Sunday Funday!!!
I sincerely hope everybody had a fantastic weekend… I’ve got four shifts left and then I’m free for a week. I can’t wait!!!!
I will weigh myself tomorrow morning. I have a feeling this has been a good week. We shall see tomorrow but I’m quite happy with the progress so far.
Just to reiterate my routine, I am doing a 1500 to 1700 cal intake every day. I’m going to the gym six days a week and 30 minutes of dancing 30 minutes of weight training.
As of last Sunday, I’m down 60 pounds to a total weight of 260.4 and I’ve halfway to my goal of 200… Still a long road ahead, but the progress and the time has been quicker than anticipated so it’s very fulfilling
I hope everybody has a wonderful Sunday. Get some rest , put your feet up vibes at at all time high. I’m off to bed as I’m on Night Shift still… Until next time my friends!! 😎
Much Love ,
Bob.E.Bland ❤️❤️

Hi. I’m Tristan of Tristan BAMW.
I produced around 120 chart grade electropop bangers in 2 years time. I since began to make my own dances to them.
Hope you like it

And how much time do you think it will take to be that good? Or somewhat similar

One of the most common mistakes beginners make in Rumba is focusing on where to place their feet instead of understanding how their body weight moves.
A beautiful Rumba Walk begins with the standing leg, not simply stepping forward.
In this video, I'm demonstrating some of the fundamental techniques I emphasize when teaching Rumba.
5 Key Elements of a Rumba Walk:
1. Establish Your Standing Leg
Create stability and balance before initiating movement.
2. Use Floor Pressure
Push through the supporting foot to initiate the next movement.
3. Extend the Moving Leg
Keep the toe connected to the floor as the leg extends.
4. Transfer Your Weight
Move your body weight onto the new standing leg with control.
5. Connect Your Body Action
Allow the hip action to develop through coordinated leg movement and weight transfer.
The most important principle:
Don't simply place your foot. Understand how your body moves from one standing leg to the other.
As a Latin dance instructor, I often find that slowing down these fundamentals helps students develop better balance, control, and musicality.
I'm curious about other dancers' experiences:
Which part of the Rumba Walk do you find most challenging: foot pressure, weight transfer, or hip action?

Hi dancers! I Just found this sub and I'm excited to tap in!
I feel like I'm on the right track in terms of most elements of my practice, but something that's really holding me back is learning choreography quickly. I've tried out for a couple of professional teams and I feel like I can be a concise, energetic, and personality-filled dancer but its hard to show that because I take 2x as long to learn audition choreo than everyone else :') Even taking regular choreo classes at a studio, I find myself running into the same thing. When studios have a 2nd day of the same choreo from last week I'm usually able to come back and do the dance justice but that first time is hard to watch... Please help me! What are your tips? What's going on in your head that helps you learn faster?

Hi guys, I'm considering attending move it next year (probs for only 1 day) but am having serious doubts about whether I'm good enough to go, I'd go just by myself cause I don't go to a dance studio that does those events and I don't really have dance friends. I'm not that good of a dancer but I DO want to have it as my profession one day hopefully, which is often embarrassing to say cause well I kinda suck and have not been doing it that long lol. That being said I think going to something like move it would be very beneficial and fun and I know there's no specific requirements to go but I'm wondering if the environment is really toxic/competitive and if it's only worth while going if you're at an intermediate/advanced level and with other people? I went to CYD the one year and although I enjoyed some of the classes I ultimately just felt embarrassed as everyone was like 100x better than me. Any tips or advice or just any info on your experience at move it would be helpful
Im just a beginner if you want to see me progress you can find my videos from IG link: Instagram same @ on youtube and tiktok

Hello hello! Greetings, ✨fellow dancers and dance lovers! ✨ I am on a journey to learn a bit of every dance style possible! 🕺🕺I would love to get some suggestions and reccamendations of styles that would be fun to learn! 😆✨🎉 im open to anything!! I just cant spend any money on any props or shoes though 😅
Some info about me, since i am planning on getting more active on here, just a mini rant on me tho if u are interested:
I have always loved dance since i dicovered its sparkle. Im self taught haha, built off of “eh this feels right!” And youtube videos. ✨ i still got a long way to go, but i am so excited for the journey. Dance was a way i felt free, no matter how uncontrollable everything in life was, i had control of movement—- of expression through my body, that was my escape. Then i started to struggle with mental health, dpdr episodes kicked in, panic attacks, all that.. and i lost it. Dance no longer felt the same anymore.. so I had to take time. A lot of time.. but, i am on the road to recovery! And, i want to bring dance back into that road with me. As i grow mentally, so will my dance skills and variety!! :D
Thank you so much dear reader!! I hope you have a wonderous dayyaayayyayay!! 😆😆🎉🎉✨✨❤️❤️

Hello. I am a beginner at dancing and I like to learn choreographies by practicing at my local gym and watching dance choreography videos on youtube. I’ve recently been practicing the Mina Myoung choreography for 7 Rings: https://youtu.be/WfwV8vkIXvI?is=p5Wm7uzsOvJdW7NT. Any feedback, especially on movement cleanliness and detail would be really appreciated. Thank you so much!

I have a show 2 days from now but my whole body aches after my intense rehearsal. Now I cannot move very much due to muscle pain. What quick remedies could you suggest?
