WWW What’s Working and What Isn’t? | Friday, October 16, 2026 - Sunday, October 18, 2026

Discuss what you are playing, what you’re having success with(or failures with), and any new/cool ideas you’ve been experimenting with, etc. The point is to share what you’ve been playing, and how it’s going, good or bad - there are no other rules or requirements.

Some ideas on what to post/share:

  • What you’ve been playing and its successes (or struggles). Stats are not required. There is no minimum rank required, though sharing what rank you’ve been playing at is preferred.
  • Deck adjustments you made or are planning to make in reaction to the meta or as new innovation. E.g. “I saw 30% of deck X, so I made Y changes to help deal with deck X.” (change)
  • Showing off a deck you achieved legend with this season and wanting to share it without having to write a guide

Meet DustPlanner: a free HDT plugin that tells you what to disenchant (and why)

I got tired of guessing what to disenchant, so I made a free HDT plugin that plans it for me

Every time I wanted to build a new deck I ended up staring at the collection screen doing mental math. Do I need this golden? Is this rotating out? Am I going to regret dusting this epic next expansion? Half the time I dusted something I needed two weeks later.

So I built DustPlanner, a plugin for Hearthstone Deck Tracker. Pick one of your decks (or paste a deck code) and it tells you:

  • What you're missing and how much dust that is, compared to what you have
  • What to disenchant to get there, least painful copies first, with a reason for each one ("golden copy not used in any of your decks", "Wild-only card and you play Standard"...)
  • It never suggests cards from your saved decks, cards that show up in meta decks you paste in, or stuff the game won't let you dust (rewards, Core, event cards)
  • Alternatives if you don't like the first plan (no goldens, regular copies only...)
  • What's leaving Standard at the next rotation

When you actually dust the cards in game, it notices on the next sync and ticks the plan off.

Since I was already there, I also added:

  • Win rate by class, mode and format, read from your own game logs
  • A small OBS overlay (rank, session record, dust) if you stream

The important part: it never touches the game. No clicks, no memory reading, nothing automated. It only reads what HDT already knows and the log files Hearthstone writes on its own. You still do the disenchanting yourself. Everything runs locally on your PC and nothing gets uploaded.

Free and open source (MIT). Windows only, needs HDT. The exe isn't code-signed, so Windows might warn you the first time you run it.

It's a first release, so expect rough edges. Bugs, feedback and ideas are all welcome, especially if it ever suggests dusting something it shouldn't.
