I was wondering which prof is considered to have the best notes for math 137?

How was it guys ?

I’m currently taking MATH 135, MATH 137, and CS 116, and I’m wondering how realistic it is to finish with a 90+ in all three courses. For anyone who’s taken these courses, how difficult is it to get a 90 or above? Is it actually achievable with consistent studying, or is it pretty rare? I’d also love to know which of the three is the hardest to get a 90 in, and whether the finals tend to be significantly harder than the assignments and midterms. Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

my prof doesnt explain shit the course notes dont reflect the difficulty of the exams AT ALL. past year papers are so much more tougher than the fuckass sample exam they give i dont know how to study properly ive been studying my ass off finished the course notes and exercises, don't know what to do. i dont think im going to fail but i studied so much (not consistently but dont have thaaaaat much time to do this)

I apologize for posting a second time today, but I was just wondering if there are any G&A students who have some insight on what it’s like to be enrolled in the program having moved away from home. I’m 18 at the moment and living in Ottawa, and the idea of leaving my family and friends to do this program is a lot, but tolerable, but reading about it online, I’m seeing that you only get reading week and Christmas break. Is that really the case? How do students who aren’t based in Waterloo visit family? What does that lifestyle look like? Thanks in advance guys.

Hey all. I'm starting at Waterloo in September, and I had a CFI tell me that having a car was an absolute must for the program. She mentioned being able to fly in between classes was important, and that public transit just wouldn't cut it. Financially, I am not in a place where I can afford that. I'm on a gap year at the moment and I leave for traveling in March and come back late June, in time to get settled and move in to res. That leaves me roughly 4 months to pick up more shifts or work a second job in order to raise the funds, and having done the math it is looking possible, but obviously if it isn't necessary, I don't want to do allat. Any present or former Aviation and Geography students have thoughts on this? Is saving up for a car worth it? Is carpooling a big thing here? Thanks.
