Is it "normal" to feeling exceptionally hungry after a night drinking kava?

im quite new to 'lots' of Kava drinking. have had it in the past, but after recent trip there i brough back enough to drink 3-4 tablespoons in 1 litre of water per night after work. Gives me an amazing sleep.
However, the next day - my hunger is insatiable! is this common?

Has any one been to the beachcomber island in Fiji.

Also what are the prices like for drinks at Schoolies are they run by schoolies or the hotel. Does anyone have a price range
