Some grandma in her 70s ?? Back up into a shopping cart grabbing groceries and the insurance total the car
But when I wanted to buy the car some guy pulled the transmission from the yard
And I got the title of the car and everything but I can't find a transmission for it
I saw you can put a ka24de transmission and swap the bell housing but there all beat up with no information if the transmission works most of them are asking 900$ for a a unknown condition one

Anyone from 240Sx community got recommendations what others transmission could fit without spending to much on a adapter kit

Hello, those with ABS fitted 180sx or 240sx - have you ever managed to swap your abs diff for an alternative like skyline abs diff and actually having the abs still work?

So I am replacing the carpet in my 95 S14 and the factory carpet has plastic pieces stapled to the sides that hook onto the door frame to hold it in place. My new carpet does not have that, and I need to replace it. My issue is, I do not know what sort of stapler can handle that.

A staple gun doesn't have the anvil behind it to place behind the staple, and an office stapler won't fit over the the lift in the plastic, or is positionable in a way to work (nor is it strong enough I would imagine).

Is there a specific type of stapler, or a tool to use to to do this job? My google searching has come up with nothing, but perhaps I'm using the wrong terms.

I’m replacing the fuel injectors on my KA 24DE. No matter how hard I try to press the injectors in they won’t seat. Just curious if it’s something I’m missing or if anyone has experienced this before.

I see GKtech has a poly option but from what I read solid bushing isn’t really a con for the steering shaft and improves the steering feel. I have poly for my rack bushings already if that changes anything.

Curious what the biggest headaches are. Is it finding the right part number, finding anyone who has it, shipping costs, waiting forever, something else?

Are there specific parts for specific vehicles that are always a pain? Tires, trim, suspension, body stuff, whatever. For kei owners, where are you getting tires and what size are you running?

As the title says I need brackets for a new headunit in my s13 last owner took the oem ones with him sadly and I don't want to play out the nose for a brand new stainless steal set. Does anyone have any recs or even a 3d printable set?

I'm redoing my fuel lines and noticed that a black wire that goes to a pin terminal is broken. Idk if it's been like that or broken when I was messing around in there. It doesn't look like it goes into anywhere inside the fuel tank, so is this like a chassis ground or something? And does it need to be repaired

Would prefer not to drill into the firewall if possible. Is there a free grommet in the S14 that folks use to run their power wires from the battery (stock location - or remote mount the opposite direction) to the cabin? Need to run a fuel pump wire and a small amp for my door speakers. Curious where everyone is pushing it through?

I’ve checked Vaccum leaks, new fpr, new maf is on the way, blow off valve is shut completely to eliminate issues there for now(supposedly enthalpy tuned for it, should I readjust it?) spark plugs been changed a lot 6 heat stock boost. I replaced my scg-1 with their updated version with a Bosch 4.9 o2 sensor. Both my boost solenoids leaked out of the housings so I routed to the wastegate for stock boost.
I’m sure I’ve done more I’m not thinking of but does anyone have any ideas

13.7-14 afr idle, give gas it hunts for 14.7ish and then falls after finding it.

Lean in boost 12.8, I’ve seen 13.8 but I believe the solenoid leaking cause the lean spike.

Compression is good 150-155 across all 4.

Vibration is ALOT I assumed it’s because the Megan racing mounts.

Fuel pump has good ground (possible failing check valve? I lose rail pressure faster than I think it should)
