[Star Trek: The Next Generation: "Déjà Q"] If the Borg assimilated Q (as a human mortal) after he took residence aboard the Enterprise 1701-D, would the Borg have access to the vital secrets of the Q Continuum?
I know he said he had an IQ of 2005, and he clearly has his memories of nigh-omniscience and nigh-omnipotent reality warping and the Continuum at large, so I'm guessing it would be a bad day for the Q if the Borg showed up.

[Bladerunner & Cyberpunk (2020, Red, 2077, etc.)] Which Is A Worse World to Live In? Bladerunner Earth or Cyberpunk Earth? Spoiler
I know they're both extremely similar, to the point where it seems like some people just walked from one universe to the other without noticing, but after looking closer it seems like the Cyberpunk-verse would actually be the preferable place to live? Am I wrong about this?
In the world of Bladerunner by the time of 2049 Earth seems to be almost completely uninhabitable and someone expresses surprise at being given a piece of real wood. Meanwhile in the Cyberpunk world, yes it's true that their Earth has been devastated by war & climate change, but even in 2077 the area around Night City seems to be fairly livable despite the desertification. There's visible plant life and we can find both nomad communities and various small towns surviving outside city limits.
It seems like the common people in the world of Cyberpunk are also at least a bit more content, expressive, or even happy. Where as in Bladerunner Earth it seems like everyone is miserable as hell 24/7.
There's also the fact that Cyberpunk Earth has an abundance of cybernetic tech that can potentially allow regular people to rise above their current status in life, or at least allow them to modify their bodies to fit their ideal self-image, which I imagine would help improve people's morale if nothing else. Though it also has a lot of downsides, it's hard to deny the usefulness of cyberware.
So what do y'all think? Am I right in concluding that the world of Cyberpunk is the better place to live? Or does the world of Bladerunner have some hidden upsides that I'm missing?

[Frieren] What information is contained within grimoires to teach you magic?
The mechanical aspect of magic here seems left intentionally vague, but it seems clear that knowledge is a core aspect of magic, but also visualization is a key thing that's repeated a lot. What information would you be receiving from a grimoire?
Something that makes this combo a little confusing is that for instance washing clothes with magic is considered legendary magic, and we can infer its like a lost art. What's difficult about the visualization and execution of using magic to wash clothes such that this could be fixed by reading a grimoire?

[Star Trek] Can you kill a Borg drone by overheating it with repeated phaser fire if the drone has adapted to the phaser?
Due to conservation of energy, the energy from the phaser fire must go somewhere and if the Borg drone personal shield absorbs the phaser energy, its temperature must increase. At some point wouldn't the drone just die from being cooked?

[Codename: Kids Next Door] What was up with that turnip farmer?
Three calls him her grandpa. Nigel says he isn't. The farmer doesn't confirm or deny it. Also, was growing the giant turnip an act of malice or was he just a half-senile old fool who was oblivious to the trouble it was causing?

[Batman/DC/Criminology] If Batman was in charge of solving various popular serial killer cases, would he have succeeded faster than the police force in their respective regions?
I know Batman doesn't operate outside of Gotham, but I was thinking, America has had tons of serial killers. Especially in the 70s-80s. Had Batman been active and pursuing the leads, would he have solved most of these cases easily?
Like, Zodiac was NEVER caught. Guys like BTK were caught more than a decade after their confirmed kill.
Basically, would Batman also hit a dead end with these cases or would the greatest detective solve them with ease?

[Big Hero 6] How do the inventions in this clip actually do things? Also, why are they using descriptive subjective terms?
Nerd Lab
As in, how does GoGo manage to get the energy to power the bike and how does she make it have zero friction with the ground if the ground isn’t made with mag-lev in mind and how do the wheels not fall off easily and what if it picks other metal things off the ground? How does Wasabi get magnets like that and what exactly is controlling the positions of the plasma and how is it not burning things near it? How does Honey Lemon have liquid pure cobalt, and how is she not exploding things and how does she push that weight of tungsten carbide of 400 lbs and how is it becoming brittle?

[Buddy (2026)] How did George and Willie evade Buddy for decades?
George was wearing clothes way too small for him, indicating he escaped as a child. Assuming he's even close to the same age as his actor, he would have been on the run for something like 50 years. Just how large is the landscape around Buddy's compound?

[Mortal Kombat] Why Does Raiden Keep The Tournament a Secret?
Raiden is the protector of Earthrealm, tasked with finding and training the fighters who will represent our realm in the Mortal Kombat tournament.
In pretty much every iteration of this story though, Raiden does his work in secret, recruiting fighters one by one. Why has he never attempted to cooperate with governments or martial arts organizations to help facilitate his quest?
He has no qualms about proving his godhood to individuals to convince them of his cause, why not do so through an organization that has the means and resources to seek out and train the very best fighters? The most elite professional fighters require significant infrastructural support to compete at their best, from training camps, to nutritionists, to specialized coaches.
Even if Raiden doesn't trust governments, surely he has the power to organize his own group to better protect his fighters. Raiden's fighters are constantly getting ambushed by the forces of Outworld and other belligerents, why not keep a standing army to guard against this so his fighters can focus on training and preparation?
Earthrealm seems kind of singular in this. Every other realm we've seen that's been pulled into Mortal Kombat seems to have a realm-wide awareness that this is happening. If the people of Earth knew that their fates depended on a group of warriors competing on their behalf, surely society would go a long way to making sure they have everything they need to fight at their best.

[Star Wars] Star Wars has one currency across thousands of worlds. Who's setting interest rates?
The Republic credit is accepted across a huge number of systems, yet we never hear about anyone managing inflation or money supply across economies that must be wildly different. Real currency unions struggle with a couple of dozen countries sharing one currency. Foundation touches on interstellar money, and The Expanse mostly avoids it. Has any scifi universe made galactic money feel believable to you?

[Better Call Saul] was the shrink's number Jimmy offered to Howard a real, legitimate shrink, or was it another Saul ploy?
The phone number Jimmy gave to Howard in the bathroom when Howard mentioned he has insomnia. The one Jimmy eventually rips apart and flush down the toilet.
P.S I also don't remember where he got the shrink's number from or who that shrink is meant to be.

[GTA 5] What exactly was Michael's financial situation at the start of the game?
When the story finds Michael in 2013, he's living in a McMansion in Los Santos with two bratty kids and a wife who all are spoiled brats who take an externally lavish lifestyle for granted, not to mention his own taste for cigars, whiskey, and boats; on top of that he's also paying Dave Norton $10k+ a month as hush money. However before he pulls down Mr. Madrazo's deck he doesn't seem particularly stressed for money, Jimmy buys a guady overpriced luxury SUV on his father's card, and Michael seems to only be mad about being scammed rather than that his unemployed son who almost never leaves his room is adding another $1k+ to the monthly bill. We know based on the jewel store payout that Madrazo needed 2.5 million for the repairs so Michael has less than 2.5m in savings. Why exactly isn't he stressing about money if his 2008 nestegg was barely enough to last his family 5 years? He can only realistically have enough savings to last himself a year or so before not being able to buy Davey's silence, and also not meeting the mortage payments on his house; and he doesn't really seem like the kind of guy to roll up his sleeves and start working at Cluckin Bell to support his family that all hate him.

[Star Trek] How did Earth Solve the Middle East?
I'm curious because thinking about it we really don't see anyone from the middle east. In our timeline it's prettymuch not a solvable problem. I just want to emphasize this is about Earth in the Trek universe, not ours, in the period between WWIII and the start of Enterprise.
What I recall from the canon is that they had WWIII, and then a version of the EU ended up slowly becoming the one world government. Once they discovered the Vulcans Earth spent a brief period rebuilding and then went straight to founding the Federation.
We don't hear about terrorism, regional instability and extremists and so on on Earth. We don't hear about warlords or religious conflicts. If anything, religion is mostly dead somehow. It's basically paradise, according to Sisko. So what happened? Did everyone get replicators and decide wars were lame?

[MCU] How do civilians know details of Endgame?
This question first popped up in my head watching WandaVision, when they basically powerscale Captain Marvel and Wanda (not Scarlet Witch yet) saying that they both had chances of defeating Thanos 1v1, but the characters having that chat were nowhere near the battle. Then in Love and Thunder there is the ice cream place with the gauntlet, and in VisionQuest, a character mentions Thanos looking like a ballsack.
My question is, how do these people know such details? Were the Avengers just trauma dumping every chance they got?

[Marvel/DC/Invincible] So what are other supervillians doing, whenever there is a big villain destroying the city?
For example, what was The Order doing, when the Marks or Viltramites were destroying the city? Or what are Batman villains doing when the Joker causing chaos? What is Lex Luther thinking whenever there is a major Metahuman/Alien attack. I could use a lot of examples here.
I ask this question. Because some Supervillians are World Leaders, CEOs, Mob Bosses, etc. So I assume more organized Supervillians wouldn't be fans of other villains causing chaos. Especially when Supervillians aren't being hold back by morals. Unlike the Superheroes. Therefore someone can take anyone out, if they think ate bad for business.

[Buffy the Vampire Slayer] When Buffy temporarily dies and Kendra becomes a slayer, why didn’t the Watchers Council inform Giles?
I mean, the Council was highly organized. They received regular reports from Giles about Buffy, so they knew she was still alive. And they knew Kendra was also a slayer, because they assigned a Watcher to her. So, they definitely knew there were two simultaneous slayers.
Why not inform Giles that there was a second slayer? Why not inform him that Kendra was coming to Sunnydale? Why not inform Kendra that the first slayer was still alive? Lack of information can lead to chaotic results, which one would think the Council would prefer to avoid.
Is it possible that the Council was unhappy with Buffy’s way of handling herself, and hoped that Kendra might kill her, leaving one more-easily-controlled slayer?
