Guns & Ammo If you only pick one
Like it says if you could only pick one of this bunch what would be the preferred and better option

I made a post earlier today about my Barnes 9mm coming apart. It got me curious. So I went through checking all of my sd rounds loaded in my mags and this is the condition of my Hornady CDs. I’m genuinely confused at this point. I literally have no idea how this is happening. More than half the rounds I checked are ‘loose’. I don’t unload and reload these. They stay where they are, and hopefully I never have to use them…but at this point, I’m tossing everything but my Speer dot golds WTF

My EDC; S2C stays in the safe on most days but the rest is always with me. Incredibly happy with the S2C anyway, so far 1660 rds (yes, counting each and every rd) without a single hiccup. Mostly 124g S&B. All stock except for the grips from JustGrips.

Wilson Combat EDC X9, Glock 48, Staccato C2. If you can only keep 2, Which one is best for EDC, which one to relegate as backup and what to dispose?

tier 1 concealed are my favorite holsters. just bought this camo holster for my mc9 prime. the storm trooper looking one for my glock 43x
Was inserting my mag and realized the first round was loose in its casing. It didn’t take much force to separate. The lead easily came right out of the shell. This is not from re-chambering. I usually keep one in the chamber, and this is the next in line/first in the mag. I’m not saying that this round just sits there untouched, but it’s not like I took a pair of pliers to make this happen….I bought these for winter carry bc I liked how it looked (stupid I know) but I’m going to stick with my critical duty and Speer now…

I’m an older male with one concealed carry gun…a Shadow Systems CR920 with Holosun optic and light. No matter how many times I go to the range for practice…I can’t shake the fear of having a cocked striker with a round in the chamber pointed at my delicate parts (front inside waist band carry) so i don’t chamber a round and the striker isn’t cocked. This leaves me at a known and concerning disadvantage should I need a quick discharge.
I’ve been told to just get used to it and trust the trigger safety, but I still am not comfortable with it.
I long for something like an Sig Sauer P320 x compact with DA/SA and a decocker so I can feel comfortable and have a round chambered and ready to fire with longer DA first pull. Am I alone in this wish? Might a P229 Nitron Compact work despite its added weight and width? Are there other options you’d recommend?
Thanks!

How long do these usually last for before they need another charge ?
First time putting a light on any gun that I’ve owned but, from the reviews and stuff I’ve read streamlight seems to be the gold standard so hopefully this one will do me some good

Looking to AIWB my CSX with a mastermind tactics pillow.
Vedder or T1C? I’m not a fan of vedders single clip but I hear good things about them. I also plan to get the discrete clips on the T1C. Not sure if it’s worth the xtra money though.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I need to fully tuck in a dress shirt without clips showing over my belt.
A dress shirt is not a T-shirt; you need a full 2 or 3 inches of space between the holster and where it meets the clip for it to tuck. (Many "tuckable" options, like the Ulticlip XL mounted mid-holster, will only accommodate a T-shirt in terms of depth. That won't fit the bill here.)
The Philster Enigma "garter belt" option isn't a great fit, as I need to remove the holster frequently. I cannot have clips showing over the belt, full stop, so something like the RapidTuck isn't a fit either.
I have a solution now that uses a single UltiClip 3, which sort of works, but the single clip isn't a robust enough anchor point. I think it needs two on either side so I don't risk the holster coming out of my pants on the draw.
A two-clip IWB holster with low-mounted clips, like the Falco Hamilton (just for example), where you swap the stock clips for UltiClip 3s, would seem to fit the bill. (The 3s, unlike the XLs, have enough depth to tuck in a dress shirt.)
I've noticed a lot of hate on UltiClips on here (especially from people who have stretched them out by incorrectly clipping them over their belts... cough...), so I wanted to get your options before I wasted any more money on holsters.
Thanks for giving this a look.

Looking for a nice firm EDC belt for appendix carry that’s not tactical looking. What are y’all running?

Heard bad reviews of the hc that it would loosen. The claims on the hc website are compelling. If the core essentials works with joggers I’d rather that.

EDIT: LOOKS LIKE AN UNDER-THE-GARMENT BELT- OR LINER-BASED SOLUTION IS THE ANSWER THAT WILL WORK BEST FOR ME. THANKS, EVERYONE, FOR YOUR THOUGHTFUL REPLIES.

I’m just yapping.
Gun owner since 2025 and also CCW since 2025. I basically got a gun just for CCW. Been training here and there with my P365 and the membership at the range helps but I don’t go as often lately. Probably shot 2000+ rounds since. I thought ammo was cheap like 23cents but wholly crap you go through them fast.
When I first got the gun and the CCW the wifey questioned it. Why this why that. Having a gun was ok for the house but the CCW was questioned.
I’m up for renewal next year and I ask my wife if I should bother renewing it. Instead of questioning why it has now become my choice.
I question the need for it now. I’m in Southern California. Got kids. Got a home. Got regular 8-5 office job. I took it to work maybe once (locked in a doj box in a car) Mostly carry on the weekends or when I meet up with someone to sell something.
Anyhow… I will renew in 2027 because although my wife doesn’t say it directly…. The fact that she seems more comfortable with it is telling me it’s good to have with me in the event the family is with me. But if she’s out there own her own…. She won’t even touch a gun. That’s life.
Still waiting to get home gun (hoping for a full size Glock since they are reliable) but for now all I have is the sig and hope to never use it.
Edit: at least when I renew next year it will be good for 3 years. Perfect timing.

So I got this holster with the S&W MP 2.0 3.6 inch barrel with a TLR 7X light. The parts idk is whether this is an open carry holster or in the waistband holster cause the huge clip hanger does not help with concealment at all. It still bulges out as if I got something, so I hanged it outside and seems ok but a bit loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
