The question was "How will the server browser tie into matchmaking? For example, will matchmaking put you in the same persistent servers as those listed on the browser? And will community servers (within a certain ruleset) be included in matchmaking pool?"

Title. It’s a genuine question in good faith. Why is it a bad thing for wanting a cohesive design of two distinct teams?

Before anyone says, “well you can’t see it? Who cares?“

Do you realize how many times I’ve looked at an enemy not realizing it was an enemy. The amount of times an enemy runs right past me, can only see there legs, or only half their uniform, have no idea of enemy or friendly. This has happened an insane amount.

Before anyone says “it’s only skins, it doesn't change anything” ….wrong.

Imagine if FIFA (EA FC) one day allowed custom jerseys per player. This would result in teams being unrecognizable, which would result in requiring a UI fix like team colored borders around players. Resulting in a worse product. It’s not hard to understand the issue here.

So I ask again, why is it not okay for Battlefield, a team based game, which had distinct factions and teams for years, not have distinct looking teams? Why is it okay to eat up this slop while ruining a cohesive design?

anyone notice that on Vegas strip map when looking down the scope of a sniper rifle no where near water, your scope gets wet and the image distort? so annoying. I’m indoors for goodness sake.

What is actually going on since the last update? Every update they seem to solve one or two things, fix none of the issues since day one, pile in some shitty skins and add more bugs.

In the last week :-

Joining games it just stops searching and takes atleast 4 attempts to join a game, minimum. If i turn cross play off, after 5 minutes there is no more than 10 people in que. Even worse on redsec. After 10 minutes there were 3...

Im getting killed through buildings/ landscape, not just walls or damageable cover.

Playing cross play games, i can empty half to a full mag into someone with majority hit markers for them to turn around and kill me in a fraction of what i shot them with and they still have loads of health.

In a match just, i used an anti tank missile and hit 4 shots for it still to have health. The driver got out and i got the drop on them emptying most of an SMG mag in close quarters before they even found me again, to be killed again in a fraction of what i just shot them with, and they still had 62 health. Same match dropped back in and got a tank to be shot and killed by 2 RPGs at the front. No where near the shots/ damage it took me to nearly kill a tank.

Im getting beamed from LONG range by SMGs, yet 2 or 3 shots from a sniper at the same range and they still have health left. That doesnt even make any sense.

In redsec, a large portion of the times im not even getting downed. Ill hear 2 maybe 3 hits and thats it im fully dead.

Im getting visual bugs way more often! Recent matches i was in everything kept going yellow, then partial black screen, back to yellow. Then in another buildings kept appearing and disappearing. Then pixilated characters, as if they were made on roblox.

Sounds arent working properly. Could hear their footsteps, but not the zipline they used literally right next to me, or when parachuting near by, so people just seemed to magically appear.

Recon equipment not detecting movement at all even though theyre running around, so they dont display on the minimap when they absolutely should.

UAV cutting out literally the second it comes into the map, not even getting shot down just insta vanishing.

Then adding in all the crap they said from day dot that they would never do to stay "grounded" yet theyre basically turning it into COD like a team of sellouts, but dont fix most of the constant issues thatve been happening since release.

I know its not my internet as i have a 1000gb package that in peak times im still getting 6-700gb, so my internet is absolutely fine and im using series x so its hardly slow. What the hell is going on since the update? Its genuinely making the game unplayable and miserable.

Greetings to everyone, from battledads to tryharders. As usual, I’m here in search of peace and to share a thought—whether you agree with it or not.

Let me start by saying that everyone is free to play however they want, that the game has known issues (weapon and class balance, netcode, and maps), and above all, Battlefield isn’t a milsim.

As a longtime fan (I started playing BFBC2 when I was 12), I’m a bit disappointed by the direction the game is taking, especially in terms of aesthetics. I fully understand that there are new players or people with different tastes, but I think it’s a shame that the game has lost its visual identity. Although the game is objectively a military-style arcade title, I’ve always found it to be a good middle ground—offering a milsim feel but with the lightheartedness of an arcade game—so it’s a great military setting where, if a tank hits you with a 120mm shell, a medic can calmly come and revive you without any fuss. It’s true that “grounded” skins were introduced in previous seasons, but I think it’s fair to say that we’ve once again ended up with “hero” soldiers like BF2042—with soldiers from both factions who are essentially indistinguishable, as the only real difference is swapping their patches from PAX to NATO. At the end of the day, we have heroes running around the map fighting for the two factions without any real visual identity. I hate to sound nostalgic, but in the old games it was a whole different story, and I miss that.The same applies to vehicles. Objectively speaking, for EA, offering this combination of in-game store and season pass is the easiest way to make money with little effort—especially if there are "whales" around who spend a lot of money.

I hope that in the future there will be a project that can rival the Battlefield franchise and that retains that authentic yet arcade-style war experience that made us fall in love with it.

I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say in this short speech. Play whatever you want, however you want, and with whatever skin you want. Go in peace.

There is literally no reason to use any sniper other than the Interdictor. Why does it get 99 damage anywhere on the body from any range? Why would I ever even touch the new ELR40 when I'm hitting guys for 60?

And why isn't this called out anywhere other than in patch notes?

Does anyone have suggestions for good hipfire LMG builds I can use in this event as a support role?

I love the current one I use but it’s built for mid range behind the line combat which doesn’t do well against melee hordes.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Quest for all camoflages continues.

I don't usually like PvE but this mode is really fun to play, doesn't take a lot of time, map aesthetic is crazy, the hallucination effect is really cool with the zombified allies and the battle pickup is very satisfying to use and I wonder if its available in conquest or escalation.

Is anyone else having issues with this gadget, it only seems to work in about 1 in 20 games, most of the time you fire it but nothing happens at all, so frustrating
