Thinking of opening a proper drifting academy/community in Bangalore. Suggestions?

I recently got my first RWD (an 86) and have been playing around ways to slide the car as is.
would you recommend clutch kicking or hand brake more for a low powered car like this? I found kicking the clutch feels more natural to me, although i’ve gotten a lot of feedback and suggestion that I should be using the hand brake more.
Also do i need to put any immediate mods to learn drifting or a stock 86 is sufficient enough?
Sorry for the noob questions. i’m a long Honda and FWD fan and this is my first RWD.

I met their manager at a trade show completely unrelated to racing and when they found out what I do, he wanted to work together on something for his team. They proposed a partnership instead of payment and have my logo on their car. I don’t think I’d ever have another chance to have my logo on a race car, so I took it!
They’re a really cool team called MSPEK Race To Reef, they race to bring awareness to reef conservation and have giveaways and trips to go to Grenada and do scuba diving on a reef. I thought it was a really interesting concept and I’m really glad I was lucky enough to get the chance to be part of it in a small way as me and the wife and big proponents for environmental conservation.
I learned a lot about the formula drifting culture from them and meeting the other drivers. Really glad to have had the experience and just shared to share these guys and how I found the sport of drifting. Never been to a race before. I have now been to two of their races in Vegas and Indianapolis. Looking for forward to next season.

I’m in the UK and my social feeds are suddenly filled with some big black boat thing trying to skid then some cowboy mf gets out and has a tizzy fit.
Please for the sake of my sanity, save me from a google hole and tell me:
Who is this guy?
What is that monstrosity he’s attempting to drift?
Why is he acting like a 5yo who dropped his ice cream?
Is this normal for US drifting because it’s not how it goes down over here in Europe?
Cheers!

I know tomorrow is the final round, but I’m curious what everyone thinks about Hot Pit this season. Who impressed you the most, and who do you think has a realistic shot at making it to Formula Drift next year?

I got old and sold all of my gear and got out of drifting, but recently I discovered one of the boys I used to drive with here in Australia has started his own podcast ( LOW ORIGIN PODCAST) and it has me feeling nostalgic AF

Will you notice a huge improvement in ease of drifting by going from:
to
by adding adjustable rear arms?
Right now my alignment is *whatever the shop gave me* when I asked for 0 rear toe and slight toe out in the front, and was told "don't worry they own sports cars they know what they're doing" (this alignment shop was recommended by someone with a drift car too)... No printout either.
Car is a 1500kg/3300lb Lexus IS250 (factory manual) with Cusco 2way and 14/10kg/mm coilovers. I've never had a drift alignment and not many other people drift the same car, so I don't have a clue what alignment changes *feel* like, to know how to improve my own car. I've driven an e46 with a welded diff, all adjustable arms, proper alignment etc and it felt on-rails when sideways whereas my car... doesn't, and sometimes spins with no warning when otherwise stable at the end of a corner (although that could be down to super uneven grip on wet practice days, and I can't hear the RPMs increase due to stock exhaust).

I have a license but it’s more for decoration. I’d like to be in the passenger seat and experience drifting, but I doubt I can just walk up to a driver and ask. How closed off is the community? Is it more like a IYKYK space?
Make my birthday dreams come true please!

Not my video from mlee211,
Am I the only one who thinks this is absolutely un-acceptable, borderline crazy, to purposefully contact someone outside of a chase?

Hey everyone, for a bit of context I’ve had a 1994 v6 Mustang that I drifted probably 10 times. Most of it was on a skid pad at a drag strip but this weekend I went to a real track for the first time. The real track was so much fun and I now want to get a good drift car.
It feels bad spending money on my v6 mustang when the engine will never be good and the car has rust holes. I’m thinking I could either get a 4.6l sn95 mustang and transfer all the upgrades I did to my v6 to the new one or I found an extremely clean and low mileage rx8 for dirt cheap. I love the idea of rotaries but thought they couldn’t be drifted because of the lack of torque. However there were a few people shredding with 4.77 gears at the event
From what I understand the Mustang has very cheap body and overall parts and has good potential for 400hp but the weight distribution is terrible and SRA isn’t the best.
The rx8 on the other hand has a great chassis with 50/50 weight distribution but the engine is maxed out at stock power levels with 240hp and very little torque. I’m honestly not concerned about reliability and I feel like the rotary is the better engine to bounce of the limiter safely.
I’d love to build an rx-8 but would the sn95 be the smarter move, what’s your opinion on both chassis ?

So I have been looking into my local drifting community and have become very interested in becoming more then an observer.
1: Mainly looking for opinions on what would be a good starting platform vehicle wise. Repairing and turning the car into a drift capable car is expected and definitely within my ability’s.
2: pointers for someone new to the sport and community
I’ve slung my cars around in an empty parking lot for fun but never really went further than that before. And before I just go spending money or anything I felt I should seek some advice from the community
