To start with, I am not saying that there are nothing that I wish Blizzard would have go a different direction. For example, there are certain buttons of the revised interface that I wish is one click away instead of two or more, especially the ones we are likely to frequent the most (like quests), but even that is a neutral preference expressed on my end, without negative emotion being attached to it. In other words, I can express a preference or offer a suggestion that is neutral in tone without letting it become a complaint or grumble.

With that said, what we get as Hearthstone players (in no particular order) for free:

1. Standard reward tracks for each expansion that grant gold, packs of the said expansion, standard packs, tavern tickets (as one that hate arena who draft a deck and immediately resign, I still get a pack of the current expansion with some dust to boot), two legendaries (one at level 20 and the other at level 50 of the reward track), and extra gold for hitting extra levels beyond completing the reward track at level 100 (if someone would take the trouble to come out with a mathematical comparison comparing this extra gold with the ones that we used to have back in the old days: 10 gold for 3 wins, and even that is capped at 100 gold per day, that would be appreciated).

2. Weekly tavern brawls first win pack (one pack of the latest expansion)

3. Web shop login rewards (if I am not wrong, this is a weekly thing, and it is almost always in the form of packs)

4. Events reward tracks that grant packs

5. End of season chest reward (depending on your rank finish, grant some packs and cards)

6. Darkmoon faire treasure first spin for free (I have gotten packs before with the free spin, even golden one)

7. Black market (gotten packs before)

8. Twitch drop that grant packs (even as one that does not want to sit through the hours just to get the packs, for example the latest one requires 5 hours for 2 tavern tickets and 3 standard packs, I just open stream and sleep through the night and got the drops the next morning)

9. If you are new or returning player: catch-up packs and loaner decks.

For context, I picked the aura paladin for the current loaner deck. It is only 5 cards different from the meta version. I already have 1 x truthseeker and 2 x scarlet bruiser (both cards are common rarity) just by opening packs, and I only need to craft the remaining two cards (vigilant sentry, which are only rare cards).
