The other day I went to Ike's and ate a burger from made to order portal at Flips. The burger was really good. It had a nice bun, good size patty, vegetables, tomatoes, and cheese. It was genuinely restaurant level.
A few days later I went back and ordered another burger, but this time it came out on ciabatta bread with no other toppings and was significantly worse.
Both days there were school groups, so I don't think that's the reason why, but is this normal?
Does anyone know when the burgers will be more like how they were the first time and not the second? Do the burger change all of the time.
Just thought I'd ask because it was really weird.
Thanks.

So I already took Chem through Nova in high school, and since I am doing the Mechanical Engineering route, I am following the four-year planner they gave us. Since I already did Chem, I have a gap.

I need to take 15-16 credits next semester, and I was going to take the bottom four courses plus COMM 101. Then I was also going to take ECE 101 because I want to declare a minor. Are all these too much? Are some of these easy classes, like ME 151 or COMM 101? If so, what other 2- or 3-credit classes should I take?

I just saw a lost Husky running around on campus it looks like he's wearing a collar but my attempts to stop him to try and read it were unsuccessful. If you see him try to see his tag incase it has a number on it. He was running through the streets around campus too.
Edit: I think it could have been a husky too im not good with dog breeds

I’ve been trying to choose between taking the physics 1 lab in person or online. on one hand, physics is supposed to be super hard to being in person would help me learn better but the lab is like 3 hours long. the online lab is asynchronous and would give me more free time but idk if it will affect my performance/learning in physics or if it will be about the same. does anyone know which i should choose?

Just wondering how the in-person tests would be for someone who's only ever done async. I don't think i have as strong of a memory in vocab and endings as someone who did in-person/in-person tests so i don't wanna tank my grade by starting now, but I think consistent in-person speaking practice would be good and i live on campus so might as well. Do u still do lingua meetings and lingo-hub in the in-person class or no?

Yo does anyone have a shitty experience with your advisors, I'm a cyse major and the study plan the advisors gave me are just straight up wrong. She'd suggest me to take this course during spring for example but it'd only be offered in fall. Did you guys just plan out your study plan yourself? I'm graduating in a few more semesters and i don't wanna waste my time delaying by taking an extra semester.

Or any other non-lab science class, pleaseeeeeee

I'm currently a senior, and in the spring semester I only need 9 credit hours (3 classes) to graduate. That means I won't qualify as a full-time student, and I'm planning to move off campus and work at the same time. Since most well-paying MIS jobs aren't open to entry-level students anyway, and getting an internship beforehand is essentially mandatory, I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone. Next semester I'll have to take the Business Capstone plus two other MIS electives, and I was wondering if anyone has taken the Internship in Management Information Systems (MIS 492). Is Career Services helpful in finding one? I really don't want to use LinkedIn since most of it is either AI slop or ghost jobs, and I barely use it anyways. I should also note that I'm less concerned about making money/hours than getting credits so I can graduate, if the pay sucks that's fine I just want SOME experience before I finish.
(Spring ‘26 grad) I’m eternally grateful. Thanks GMU! Here’s to 50 more years!
Keep going guys, it gets better. I promise.

Is it a good idea to take these classes together?
