I made a Foundry module where bicycles are real objects on the map — push them, ride them with physics, crash into walls, and customize every part
Hey everyone! I wanted my players to be able to actually *ride* around the map, so I built a bicycle module.
**What it does:**
- **Bikes live on the map.** A parked bike is a tile everyone can see. Walk up, press **E**, and it rolls beside your token. Press **F** to hop on.
- **Real riding physics.** Momentum, braking, gears, sprint, and turning that gets wider at speed. The front wheel visibly steers and the bike leans into curves.
- **The map matters.** Walls stop you, and crashing wears down your parts. Terrain set through Regions (mud, sand, ice, stairs, water) changes speed and grip. On stairs or water you hop off and push.
- **Every bike is unique.** 51 parts across 8 slots (frame, wheels, drivetrain, brakes, saddle, handlebar, rune carving, accessory), and every part actually changes the physics. Each bike also gets a serial number and 2–3 quirks from its seed ("the saddle creaks", "pulls slightly left").
- **Workshop UI.** Swap parts with before/after stat bars, paint with 9 patterns, and get a bike "certificate" with mileage and history.
- **Multiplayer.** Movement syncs live to all players. The GM gets tools to create bikes, give them to actors and configure terrain.
- **Combat mode.** In combat, how far you can ride is capped per turn.
**Tech:** Foundry v13/v14, system-agnostic. Everything is drawn procedurally, no image assets.
**Honest caveats:**
- This is an early version (0.1). The UI is currently in **Brazilian Portuguese**; English is planned.
- Riding uses a simple stamina resource that the GM can configure or ignore.
