’m finding waaaaaay more options than ever, which is great. With that said, I’m a bit behind in what the best blasters are, the best brands, the best mods to prioritize, and so on. I checked out the list of recommended blasters, but some of the recommendations do seem outdated (many links no longer lead to products). There are obviously some decent off-the-shelf options, but there seem to be some really good boutique (for lack of a better term) options, as well as build-your-own.

So my question for the sub is what are your go-to primary blasters, sidearm blasters, and sniper blasters? What are considered pretty much required mods, and what other tips and tricks or advice do you have for someone who has been out of the game a very long time?

I’m interested in the hobby of the blasters (modding, building, and collecting), but also would like to join various game types in the future as well. My budget is pretty open. I’m financially established (meaning I’m old lol), I don’t have any preference between online or in-store purchasing, and my FPS goals are to be determined and will largely depend on game types I gravitate toward. My blasters will be for adults (and maybe my daughter when she gets old enough if she expresses an interest), and I think I’d typically lean more toward manual blasters, but I am interested in battery powered sidearms as well. I live in Florida, if that matters at all. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I saw HammerShot being sold for $7 per trade on a secondhand app, and I thought this might be a good way to get started with the Nerf hobby.

I would like to purchase the spring in the first photo and the cylinder in the second or third photo. Which of the two cylinders should I purchase? If I buy one with a brass barrel, the cost of modding it is the same as buying a new dart zone outlaw, so I'm conflicted.

Or would it be better to print and use a hammer shot cylinder that can be found at places like Printable? Because of overseas shipping costs, it seems cheaper to find a service that does 3D printing for me.

I would like to hear your opinions.

Recently got a kunlun blaster and I've been wanting to get a bipod and scope for it, aswell as a half dart drum mag.

I'm looking for a non expensive scope that still functions with (doesn't have to have it) adjustable zoom

And a half dart mag, both one that comes fully built or at least with all the materials needed to assemble it

Or

One that you need to 3d print parts for, I don't have a 3d printer but know people who do.

Modeled a simple dry fire prevention on xshot fury mag. pretty sure it should be compatible with other ones as well but who knows I only have this on hand. the idea is that when you shoot the last dart this soft dart head should give you a feedback that you are loading in air since no darts left xD. tested on fury. will try to do on Nightingale mag next (I own a smiley) hard to find step files for a follower so I caded everything myself. inspired by this model: https://www.printables.com/model/1290310-compound-mag-follower-with-rubber-stopper

With this update i want to let you guys know that i have finished the prototype of the mp18 blaster. Compared to the cad models there are some componets missing, i didnt include them since they dont serve a other purpose then decoration.

For this build I used the hardware kit from the sillybutts foxbat. With the spring that gets 155 to 160 fps. I bought the metric version hardware kit from akblaster mods.

If there are people that want to help with the beta build. It would be nice that they buy the foxbat hardware kit from out of darts. Because i believe that kit is not metric, correct me if im wrong. I believe a couple orings are a little different.

So like I just noticed this noise from my x shot Longshot 2.0 and it’s like a part of the dart pusher… I think anyways I picked it up yesterday from Walmart and it wasn’t making this noise. If anyone has info that would be greatly appreciated!

i think it would be great is seem that you would really only need to mod the front end had basically lengthen the part and here are some of the pros

1. longer cylinder means more velocity for half darts
2. a larger amount of ammo types you can use
3. and if you like inline clips the longer cylinder makes it possible
4. you can shotgun halfdarts and a ton of 50cal foam balls
5. more rall space on the top

Just got my notification from DZ that my order is on its way and will likely be here by Wednesday. Guessing they decided to not wait any longer as I've seen some shops starting to post it on their shelves. Can't wait to hit the basement range with my son.

UPDATE: Moved the nut as suggested and now fits alot better but kicking myself for not thinking about in the 1st place.

just printed a brown(Body) Grey (Insides) Print but struggling to build in using PDF that came with the hardware kit so has any one seen a build video for it or be able to see where I am going wrong.

I am struggling to get the M5 nut into the lower Receiver it just does not seem to fit.

Could make it fit if i smacked it with a hammer but that may damage the lower receiver and need to re print it.

Have added a pic from the guide also a pic of my print incase it's something I am doing wrong.
