Came across this Ken figure from the new street fighter movie. However the torso seems to be a shirt rather than just a shirtless torso. And a GI Joe Classified crotch piece? If anyone could identify the torso by any chance that could be great, just don’t understand the reasoning behind this swap (if it is at that) Also should be noted that it was fully taped up.

I recently got my first grading done. JSA for the autographs and CGA for the figures. One got a 9.0 rating in a standard case with JSA certificate card sent back. The other got a 9.25 with the JSA certificate displayed inside in a custom case. Which would you keep vs sell? Same figure same autographs.

I have a lot to say about Fext Hobby’s new line, but I figured I’d start by sharing some changes I made to Jack!
I don’t know much about Acid Rain’s lore, but judging by his loadout, Jack seems like a pistol specialist. I’ve always imagined pistol specialists being fast and nimble, so I decided to free him from the exoskeleton by swapping his arms and lower body with Buck’s!
One thing I don’t understand is why they decided to limit the neck articulation so much in Wave 2. I ended up swapping his neck peg with Thane’s, which gave him some much-needed movement. I feel like they cut back a little too much here.
Then there’s the belt, which I ordered from Etsy. Personally, I think Fext’s belts are pretty lazy. They’re bulky and hinder too much articulation, even with the pouches removed. In my headcanon, all that bulk would just slow Jack down.
And finally, those new ball-pegged hands are horrible! I really hope they reengineer them for Wave 3. For now, I’ll mostly be swapping them out with Operation Monster Force hands.
Overall, I like what Fext Hobby is doing with this line, but some of these engineering decisions are questionable.
Anyone else customizing these figures? Or am I the only one who thinks they sacrificed too much articulation in Wave 2?

Has anyone ever heard of or shopped in this store? I had a brief conversation with a seller on EBay and checked their websites for a pre sale figure but I never heard of them before. Shop has been around since 2004 and has really positive reviews on eBay overall. Their website seems legit too but idk anyone ever bought from them?

I've been getting more interested in miniature kits lately, especially the little book nooks and room scenes from brands like rolife. I usually collect figures and display models, so I'm used to paying attention to things like materials, fit, and how something looks once it's been sitting on a shelf for a while.

Some of these miniature kits look amazing in photos, but I've never owned one, and it's hard to tell what they're actually like in person. I'm curious whether they feel sturdy once they're finished or if they're the kind of thing you really don't want to move around too much.

So those who collect these, what do you usually look for before buying a kit?

Does the quality of the wood and smaller pieces make a big difference, or is it mostly about how well everything fits together?

I'd like to build something I can keep on display for years, not just finish it and stick it in a box.

I really dig these releases. For the price point the value is great. They are able to stand on their own. Biggest complaint, they really need double elbows. They include the ramen cup but they can’t get it up near their mouth. Kind of defeats the purpose of including the face plate where they are eating ramen. Also Mira and Zoey have their excited face but Rumi has a crying face? Basically I’m asking for four face plates. All three get a crying face and excited face. And the most glaring omission…microphones! They’re demon hunters but also K-pop Idols. Overall solid release not without some nitpicking. That’s what collectors do though right?

Was surprised by the box Venom came in. This Lara is very nice. But I think ill do some mods and try to source a pair of red shades for her.

Found a Knightfall Catwoman. Had Harley Quinn arrive last week. Also had Batfleck and Mr. Freeze arrive. Freeze is nice and its amazing how much the metallic paint elevates him.
