For my birthday party I decided I was gonna do weezer themed. I did a mix between the blue album and the gold album and can’t forget my dog that dressed up as raditude. I feel like I did pretty good for last minute.

Another underrated masterpiece i wanted to talk about. No idea how I thought this song was forgettable when I first heard make believe, but i started relistening to it and realised that its amazing.

I love the poppy 80s vibe this song has, it doesn't sound like something weezer usually does so while it doesnt instantly make you think of weezer I still like it because they were trying new stuff, and I respect that. That instrumental fucking bangs, and those synths that are also in there just match the vibe perfectly its so good.

In conclusion this song is amazing, it's a great song to listen to on a random rainy day. I love it so much, second best off make believe behind perfect situation.

i keep being told, completely unprompted and by different people, "weezer is NOT a rap band" and i'm so confused, is this a fandom in-joke i'm missing? i've never said anything about weezer's genre

I was so excited when Tired of Sex and Falling for You were included in the setlists for the first two shows of this tour but it didn’t take long for them to be completely abandoned for the remainder of the tour. I was watching a Weezer iceberg video on YouTube and around the 10:50 mark while the creator is talking about Weezer's members previous bands a photo of Pat Wilson holding a copy of Mandrake Linux appears. Given the fact I use Linux and it's one of my autistic interests this piqued my curiosity so I attempted to reverse image search it using several reverse image searchers and no results appeared.

Judging by what I can find online the box is most likely Mandrake Linux 8.1 as that box is identical to the one in the photo so that dates the photo around 2001. I decided to check Weezerpedia and found this interview from April 2000 where the interviewer asks Pat what he would be if he wasn't a musician and he responds "A loser probably. I don't know. I would probably be trying to figure out Linux networks and computer bull shit." so this makes me wonder if he has had any previous interest of Linux and this interview is the possible origin of this photo.

As far as I can tell now there isn't much documentation about this photo so if anyone knows more I'd love to hear it.

I know I can get from Ticketmaster, seat geek, stub hub and I most likely will.
