Rome II anyone notice pathfinding is broken since last update ?
in almost every battle units take these wild routes that they have never done before. its entirely nonsensical.

Warhammer III The Nagash End Game is really cool, but it only lasts 1 turn. The first 20 turns just feel like a mid-game crisis event
It's really cool that he starts to randomly destroy provinces, but that only lasts for the single turn that you teleport to the final battle. What's the point of waiting for him to destroy the world if you can just stop him the moment the ritual starts?
The first 20 turns... I get that you need to weaken him and all that, but it's not crazy difficult, nor does it feel like an existential threat the way the Archaon crisis does. They just spam a few powerful armies... exactly like a mid-game crisis event. When the REAL threat starts, you just need to teleport. It's a tough battle, yes, but once you beat it, it's over.
You never felt the whole thing as a true End Times crisis.
Also the diplomatic bonuses during the first 20 turns feel very out of place because literally almost no AI faction is struggling against them xd. Quite the opposite, they are beating their asses.
I just wish the real crisis started earlier.
What do you think?

Warhammer III Nagash doesn’t have a campaign completion achievement
Surely this was overlooked? Currently Nagash is the only faction with no steam achievements to unlock. As someone that likes to collect the campaign completion achievements this was pretty disappointing.

Warhammer III 1316 bug reports were added after End times release
Universe Hub - Total War: WARHAMMER
Meanwhile Toad dragon is still bugged, so underperforms against infantry units for which has eating animation, for example forsaken.
I wonder if Glotkin also has the same bug with eating thru arm animation.
Josh should record video with bug fixing team (guy with multiple personality disorder, working in shift as tester).
Edit for people who suck at math:
Since release of the dlc, 94 pages of bugs were added and there are 14 bugs per page.
Content of BRACKETS (...) is meant for the word or phrase before them. So "guy with multiple personality disorder, working in shift as tester" is meant for the BUG FIXING TEAM, and joke is there is ONLY ONE PERSON WORKING THERE, and is OVERWORKED because also works as tester, so forgets to report.
The team is UNDERSTAFFED, so NEEDS REINFORCEMENTS.
Josh is recording videos with teams. If content of brackets was for him it would be after his name, like here - Josh (guy with multiple personality disorder, working in shift as tester) should record video with bug fixing team.
See the difference!

Warhammer III Vermintide final battle as the Empire
People who've finished it, what was your army comp? I'm doing a Karl Franz campaign for the first time in years to see all the new toys the empire got since WH1, and holy hell I don't see how I'm supposed to clear this. I've tried a few different ideas and a mixture of steamtanks, landships, and rocket batteries did alright until Moulder with all their unbreakable monsters turned up. I managed to blast through most of Pestilens whilst dealing very very slowly with Moulder, but had nothing left for Eshin and got swarmed. And that was wave, what, 5 of 13? I legitimately don't know what my options are here.
The chaos crisis was great. I did it as the Ice Court and had a blast and cleared the final battle with a very reasonable army, but I'm completely stuck here and close to giving up. I was looking forward to trying Nagash's crisis after this but this one has completely sapped my enthusiasm to play the game at all. Any advice would be appreciated!

Shogun II Can you recommend me some mods to have a TRUE Shogun 2 complete experience?
I think the only silver lining to this whole Shogun 2 Complete Edition debacle is that it rekindled my nostalgia for the game. What mods would you recommend for the best possible Shogun 2 experience without straying too far from the vanilla version?

Warhammer III No income from Oak of Ages as Be'Lakor?
I've razed and captured the Oak of Ages as Belakor and built a Dark Fortress and I'm not getting any income. Also, I'm still getting attrition in Athel Loren. Anyway to get rid of this?

Three Kingdoms Recommended different feeling Three Kingdoms faction after Liu Bei as a first campaign?
No DLC. Was thinking about Dong Zhuo or one of the Bandits, but I can be convinced otherwise. Would start after another Medieval II campaign or two.

Warhammer III So can we all agree that Nagash's favorite Mortarch is secretly Luthor Harkon? (Not for any reason. I just think it'd be funny)

Saga A little fun fact about FoTS.
the in game battle victory track for FoTS is slightly different from the official soundtrack one. it has the hurrah sound in the background.
there was a time that they cared about such small detail.

Shogun II Fear no darkness!
Feels good to shitpost again after the Shadow's of Change DLC. I'm the OP of this post. So when the Shogun 2 Complete AI slop happenned, I knew I had to do a "part 2" with the charge of the Rohirrim, for in my mind, this is finally fantasy and history fans coming together to fight the endless greed of CA. We deserve to receive the product that we paid for with good standards and no anti consumer practices.

Medieval II I think Medieval 2 is overrated.
It has always struck me was weird that there is a large portion of the fanbase that view Medieval 2 as best total war game. It is fun to play but for me most of that is down to it mostly being a reskin of Rome 1. Things it does bring to the table are for the most part tend not to be very good. Horse models are fused to their riders, units feel more sluggish to control and the art direction in general doesn't feel as strong. On the campaign side of things the new agents mostly feel like fluff and the new papal mechanic fundamentally clash with the way Rome plays. Ceasefires/crusades are much more reasonable in games were wars are more temporary (for example Crusader Kings) or if you were able to do diplomacy without the use of an agents and enemies were more willing to accept pace agreements. While there are definitely somethings you can prefer about the combat model in med 2 vs the newer games, I think since they started to shifting away from matched combat animations the difference if how they play is less than people make out. Depending on their tolerance for smaller maps I think a lot of what people liked about med 2 can be found in stuff like Pharaoh. On the campaign side of things I personally think you can find more complex and interesting experiences in games like 3K, Pharaoh/Troy and even in some of the more complex Warhammer campaigns. For me the only thing it does better than the other games in the franchise is being a platform for mods but that was more a function of the time it released.

Warhammer III Crashing to desktop, constantly
I have finally gotten around to playing total war - warhammer 3, and have found it is completely unplayable and beyond frustrating.
Campaign 1 - turn 8 crashes to desktop when it gets to ai turns, different numbers each time butbusually in the 80-120 range. Ok reload from 2 turns ago, still happening.
Campaign 2 - turn 4, try go into a land battle, crash.
Auto resolve instead and then end turn crash.
Have verified all the files, not using any mods, have tried deleting the app cache (bye bye saves), Drivers are upto date.
Specs:
Rtx 4090
64gb ram
I9
Running off ssd

Rome II What do you think about new rome 2 Pantheon update?
My opinion, they ruined the game, why pretorians should have the same hp as some hastats?
They ruined charge cavalry one of the most interesting unit types in the game, why cataphracts can be stopped with some eastern spearmen
they made archers too strong, why archers can kill even some elite Sparta hoplites that have 110+ armor
