Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle! RwlRwlRwlRwl!
That's murloc for "Welcome to Murloc Mondays" - where people can ask any type of question about WoW without getting strangled by a Death Knight.
Questions can range from what's new in Dragonflight, what class is OP, and how many Demons will it take to down Thrall?
Questions can come from brand new players, players returning, or veteran players who never got a chance to ask the right question.
Afraid of not getting an answer? Rest assured, we know that at least 90% of questions get answered!
You may want to look at /r/wownoob as well!
Here are some handy guides to start World of Warcraft as a brand new player or start Classic World of Warcraft as a brand new player.
Unless you played in the current expansion, pretty much everything has changed. If you're returning after a very long break, check out the Wowhead Returning Players Guides.

Hi everyone,
I want to talk about a problem in Services chat on WoW Retail.
The problem:
few accounts (5-6 that I’ve noticed) seem to control Services chat completely. They post the same message every 2–3 seconds, which buries every other message. Nobody else can advertise there.
My experience:
Why I think this happens:
The silence system is automated and depends on player reports. It looks like this small group have access to many account and mass-report anyone who tries to advertise next to them, so the system silences the victim, while the real spammers stay untouched for months, maybe years.
My suspicion (not proof):
They may be farming gold this way and selling it, since they seem to be the only ones allowed to profit from the chat.
What I’m asking:
If you see these spam messages in Services chat, please report them for Spam/Advertising. You don’t need to do anything extra, just use the normal report button. The system is driven by reports, so honest reports can help balance it out.
If you’re worried they’ll find out who reported them, they can’t. Reports are anonymous unless the game leaks something, and we can’t know that. At least we did what we could.
Please, just one click. It costs you nothing.
If you see the spam in Services chat, right-click it, choose Report, then Spam/Advertising. Once is enough, no need to do it every day. Right now 4-5 accounts control the whole channel, and nobody else can advertise even one legit message. If everyone who reads this reports once, the chat can be usable again for all of us.
Forget about patch bugs, the Midnight epic edition transmog is still like this on some races.

I would like to see a person hide under my dinner table as well as my black cat can. Feral devs must have never owned a cat.

In honour of a hero's death and the vague maybe truce.
I made this because a friend suggested it be drawn and I decided to do a bad cut and paste job instead. I should have switched the heads around. I don't care, it's funny.
Please, Blizzard, for the sake of the rpers, can we slow things down? Heck there's been a lot of life events this xpac.

Party member using reflecting prism was an orc male, looks like it put my female trolls skin on his model. He also used the item right as my casting animation was done, no idea how easily re-creatable this is with others but uh. yeah. Im not sleeping tonight.

Anyone else just very dissapointed with this months trading post? Its Halloween time and fall and you can do so much cool stuff for this month and we get... Bandit outfits? Bandit outfits? What? Why? Out of all the things you could put your fantasy to you do this? These outfits could have been in any month and we get them on Halloween month. I'm kinda sad man I wish they made some use. We got some masks I guess and some mount reskins..

Honestly it's like RuneScape 3 community all over again who just destroyed a unique server I feel like the classic community here is doing the same thing. They're doing everything in their power to destroy this and make it classic which it's not it's wow forever.
I cleared all 9 tier-11 chambers as a solo mage. A lot of them twice due to previous bugs. It was a bunch of work over hours.
I got to Kindo'jan. I took a flask, applied all the raid buffs, ready to burn through my attempts to hopefully get the Let Me Solo Him Achievement.
I did 3 attempts and it got to bed time. I logged out, but hey, this is literally marketed as a thing that you can play as your own pace, figured I'd pick back up tomorrow.
Turns out that was a fucking lie, when I logged back in I'm outside the Labyrinth. I went back in - no chambers completed, would have to start over from the beginning. I didn't even get to go to the treasure room for my previous 9-chamber tier 11 clear.
I feel like I'm being punished for being excited about this content and trying to clear it. This has been a completely miserable experience for someone who tries really hard to stay positive about the current state of the game.
Just wanted to share. Achieved the 50k mark yesterday.
Started playing on WOTLK, off times every now and then. At the end of Dragonflight i just started collecting stuff for Taivan with something around mid 20k achievement points and somehow i kept attached to it. Lets see how far it will go

You all talk as if the Alliance still has the same leaders it’s always had.
Varian is dead, and Anduin is just a shadow of his former self.
Malfurion and Tyrande are no longer the leaders of the Night Elves, and Shandris doesn’t have half the charisma they do.
The dwarves are led by a trio, and Moira’s son, the supposed future king of the dwarves, is just a teenager. The only person with less charisma than him is Arator, who manages the impressive feat of being a 40-year-old bore who acts like a 17-year-old.
Genn Greymane has effectively retired and vanished, and Tess Greymane isn’t even a Worgen.
Velen is the only Draenei who has been truly relevant to the story since Maraad’s death, a death that served merely as a stepping stone to build up Yrel, only for her to be discarded into a secondary Horde questline just to justify an Allied Race.
Mechagnomes are a bad joke.
Jaina and Velen are the only ones among the current Alliance leadership worth anything, much like Thrall and Lor'themar on the Horde side.
The Lightforged Draenei are led by a human, which is ridiculous; it completely erases their own agency and hands the spotlight over to yet another human.
So, in this regard, I actually agree with the Horde players. By the Light, I hope Turalyon dies, maybe then Blizzard will finally make Captain Fareeya the leader of the Lightforged, give her a proper character model, and provide her with at least some focus and development. I’m so tired of this whole "Light and Shadow family" soap opera; the entire Alliance storyline has revolved solely around Turalyon and Alleria ever since Legion.

Sargeras.
This is some shit I would have expected out of someone like Dimensius. But here you have this giant void monster throwing hands with a space god . The balls it takes to do that. Respect to whoever the hell this void dude is.
Edit: Heres the link to Nobbel's stream covering this lorewalking scenerio

Everyone’s definitions of “lucrative” or “worthwhile” are likely to vary, but I was very pleased to hear of a friend of mine getting 10 bars of Xp, from 82-83 via a single, rested tier 1 run of the labyrinth last night.
As someone who heavily prizes and prioritizes personally instanced leveling content, this feels like a good option as an “82-87” bridge between doing all delves and turning in all quests if I don’t want to do prey on a certain alt.
It’s certainly not the fastest route, but again I will tolerate huge hits to my optimal time efficiency to fully own my time in instanced content, and not have to sit in queue or do open world questing on specs less suited for it.
Now comes the wait to let the labyrinth finish baking and be fully bug-fixed! This is why I let my friends test these things haha!

I've been trying to do the labyrinth, but I noticed Valeera is dying as tank on almost every pull. She will come close to dying on even a single mob.
On pull she gets a dot which ticks for 37.5k damage. Based on the tooltip, it's supposed to tick for that every half-second Instead it ticks about every quarter seconds, if not faster.
The dot is supposed to last for 9 seconds but it seems like the countdown isnt consistent. Sometimes it just hangs at the 9 second mark before ticking down.
So after killing a mob, I've counted, she'll tick for 37400 dmg every quarter second for the remaining 4-5 seconds after each pull. It's about 25 to 40 ticks depending on how fast I down a pack. Even with 2M hp as tank, she'll go down fast.
On another toon, she didnt have this bug and ticked for only like 1400 dmg a tick.
The difficulty between those that have the bug and those that dont is immense.
Edit: The debuff is called Scar of Kathra'natir. I think it ticks for as high as 37490. On my bugged run every pull had it tick for that same amount 4 times a second. On other runs, the dot decreases down to somewhere around 2k per tick
Edit 2: To clarify, on EACH pull, the DoT Scar of Kathra'natir appears on her. It ticks 40 times, 4 times a second for 10 seconds for ~1.5 million dmg. (40 x 37490)
That is 1.5 million damage per pull over 10 seconds while she is still tanking the hits from rest of the pull. She is at level 80. I am a 323 frost mage. I was still able to finish, it just took awhile. Changing her to dps didnt help. It's the dot that kills her, and that appears on her as tank or dps.
I'm not able to recreate the bug, but it has appeared on several of my alts, all casters.
Im guessing what the dot is SUPPOSED to do is start off ticking at 37490 and then decrease to like 2k every half second. Instead it ticks at only the highest amount and at twice the rate.
