Honestly, this season so far had me going crazy over Area 51, great great map. But the Las Vegas one was “Meh” at starts. But oh boy oh boy, I just had an absolutely phenomenal conquest match rn and I just finally understood the map.

Props to Dice, I am loving this season so far!

Also DICE please get Johan söderqvist and Patrick andren back on your payroll because are easily the best composers BF has had

ALSO, it's gotta have an animation to crack open the armored vehicle so the driver/gunner has some time to notice you. Maybe unfair for it to be instant. Not too long, or else it would be useless too.

For the Unarmored, the jump scare of somebody climbing onto your vehicle should be enough

Escalation is a top mode, I think it's saved the game.

As a young unc or an old nephew (29), hopping on for a few hours after work is a lot of fun. Especially the Vortex breakthrough server on portal. I see a lot of complaints here so let me be a point of difference!

Casual Breakthrough is great for experimenting with different weapons, especially if you don’t have time to level everything because of work. Nothing beats finding a full server with players who PTFO.

The headshot sound is literally perfect. Dopamine dispenser for sure.

Levelling up the Battlepass feels awesome!

Sure there are a few issues like TTK is pretty quick, but it’s a rush to experiment with these new maps.

Also the area 51 Easter egg is so sick!!

I think a bit of perspective is needed. Take a break from BF6 and come back. It’s still battlefield, and it’s still fun

So the Dead Space skin is for Strix Raiders/Al-Khatib, which is greyed out for me. Does that mean i can never equip it?

With the garbage ass fake matchmaker putting you in lobbies that take 2+ minutes to start, its such a pain that they take this time to burn down your boosters. spending 20% of the booster waiting for people to join the lobby. What a freaking joke greedy ass devs

I know this game has been out for a while but I just wanna say how good the dualsense is implemented, on pc as well. The haptics and triggers are crazy but the standout feature i loved was the speaker. I could listen to the radio chatter while airborne and also "pull up" from the TAWS of the jets. So cool!!

GUNNERS - ANY TIME YOU HOP INTO A BRADLEY OR STRF - PLEASE ALWAYS SWITCH YOUR WEAPONS TO SEE IF YOUR DRIVER HAS THE LASER DESIGNATOR.

The amount of people in this game that are oblivious a whole YEAR after it released is remarkable.

How do so many people still not understand that I need them to paint the helicopter that is locking on to us so that I can lock on to it to take it out or to force it to fly away to cover?!

I will literally say in the chat “gunner plz switch to ur secondary weapon and paint the helicopter for me so I can lock onto it.”

Yet they just sit in the gunner seat firing an LMG at it when it’s quite literally 500meters away, and clearly doesn’t care at all about how little damage it’s taking.

Then boom.

We’re both dead. Or they jump out like pussies and run if I’m severely damaged, but not destroyed.

Some of them will even be engineers and they’ll run off and not even repair.

It’s the worst on Vegas Strip conquest.

I just left a match where one of my team mates used the attack heli as a transport heli and discarded it when he got to where he wanted to go. Then the enemy team hopped in it and then the whole match the other team had TWO ATTACK HELIS.

Like I can’t even get out of Spawn because two enemy choppers are just taking runs at me, undeterred, while the AA gun in the middle of the map is under control of the enemy team and has a clear sight line directly into my spawn.

And then I have to somehow type in chat to the guy in my gunner seat. Which is painful as fuck and slow.

Yet here I am I asking in the team text chat for someone, literally ANYONE on the team to paint the fucking helicopters.

And best I can get is two different guys jump in my gunner seat, and just go “durrrr machine gun go BRRRRRR”.

I literally explained in chat how to laser designate. But no. They then get out of the vehicle when I’m in cover waiting for the super delayed repair to kick in, and they’re just shooting at me because they want me to Leroy Jenkins into our deaths while I’m asking them to paint the god damn helicopters for me.

Like just paint the fucking helicopters. I can literally move when they’re painted. I’m level 200 in an IFV. Before this update I could literally just switch seats and do it myself. But theyve now nerfed vehicles super hard, so now I can’t be a one man show in those lobbies where no one knows how to do anything.

And before anyone says the laser designator is back to how it always was in previous battlefields…

Yeah, that’s good and all, but why is it that Engineers still have the fastest RPG reload speed in franchise history, can carry 5 rounds, while also carrying 3 anti tank mines, while ALSO carrying the repair tool?

This update made the imbalance so insanely worse.

Hell.

Even the pilots can just switch seats and pop flairs and use alternate weapon systems no problem.

Yet I can’t even shoot my turret in defence or else it pauses my repair. And every engineer in my gunner seat just jumps out and runs for their moms as soon as we take like a hit.

We really need in game team proximity chat, because the amount of people who have the text chat window turned off in this game is really hurting team communication.

Like if you are in a vehicle with someone you should be able to talk to each other no matter if you’re in a squad with them or not.

DICE - Please give us prox chat.

GUNNERS - Please don’t just forget you have a brain and shoot the LMG across the map like a total imbecile while two helicopters are locking onto you. Check to see if your driver has a laser designator or has been asking you in the chat to use the fucking laser designator.

Sorry for the rant. This has just gotten so frustrating over the past few days.

This guy clearly flared in time because every flare was popped yet the missile still went after him.

And dont start with this "AFTERBURNER IS HOT" bullshit, this is not a mechanic in this game and if you think it is - you are beyond saving. Whats next? Netcode is great and we are just shooting blanks? Footstep audio was good but we couldn't hear shit because our characters are wearing ear protection? This is the same type of excuse lol.

I dare you to write some more bullshit instead of admitting that flare bug is a thing and it shouldn't work like that, Im waiting for some hot takes in the comments.
