I have been suicidal for a long time. I remember the thought of it being the only thing I could think about even back when I was 14. It was like an endless river of thoughts all about ending it and its ramifications.

Over the years it did get better, sometimes got worse. Over time it became some kind of a philosophical shelter. I don’t believe in any afterlife. For me suicide was an escape, a blissful end if things got too rough.

But after watching Kairo, it dawned upon me. What if it doesn’t get any better? What if death is just eternal loneliness too? Eternal suffering? Honestly I don’t think about suicide anymore. Because there are no gurantees.

1A student here, got my assignment grade back for one of my courses and to my surprise I got a 57.5%, despite the feedback being full of “great job!”

I compared my assignment with my friend and it was very similar, one difference was that his was a bit longer than mine. He got a 92.5%

Thanks in advance I have midterm this Friday and my motivation to study just went downhill.

I got 52.2% in CS145 Midterm 1.

I feel like I didn't fully understand trees and structure accessors and these are the parts that left me with such a score.

Should I bring a recovery plan on these aspects, or should I simply drop to CS135? I asked a few past students and I got different suggestions.

Any advice is appreciated. I would like to hear a few of them before I discuss my options with the lecturer.

Im struggling in cs135, my diagnostic quiz was around a failing grade. For most of the assignments I would use AI if I got stuck and just move on with it. I realized this hurt me so much and I couldnt properly solve code. Im worried im too behind now and I dont want to drop to cs115 because im in cs. Is there anyway I could catch up? Is my IQ just too low to solve these problems. If anyone has any tips please share I know I have to avoid AI.
