1:64 Newest LCD Koenigsegg CC850

Probably the first wheel-swapped white cc850, absolutely stunning! Been waiting for it since 2024 when I saw the real one at Pebble Beach, still my favorite spec till this day.

LCD is the best diecast choice right now (compared with Tarmac Works and Rhino Models).

Question/Help Is this actually a Kyosho Sauber C9?

Everything about it makes me think it is, but I can’t find any pictures of a 62 numbered one online. I found it for about £8 used in a place in Osaka, Japan.

I mainly started collecting dailies for my diorama. Then i started liking to collect them. Especially vintage 90s/2000's hot wheels matchbox and majorettes

1:18 Two very different NSX’s

This thing popped up on my local marketplace and I thought why not lol, this 1:18 MotorMax Acura NSX/NSX-T?.. is honestly not a bad entry level 1:18 scale NSX if your wanting one in your budget collection. Has all the opening parts and some nice smaller details that other cheap model brands don’t care about. Above I said that it could be an NSX-T because the way the roof lines look… it definitely seems it would have a removable targa top on the body casting, but I’m not sure.
this one’s in need of some TLC and it’s gonna get all of it. I have plans for this beast… UPGRADES are coming.. a complete teardown and cleaning of everything, as well as a slight wet sand/polish job on the body to make this metallic blue pop again is top priority. then to give the interior and engine bay some more colour as well as carpet on the floors and in the rear boot. lastly this things gonna get a fresh set of aftermarket rims and a clean new stance to make it sit pretty. it’ll never compare to my AA… but it’s gonna be a fun project.

If you guys have ideas for the build let’s hear em!

Doesn’t matter how many remake. The original is always the best. Enjoy some of my photos taken with the Leica Q2.

General Discussion Open or leave in the box???

So I recently started collecting and I've come to a point where I'm sure most collectors have been. Do I leave them in the package or take them out for display purposes? Let's be honest they display much better outside of the packaging (especially hot wheels). I never collected with making/recovering any money in mind and I only collect cars that I've owned or love. Problem is I've got almost every Hot Wheels Hellcat/TRX/Trackhawk they've made and soon will have them all. So do I leave them in the boxes as a complete collection or get a dope display??

1:43 Another hit from LCD

This thing is awesome! Full opening and with all the details you’d expect on a high end 1:18 scale model… struts for the the boot lid, carpet on the interior, steerable front wheels, a hood prop! (Very annoying to get into place)

the display case it comes with is also really nice. you definitely get what you pay for here. So far LCD has yet to disappoint me.

Question/Help Is it weird to collect diecast cars without any car knowledge?

I don't have a driver's license. I have little car knowledge. I don't understand car mechanical jargons. I just collect car models that I find beautiful. I collect diecast cars purely because of their shape and colours. There are some types of cars that I find beautiful (eg. Chevy Bel air, Volkswagen beetle, morris mini, Ford Mustang 1969, muscle cars, little compact cars)

I just bought the bburago 1:24 Ferrari F50 (in my opinion the best Ferrari of all time). It's my favorite Ferrari, and it's the first 1:24 model I've had the opportunity to own. The details are simply amazing.

1:64 Why tomica uses paper box instead of transparent plastic case like hot wheels?

When buying hotwheels, at least customers have the opportunity to perform a basic quality check without opening the case. But when buying tomica, it's always like buying a lottery, we never know the quality of the car inside.

Question/Help I was looking for a RX-7 FD model and i was interested in the Polar Master replica until i realized it looks off

Major issues i noticed are about the rear bumper that looks completely flat and short and tiny pop up headlights.

In general the car looks off also in other ways like tires too big. I’d like to hear your opinion and maybe suggestions on other red FDs in 1:18 scale to buy.

One of my first 1/43 scale cars, this colour is incredible! I opted for this 1/43 as I thought the finish looked better than kyoshos really old 1:18 NSX in imola orange.. I’m definitely not disappointed. The opening engine bay is a really nice luxury.
