I recently got back into sketching and am seeking a friend or two who is also into sketchbooks to help with motivation, accountability, and to share resources such as interesting tutorials, challenges, drills, and references. Most of my references lately have been from various draw-me/my pet type Subreddits. I really want to get back to finishing sketchbooks since I've only finished a handful despite many years of drawing and many sketchbooks started and abandoned for various reasons. Currently hopping between a variety of sketchbooks.

Preference would be for another traditional artist. I've mostly been working in ballpoint pen and graphite lately.

I mostly draw animals but have been working on and off on my human portraiture. I've also been trying to re-learn some of the fundamentals like perspective and anatomy.

I love drawing hands. They are more forgiving than feet. Carving out forms onto a paper is fun to me and bringing it to life. Even if it's a slow and meticulous process. But it's enjoyable.
