Gaming jitter idk what's at fault

I've had my pc for around 2 years with no major problems but recently I had issues with apex legends crashing, I seemed to fix the issue but then noticed it had really high jitter a few days later I also tested it out on deadlock and the same issues with jitter and consistent net jitter of around 100-300, however when I tested overwatch it seemed to work completely fine and browsing the interent and watching YouTube works like normal. I have deleted and reinstalled drivers cleaned out my pc repeated my ram gpu etc but no changes.

Looking for the best outdoor home surveillance options for "low-tech" friends

Hey all, please delete with apologies if this is not within the scope of the sub.

I petsit/housesit for a nice older couple that lives in a huge old Victorian townhouse in the middle of my nearest city. They are the nicest people, but I worry about the security of their home and yard. They have a double lot filled with trees, exotic plants, man-made ponds with koi fish, and an inground pool that has been given to the local ducks and aquatic plant life. It's all very enticing for neighborhood children who have very few options to experience nature living downtown. This couple has nothing against the kids in their community and completely understand why they're drawn to the yard, but they're worried about the liability of the open bodies of water and various tools and things they have stored in the outbuildings. They're also not thrilled with the air filters being pulled out of the pond, flowers being picked, etc. I'd like to help them by setting up a video security system in their yard, but they aren't the most tech-savvy people in the world. I'm looking for the most user friendly system to operate and and monitor. I'm assuming I'll also need to use a wifi extender to get the signal into the backyard. They just have a plan from T-Mobile with one of their boxes.I'm not an IT wizard, but I can follow a recipe and am confident enough to be able to follow directions and get things running for them. If anyone has any specific set ups or brands they can recommend as far as both cameras systems and wifi extenders go, I'd really appreciate it.

What should I do??

Ok so I play codm on my mobile and after like 1 to 2 hr of gaming my phone turns really hot or due to lag(poor internet)

It causes my device to basically crash like it starts lagging real bad or the screen turns off and it basically becomes slow for a few minutes

To the point it's not even opening and when I try to use my fingerprint.I can hear the voice of it opening but it just either

-showcases black screen (but lighted)

-my wallpaper with no option like it's picture

It is usually resolved in a few minutes but is it harmful for my device??

Any advice??

Help with my planned Lenovo AIO + second monitor setup for occasional laptop use — would an Anker or Baseus USB-C hub work?

Hi everyone,
I’m planning a new desk setup and would appreciate some advice on the best way to connect everything. I want to use my desktop setup normally, but also allow my partner to connect her laptop occasionally without having to unplug lots of cables.
My planned setup:
All-in-one PC: Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 55a 24 Gen 6 (AMD Ryzen 7 250, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD)
Second monitor: Lenovo ThinkVision T24-40 (23.8”, 1920 × 1080)
Keyboard and mouse: Logitech MX Keys Combo for Business Gen 2
Laptop: My partner’s laptop, which will be connected only occasionally
Dock/hub: I’m considering a USB-C hub from Anker or Baseus, preferably one that can handle both monitors and the shared peripherals. I also looked at the Lenovo USB-C Dual Display Travel Dock.
The Lenovo AIO has HDMI-in and HDMI-out, and the additional monitor has HDMI-in and HDMI-out.

What I’d like to achieve:
Setup 1 — Normal use:
I use the Lenovo AIO as my main computer, with the ThinkVision monitor as a second display. The keyboard and mouse are connected to the AIO and work normally.

Setup 2 — My partner occasionally uses her laptop:
Ideally, she connects her laptop to a hub with a single cable and can use both the AIO’s screen and the ThinkVision monitor as extended displays, along with the same keyboard and mouse.
Her laptop may have USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, or it may only have HDMI output.
I would prefer an Anker or Baseus hub rather than a proprietary solution if possible. I’m also happy to consider a KVM switch or a combination of devices if that is the better option.

My questions:
Is this setup technically possible without constantly switching cables?
Can I use the AIO’s HDMI-in to display the laptop’s output while also using the ThinkVision as a second, extended display?
Would an Anker or Baseus USB-C hub be sufficient, or would I need a KVM switch as well?
What would be the simplest and most reliable way to switch between the two computers?
I’d appreciate recommendations for specific hubs, docks or KVM switches, ideally from people who have a similar setup.
Thanks in advance!

Looking for a Current Mid-low tier tablet for business markups (Advice)

I'm about to start a business that heavily relies on the ability to make markups of different maps to explain to customers further about their properties. I haven't looked into a tablet since the iPad 2 was a thing, and I'm not quite sure what all is current, and worth it.

Will probably end up buying used off of eBay.

Help Pick a laptop w me

Disclaimer (only non-apple products)

I'm very multihobbied and a student and I need a laptop that is the following:

-suitable for graphics and design

-for gaming & computing in general

-would run old&moded games

-studying with sources, tabs, apps, files that might crash some old stuff ig (aka my current laptop)

-maybe a couple of side works, organisation.

-⚠️⚠️to be a long-term investment because my broke self cannot afford this again for a long time.

And after years of suffering with what is allegedly a laptop my fraud of a "laptop" I'm finally prepared (with no more than a 1100 sterling pounds bcz I'm a broke student and this is the fruit of my labour.

I heard about the ASUS V16,ASUS TUF Gaming A15 too but don't have enough experience to compare properly because they don't sound that far different.

Also if possible where is best to buy them (UK,England)

Friend is having issues, told him I'd help out by asking here.

I desperately need help with my PC 🙏 All my games suddenly started freezing and stuttering, and now I keep getting blue screens with the error KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR, to the point where I can barely get into Windows.

I’ve spent the last two nights trying to fix this after work, and I can’t play anything or do much at all. Nothing I try works, and honestly, it’s really getting me down.

It’s not a GPU or graphics driver issue. If anyone knows how to troubleshoot this or knows someone who can help and give advice, I’d really appreciate it ❤️

I think I got scammed with a dead SD Card. Can I recover my files still?

So I recently bought this sd card from ebay a week or so ago and I just put it in my samsung tab s9 fe. I started putting in my files and everything seemed to be going pretty good so far until I get a notification saying that my sd card was switched to read only. Ive never seen that before so I immediately got worried and go check my files app and I get the message that one of my files was too big so I assumed maybe it just can't take bigger files or something but after that I got the read only file system error message. After that I searched up what read only meant and everything I've seen says that the card is probably dead and it got sent into read only so I can recover my files before its completely fucked. But when I try to send my files back into my device it showed that I only had 17gb of data going back when there was at least 39gb of data that actually got in there before that file is too large message I got. But when I look back into the sd card its showing that a lot of my folders are now empty even tho the sd card is showing me that it has 39gb in it. I thought maybe if I transfered the empty folders back into my device it would fix itself but it didn't and it just said failure to DELETE?????. Matter of fact the 17gb of files that I successfully transfered back are still permanently on the sd card despite me actually moving them back. So seeing this I looked up if anyone else has been scammed like this on tik tok and found this guy's video and the name of the seller he bought his from looks like the same person that POSSIBLY(im sure as fuck they did but yknow maybe I did something) scammed me. The name is way too similar for it to be a coinky-dink. So yeah its probs the same person. I wish I looked at the seller's negative reviews before because yeah its clear they have a history but given the price I really didnt think it would be a scam but I dont really know tech stuff that well so yeah. I wanted to know if there was a way to get my files back since its clear that they're there SOMEWHERE. Also wanted to share this because I just couldn't believe that I got scammed outta 50 dollars bruh😭. Thank you in advance and sorry for how incoherent some of this may be I'm tired asf from work and I'm losing blood.

Help!

So, I have been trying for a while to pass some images from my old Samsung S5 to my HP laptop, and I have the USB-Micro USB cord, and it works fine, the thing is, it only charges up the phone. I watched some tutorials that explained that a notification should come up, and let me change my USB preference, but when I plug in the phone into my laptop, nothing happens, except from charging itself up. Does somebody know what could I do? All help is appreciated.
