General Is this a scam email?
I’m 99.9999% sure it is, but the thought of no longer receiving school emails is a bit stressful so I want to make sure my gut is right.

Can I add a plan to my calendar the same way I can automatically when I'm actually registered? Or do I just have to wait til I register

Currently a high school senior applying to college, let’s just say money is a little tough. My family makes too much money to qualify for a Common App fee waiver, but too little money to pay for all the extra expenses life may bring such as college application fees. If anybody knows a code, please let me know, it would be really appreciated. This post might be wasting a lot of people’s time, so I sincerely apologize for that.
FYI- I did tour campus over the summer, and I sadly didn’t receive a code.

Hi there - my cousin is attending GMU soon as an out of state transfer. What are the most popular go-to bars/nightlife spots for GMU students/grad students?
I (21f) am hoping to go to once upon a scream tomorrow but my friend cancelled last minute and now I need someone to go with. Any woman interested in going together send me a message!!

Hey! We’re looking to connect with college students who enjoy content creation and want more experience building their portfolios.
We’d love to have someone come to our monthly TCG (trading card game) shows in Herndon, take event photos, capture b-roll, and turn the footage into 3–4 cool reels for social media. This would involve 4 hours at each show, with editing afterward. An interest in Pokémon, gaming, or TCGs is a plus!
We love working with the same people, so if it’s a good fit, there’s potential for more work with us beyond these events.
If you’re interested, message me with a little about yourself and examples of your work. Personal content and class projects are welcome!

I’m trying to see what’s the best route after I graduate, should I get a certificate or masters?

I have only a handful of classes to take in order to graduate. This semester would only be 11 credits (not full time) so essentially no aid (grants, scholarships). Can I take a 1 credit course? Will it be covered under financial aid since it’s not towards my degree?? or go ahead and take one of class that i need?
(sorry if dumb 😭my advisor has no meetings available and won’t discuss over email!)

I’m planning to apply to gmu’s absn program for Fall 2027, and one of my concerns is figuring out how to afford the program. For those who are currently enrolled or have already graduated, how did u manage to pay for it? Did you rely mostly on federal student loans, scholarships, grants, savings? Since I already have a bachelor’s degree, I know my financial aid options may be more limited.

Registration's coming up, and I’m looking into taking MIS 436 and wanted to check in with anyone who's taken it.
I’d love to hear your opinion on a few things:
Thanks in advance!
