I'm an IT student and I've been building a study app for myself, and the part I keep going back and forth on is what should happen right after new files show up on Moodle.

My own routine is pretty bad. I download it, it sits in my downloads folder as "Week7_final(2).pdf", and I open it once, the night before.

One thing that has helped: as soon as a new file goes up, I turn the slide titles into 3 or 4 questions in my notes app. Takes 5 minutes and at least I know what's in it before the quiz.

What do you do? Make cards right away, rewrite notes, or wait for exam week? And does anything you use tell you when a new file goes up?

Preparing for the upcoming IBPS RRB Clerk & PO exams and looking for a study partner to stay motivated, share resources, and study together.

If you're preparing for any other competitive exam, that's absolutely fine too! Anyone interested in studying together and keeping each other accountable is welcome. 😊

Hey everyone,

If you're trying to optimize your revision, struggling to stick to a timetable, or just trying to figure out study methods that actually make information stick, it can be really tough doing it all on your own.

I run The Resit Room—originally built for gap year and resit A-Level students, it has grown into the biggest Discord study community in the country. It's the perfect place to build better study habits, stay accountable, and get advice from people grinding through the exact same subjects.

Here is what we focus on:

• 🧠 Study Methods & Strategies: We have dedicated channels to share active recall techniques (blurting, spaced repetition, Anki decks) and figure out the most efficient ways to tackle heavy content.
• 🎙️ 24/7 Study VCs: Jump into our virtual library sessions for "body doubling." If you lack discipline, turning on your camera (or just your screen share) in a muted room of other students is the ultimate way to beat procrastination.
• ⏱️ Yeolpumta (YPT) & Accountability: Track your daily study hours, join our group Pomodoro sessions, and compete on our server leaderboards to stay motivated.
• 📂 Resource Sharing: Swap revision notes, templates, and essay plans to save time making them from scratch.

Whether you need a new revision strategy, study templates, or just a massive group of people to keep you accountable every day, we’d love to have you.

hey everyone!! :)

following situation: i’m a biology student and i would like to submit my notes and the lecture slides somewhere in order for it to be turned not only into flashcards but also into like exams, tests and quizzes.
basically i would love an interactive way to study the exact contents form my lectures :)

i don’t really ever use ai but i think (especially when looking at others who have so much experience with ai) it might be really beneficial for me to start using it. i’ll admit that i do feel really old-fashioned in that hindsight.

sooo now i’m trying to figure out what to do.
the free chatgpt model itself is pretty limited when it comes to media, so are claude and basically any other basic ai.

my question is: do any of you know any free ai study tools that you’d reccomend?
and if not: should just buy chatgpt plus and then use that (plus then get access to astra and i could use it for anything else) or should i buy a subscription for a specific model designed to be a study tool.

thank you so much for reading this and maybe replying !!
