Well as I think most of us already assume, if there would be another Hollow Knight game it would feature lace as the protagonist.
The kingdom is Fortnest, where lace first gets the guards' of the fortress trust to enter the kingdom. Hollow knight progression is downwards, where's silksong is upwards, antest is inwards, into the middle of the colony. Lace would see there ants, a bug we've not seen yet in the game at all and there's a reason I'll get to later. There are 5 rings to the city, and the city itself is separated into 4 tribes of ants, each gives a reward for helping the tribe. Each ring of the city has a major boss, fighting him gives you a medal, only if you've collected all 5 you enter the palace in the middle. My take on the games now is Hollowknight focuses on lore, silksong on movement and antest will focus on combat. So I want the game to have much tougher bosses and combat mechanics, maybe even multiple weapons. And the game's twist is that the final boss is a weaver who fled pharloom after the events of act 3, and is using the former queen's corpse as a disguise to control the colony, which is actual real life spider behavior! And the generals gives you the medals and other bosses badges, which act as the games charms/crests. But in a new way, you get 5 medal slots and 10 badge slots, which is plenty, but the order of which they are in decides their boost, like a charm that boosts damage might give 100% boost in the first slot but only 10% in the last, the generals represent workers, warriors, and the classes of ants. The currency is leaves because I feel like it fits, geo is greek for land or earth, rosaries are religious thing so leaves fit that ideology.
I know this is very messy but I really don't know how to put it more clearly. And I feel like this would be a really cool game, I'd love feedback on this idea.
