Solved [TOMT] An upbeat song about like walking down the street, knocking on a door, and then like kissing the girl. But he has some knickname or gibberish like shaboopi, but its not family guy. Its like a monsters inc bonus feature or something.

I remember monsters inc for some reason though it may not be connected.

An upbeat song like a love song where the guy is like excited to walk down the street, shadoodala shadoodala, walking up to ypur door, gibberish nickname, knocking on your door, gibberish, and then I kiss you some more.

I can't remember it and all search engines have lost contextual searching and I'm missing something integral to find it. Please help. I don't remember much except liking it as a child/pre teen. It could be bad or whatever. I'm 31 now, so it was certainly a while ago.

Solved [TOMT] “[something something] at aaaaaaaaaallllllll!”

This one’s really bugging me. It’s a modern (past 10-15 years) pop rock song where a guy is singing really quickly in the lead up to the crescendo, where he just sings “aaattt aaaaaallllllllll”. His band mates are harmonizing with him as he sings this.

It’s either like ‘anything at aaaaaaaaaaaallllllll” or ‘don’t feel me at aaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllll’

Open. [TOMT] Superhero franchise generic guy side character?

So, I have the image of this character in my head that I am having a difficult time remembering the exact character/actor and it is killing me lol. I believe they are a side character in a superhero movie, playing a similar narrative role as like… Jimmy Woo in Wandavision where he’s kind of like the main character’s minder/relation to the government agency. This would be probably more recent than mid 2010s?
This character is definitely white in his like 30s-40s with a longer dark brown combover type hairstyle (where it’s kind of un-gelled and swept across the forehead rather than standing upright a-la Chris Evans). He has straight hair, not curly. In the picture in my head he’s kind of staring exasperatedly at the hero character like “do you understand the shit I put up with for you” type of expression. In trying to describe him to my fiancé I described him as ‘what if Zemo (from the MCU) had a bit longer, ungelled hair, was clean shaven, and looked a bit less like an evil character, like his name was “Mark” or “Adam” or “Justin”. This character definitely would have a name, because I know he has lines, I just don’t remember them. So he’s not like random bus driver #5. And this is not a main hero character, please do not say like… Paul Rudd.
And this is def not a major actor ‘cameo’ like Jude Law in Captain Marvel, I would recognize that.
Characters/actors friends have suggested I have ruled out:
-Martin Freeman in Black Panther
-David Tennant in Jessica Jones
-Alden Ehrenreich in Ironheart
-Owen Wilson in Loki
-Josh Segarra in She-Hulk
-Ethan McDowell in Ms Marvel
-Toby Leonard Moore** **in Daredevil
-Reid Scott in Venom
-Adam Scott in Madame Webb
-Kit Harrington in Eternals
-Tyler Hayward in WandaVision
-James D’Arcy in Agent Carter
-Chad Michael Murray in Agent Carter
-Jeremy Jordan in Supergirl
-Enver Gjokaj in Agents of SHIELD
-Brett Dalton in Agents of SHIELD
-Ty Burrell in the Incredible Hulk
-Jack Quaid in the Boys

Open [TOMT] Looking for a short animated work I can't find any information on.

Here is my best description of what I remember. This might sound like an insane rambling but it stuck with me. I watched it earlier this year.
It starts off a bit silly with a kid introducing his dog and talking about random things, eventually the dog runs off and the kid goes looking for it, he runs into a wolf standing on top of a hill, the wolf being old imparts some wisdom on the kid and he moves on. The the kid runs into "The Greatest Thief in the World" and asks if she has robbed his house, she says "if you live on this street I have." They both see the dog and watch it enter a strange house the master thief doesn't recognize. As she wonders where it came from the kid follows after the dog and she follows along wanting him to be safe. Once she enters the house, the tone changes to an eerie atmosphere and she meets a Creator type being, who begins monologuing. She asks what happened to the kid and he reveals he has turned him into a cup, spinning a mug around to show his face distorted on it. Then the Creator type seemingly strips away the thief's pride and desire to be a thief, what she thinks made her special, and leaves her feeling empty, letting her back into the real world.

Open. [TOMT][MUSIC] A song that includes a sample from The Last Man on Earth: "I don't deny there's some strange evolutionary process going on, but mankind won't be destroyed."

I just finished watching The Last Man on Earth with my partner and when it came to the scene with that line - "I don't deny there's some strange evolutionary process going on, but mankind won't be destroyed. The fact that you and I are working here today is evidence of that." - I was struck with the memory of that line being sampled in a song I have listened to a bunch in the past. I just cannot remember the song for the life of me.

I thought maybe Strapping Young Lad (or maybe Devin Townsend's solo work?) or Bloodbath (the song Wretched Human Mirror samples I Am Legend) or Rob Zombie but I can't seem to pin it down. I swear it was a rock or metal song, maybe electronic or even a lofi track. All I know for sure is that it is not the usual suggestions of [Grieves - Man Down] or [D-Sturb and High Voltage - Universe]

Please help, this is going to drive me nuts.

EDIT: Solved! The song is LICK x NO ETIQUETTE - MANKIND

Open. [TOMT] [Song from my aunt's childhood] [1965-1980]

We think it's a children's song, but as I sing it, it kinda sounds like it could be an old choral song similar in style as "little April shower" from Bambi. She remembers it as saying "Willa Willa will, I've got a penny, Willa Willa will to buy a-", but she can't remember what it's to buy. I've considered the nonsense words could be "Lua Lua Lu" or "la la la la la" instead. Vocaroo recording of me singing it: https://voca.ro/1lfeDZg32aMb

I've searched pretty extensively and so has she.

Ruled out

"my mom gave me a penny"

"playground in my mind"

Weile weile waile (Irish song)

A penny on Disney cassette Collection of Silly Songs from 1988

Open [TOMT] Old screamer video of a little girl

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to find an old screamer video I watched as a kid.

It shows a little girl being filmed by someone, I think her father. She seems like she doesn’t want to be recorded, but he keeps filming anyway. Eventually she sits down on a spinning office chair, turns to look at the camera, and her face changes into the classic early-2000s screamer face with dark, hollow eyes and a gaping mouth.

My uncle showed it to me sometime between 2005 and 2009. I was very young at the time. It was the first screamer video I’d ever seen, and it scared me so badly that I had nightmares for days and kept feeling like the girl was always standing right behind me.

It’s somewhat similar to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIGxKY5y6Mg

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Open. [TOMT] Creepypasta about bones found on a farm, a ghost, and a wife with an autoimmune disease

A while ago on YouTube i listened to a reading of a Creepypasta that i cant remember the title of but remember the plot of. It went like this.

A farmer is home with his wife (who has lupus? Or some similar reason shes bedbound for the story) and his son and his daughter. He goes to plow and finds bones. Due to some laws relating to the handling of possibly native American bones he doesnt want to turn them in as it would be to much trouble. So he keeps them in a coffee can in his barn. After this he starts seeing a ghost who has a really smooth face as if the features were ground away. Its revealed the ghost is of a boy who died a long time ago in an attack by natives on the farm. During a haunting the farmers daughter is dragged some distance before shes saved and the farmer returns the bones to a graveyard with his family.

I dont remember who narrated the story or how it was titled, tried googling it and looking through my video history was no help. Not looking for any specific video but rather the story itself. I say Creepypasta but its probable it was also a nosleep story or similar.

Open. [TOMT][YOUTUBE] Satire video of Console and Game Companies Shooting themselves in the face

• Upvotes

I remember watching a youtube short a few months ago of someone mocking many game companies where it started with the youtuber holding up a toy shotgun pointed at themselves, the logo of a company pasted over their face, and saying "Hey [competitor], take this" and then playing a shooting sound effect.

The entirety of the video is several companies responding in outrage and acting as if they are going to shoot the other one, but just shooting themselves each time, with a flash of a headline for what they did that was stupid briefly appearing before the youtube mimes dropping dead.

The companies involved, that I can remember, were Nintendo, Sony, Xbox, and Epic. At the end, Valve walks in and is the only one with positive news and doesn't shoot themselves.

I thought it was Senpai Gabe who had done the video, but I went through the shorts listed on his channel and didn't see it. I believe the news for Sony was about dropping digital games, which I believe was announced back in July, so it shouldn't be older than July 2026.

Open. [TOMT] 2000s/2010s (?) Scary Film

I watched it when I was a kid (born 2006 for context) but I’m not sure when it came out. All I remember is the film ending with two girls, one a young girl around 10 (I think) and one older (her sister (?)). They’re leaving this house that had someone (or something paranormal) attacking them for the entirety of the film. After they leave, it ends with the man they “killed” coming back and his eye looking through a hole in the wall. I don’t remember if he was living in the walls or if they left him in the basement etc.

I know it’s not a lot to go off of, but this film has been tormenting me for years. My parents remember it, but can’t remember the name. It’s driving me crazy.

Solved [TOMT] [Youtube Series] [2010] Walkthrough of Pokemon Black and White where Zebra almost dies

I remember watching this specific walkthrough of Pokémon Black/White over the summer of 2010 before I had gotten the game (and before it released in the U.S?). The YouTuber was about as popular as LightDarkNeutral at the time.

The walkthrough itself was a high quality screen capture for the time (probably an emulator) with the guy doing microphone commentary, and he actually incorporated a lot of story into his walkthrough, like, he would give each of his individual Pokemon their own personal backstory. I particularly remember how he had a Zebstrika that he named (Zane?) or something like that, starting with a Z. Zane had the most tragic backstory of them all, and I think he came close to death during one of the caves, but luckily he was revived by the YouTuber. I think he also stated that you have to feed your Pokémon with Lemonades and Waters because it’s healthier for them than potions. I know this is a long shot but I’m hoping someone recognizes these obscure details. Even just identifying the YouTuber himself would be awesome

Open [TOMT][MOVIE][2010-2020s] Horror Movie Where Kids Turn Evil; Babysitter Gets Chased onto Roof

I remember seeing part of it or a trailer, but can't remember the name. A teenage girl wakes up and can't find her sibling so she goes looking for them. She goes to the neighbor and finds a little girl coloring, but the girl doesn't respond until the teenager touches her shoulder. The little girl screams, the teenager runs back and finds the mom dead/unconscious. The teenager then runs up-stairs and locks herself in a room while the girl tries to break in. The teenager then climbs to the roof where a group of other children try to get her with rakes/hoes/etc. She then calls her boyfriend(?) who is smoking on a park bench and doesn't believe her.

Then the trailer/short ended and I can not remember the name.

Open [TOMT] [SHOW] [2010s] minimally animated netflix show based on a podcast similar to Nightvale

Back in I think 2018 I watched a show on netflix, that I believe to be a netflix original and cannot remember the name of it.
I remember the description of it mentioning it was based on a podcast. The art style was very simple, it wasn't super animated, it was similar to Welcome to Night Vale with the main character being a radio host and strange things happening around town, the only plot points I remember are mosquito vampires and there being like... an eldrich god underneath the radio tower.

Solved [TOMT] a big rectangular stone creature that moves my rotating its arms

Basically, a biggg stone rectangular creature, with two rectangular arms on each sides that uses them to lift itself up and walk. Genuinely been impossible to focus on anything since i started thinking about it. I made a drawing of what it looks like to explain it better (image in my comment). I have no idea if it's from a game, a video or anything else, but i just know i've seen it, and i haven't been able to find anything close to it

Solved [TOMT] [Toys] [1990s] Wooden + Felt “paper dolls”.

Can anyone help me track down a toy I used to have, or help me narrow down what to search for? I used to have dress up dolls (like paper dolls) - the figurines were made of thick wood (they could stand on their own) and the clothes were made of felt. I can’t find a picture of them anywhere, let alone a listing for them.

Open [TOMT][PC GAME][2000s] Game about raising a little green dinosaur or dragon from an egg

I remember playing a game when I was younger, maybe 9ish years old which would be 2006 but my perception of time is pretty shitty lol. I remember I used to desperately search the internet all the time for any games about animals, whether being an animal or centered around animals. This game I remember was kind of a point and click style, where you could navigate around different scenes. Kind of like one of those disney animated story books but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that. I remember the main focus of the game being raising the little creature which I think was a dinosaur or maybe a dragon from an egg and feeding it and stuff. I also feel like I vaguely remember a HUD with stats about your pet on the left side or on the bottom. I also remember one scene being like a volcanic kind of area with some kind of chasm or jagged rocks. Don't know if this will be enough to track it down but any help is appreciated.

Solved [TOMT] 2000’s obscure manga about vampire girl & regular guy protagonist

Not action/adventure like shounen, but also not romance like a shoujo. Maybe closer to horror, but not scary, so more like a drama.

None of the popular ones like:
- Vampire Princess Miyu
- Vampire Knight
- Vampire Hunter D
- Hellsing
- Blood+

The biggest clue is going to be the vampire girl’s appearance:
- Two moles/beauty marks in a vertical line under the outside corner of one eye (I will try to attach a photo I edited as a reply for visual reference)
- Long, straight black hair with bangs (no ponytail or anything like that)
- White yukata/kimono-like garb (maybe barefoot? and she may have worn a school uniform at some point, but I could be getting confused by the thousands of other female characters with long black hair that wear uniforms)

The protagonist guy was taller than her and had shaggy short-ish black hair. He also has a mole under the corner of one eye, but only 1 mole (possibly the vampire girl’s brother, I don’t remember).

I really thought Google would find it quickly, it was sold at Borders in the US back in like 2002 or something like that. I can’t remember if it was TokyoPop or not, but it was definitely translated from the original Japanese (so, not manhwa or western).

There were at least 2 volumes, but probably more than that.

Help!! I’ve been wanting to find this series again for ages.

Solved [TOMT][MOVIE][earlier then 2010, older then 1980] ridiculous grenade launcher death

EDIT: SOLVED! the movie is apparently its Hot Shots Part Deux

I remember watching this specific scene as a kid (mid 2000s) and being completely horrified by it, it retrospect it was probably ridiculous. A gunfight scene, I want to say jungle setting but not sure, a gunfight against a bunch of goons, one of the good guys hit a direct hit at bad guy with what i believe was a 40mm grenade launcher (could be wrong), and the guy gets spread on the wall behind him like a human liquid/ slime whatever you want to call it

Solved [TOMT] [movie] [early 2000s] about fairy girls that may have been stop-motion felt animation?

So around 2013-2015 I watched this thing that may have been a movie or an episode of a show. I had it on a DVD. I don't know when it was made but I assume not much earlier than that, sometime in the early 2000s. It had a girl and another character, maybe another girl or a boy, who was younger. It may have been hand-drawn animation, but I also feel like it was stop-motion felt animation? The people were small, maybe fairies or similar, and I remember they ate blueberries that were the size roughly of their heads. I can't remember much as I was young when I saw it but the one scene I remember is that the main girl was hanging laundry on a clothesline outside her cottage by a stream, and then the other character (her little brother?) ate blueberries (I think) and stained the linens with juice. The main girl then had to use a scrubbie sponge to get the juice out in the stream. The aesthetic was very bright and cute.

EDIT: WE HAVE AN ANSWER YALL!! Thank you everybody but especially Alarming_Teacher4576! It is Fifi and The Flowertots! Blueberry Surprise episode to be exact.

Solved [TOMT][Youtuber] Looking for a Cartoon Retrospective Channel. The youtubers avatar was a drawn head.

Gained a lot of popularity during the "nostalgia" craze a few years ago. But last I remember his videos were barely getting over 100k views. I'm genuinely surprised I'm having issues finding his channel since I remember his videos consistently hitting the 100k+ view count. Did video essays mostly on cartoons from the early to later 2000s. His avatar was a head with a toque/beanie.

For a few years he would do one of those "count down to Christmas" by releasing a video a day.

Solved [TOMT] [2010s?] [YOUTUBER] Looking for an old animated commentary youtuber

Hi all,

Currently trying to find this youtuber I used to watch around 2018-2020. Their mascot was an anthropomorphic alligator/crocodile.

They were a male and I believe they were American. Their content wasn't really animations but their sprite was animated and would talk in line with what they were commentating about.

They would make deep dive videos discussing different topics, I don't exactly remember what ones though. They were in the same vein as Just A Robot, Izzzyzzz etc

I've found a bunch of other posts asking for them and yet nobody has given a name yet. I'm not sure if these means they weren't actually as popular as I thought?

I would say they definitely had a following though, over 10k.

Thank you

Open. [TOMT] [SONG] Heard this song at a beauty store, can't find it anywhere

I heard this song recently at Sephora, it went like "Can i take you for... (something, i dont remember if the singer said "can i take your picture, or take you for something), and the next line was " it feels like you can't resist meeeee.... (or it "seems" like you can't resist meeeee) (it had that elongated last word "can't resist meeeeee" tone to it, but was poppy) maybe i am butchering it in my head, but it felt like a 2000s song, upbeat, singer was female soft voice?

It was catchy and have been stuck in my head, just curious now to know what song is this even!

Open. [TOMT] [Movie] possible Western (I think) stranger chases some one through the wilderness / desert

• Upvotes

Randomly watched a movie on TV one day, don’t remember any of the actors (or I would have found it) - the movie follows this guy who is for some reason going through the wilderness / desert, I remember the plot being something like he meets a stranger while making a fire for the night, and he seems friendly to begin with but, then the main character starts to realise there’s something off, he leaves and goes on the run and then the rest of the movie is the stranger essentially tracking him through the desert wanting to kill him (can’t remember why)

I think I watched this movie around 10 years ago, it was probably made in that same kind of period maybe slightly earlier.

I really don’t have much more information to provide, always wanted to watch it again but can’t remember and have attempted to google but, to no avail.

Solved [TOMT][SONG] Kids theme song, very famous. something "and now Im singing this song." "...and keep moving on."

Its like a summer camp song or something? Parodied in other media.

Something like "finally together now were singing this song"

I wanna say its a kids song, maybe sung at the end of a movie or show.

Please help driving me crazy.

*No none of these yet. Thanks though.

The reason the song pops in my head is because the song "Alone Now" by Tiffany. The lyircs "there doesn't seem to be anyone around" (replace those words with "finally together and were singin this song") sounds exactly like it. The tempo is similar (songs sound nothing alike), but its more of a campy 70s summer camp song or something.

Its might be like "finally together and were singing this song." Like an "ending" theme.

SOLVED: Partridge Family theme song haha
