Couldn't decide how to paint this one, so I went with a fully rusted roadster instead.
Very impressed with AK Interactive's Ultra Matt varnish, worked great through the airbrush and even just brushed on.

I followed a tutorial by 'MARS GARAGE' on YouTube for the body rust.

- Custom exhaust headers made from 2mm solder wire.
- Custom headlight bar.
- Added radiator supports.

Really really fun and awesome kit that I took my time on. Love the stance.

This one took a little longer than a weekend build but I’m happy with the results. Pretty easy kit just the rear spoiler was a bit of a pain to put together. Paint is Createx Pearl Blue, interior is my own custom mix to get that dark leather look, wheels where dipped for 3 hours in LA’s totally awesome cleaner so it took the chrome plate off without damaging the actual wheels.

It’s finally done kids! I have made this Vette before, so it’s built different than the other one.
The black/red color came out really nice!! Thoughts?

1st time try 2k.. this is the 2nd go as I wasn't happy with how sanding and polishing results turned out after the 1st go.

base coat is kaleido hibiscus purple,

2k is upol and used a 0.5 Mobius,

happy with it now. This was just a test body before going on to a more important kit. But I guess I should build the chassis and interior and finish it now.

Lost both mirrors in this place and didn’t notice until i was home :( ( probably will get them 3d printed)

Finally finished my Tamiya 1/20 Honda RA272, winner of the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix!

Really enjoyed this build, especially working on the beautiful V12 engine. Had a few challenges along the way, including some decal disasters that required repainting the nose and rebuilding the number 11.

Not perfect, but I’m really happy with how it turned out! Decided to leave the engine cover off to show off that V12.

I bought this model for my bf for his bday on oct 26th. I JUST got it in, im wondering if anyone knows someone reliable in HOUSTON TX to put it together and customize it for me?( i want it a specific red) He loved his grandfather who passed a couple months ago and his car was something he really cherished, so i thought it would be a meaningful gift.

Does anyone know how to lower the monogram 59 Impala or have any videos online so I can see how to lower it?

One of Tamiya’s older kits and you can definitely tell by how the second decal sheet crumbled. Fortunately I was able to get an additional sheet on buyee pretty quickly. Otherwise it was a nice easy kit. Also pictures don’t do the neon red decals justice

This kit reminded me a lot of the older nascar kits with its roll cage and engine placement. I wasn’t thinking and used the wrong type of glue on the headlights but otherwise I think it came together nicely.

The original blue livery is lovely but I came across these decals and wanted to do something a little different. They are Studio 27 decals for the 1975 Tour de Corse Rally. Unfortunately they were very, very brittle but the rest of the kit went together nicely

I am a beginner, but I was a custom high end cabinet maker. I like quality tools, but not looking to break the bank.

A love these little kei trucks and this Aoshima kit has a surprising number of parts and tiny details for such a small truck.

I’ve heard horror stories about Italeri kits and this one in particular and it was… okay. The doors took a little bit of adjusting to fit correctly and fitting the decals around the doors and air intakes was a bit painful, but the rest of the kit was so simple that it went together easily.

A fun little build, the kit has maybe 30 parts so it went together really quickly. Growing up playing gran turismo I had to get this kit
