Ok so I watched a beginner tips video just to see if there was anything I was going to majorly mess up. Few hours later I was scrolling YouTube shorts and a satisfactory video came up. It was about manifolds. I watched it, never would have came up with an idea like that, I implemented it and things started looking good.

So why has it ruined things?

I am now obsessed with efficiency to the point I can't advance the game till everything is as efficient as can be. Everything has to work in the correct ratios etc. I've only just built the space elevator.

Anyway. I will press on and try and achieve my next small goal of unlocking coal power and see where that takes me.

I build this City as a Megafactory. This ist the First Time I touched this Game and there ist Tons I would do in other ways but I'm still kinda proud of how this City Looks. Thats... well... until I See Others building Factories so much bette. In both efficency and design. Do you have any Tips how to improve and Most of all how many Items I need to produce(currently in Stage 4)?

Hello everyone, I’m looking for experienced players (preferably on EST) to collaborate with on my world to make 50 or more ballistic warp drives per minute.

I would like to learn new techniques to be creative with building. I am very particular with efficiency and functional design, but all of my factories are on giant slabs of floating foundation. I’ve been told my builds look like circuit boards, which I think is a pretty apt comparison.

So far, I’m partly finished with setting up the 700GW of power needed for it, but I’ll need to build 40 more power plants, finish automating uranium rods (I’m probably ~8-10 hours away from finishing it), and start automating waste to plutonium.

For the main project, I’ve gathered all of the iron ore needed (~16k/min) and transported it from the desert to the red forest, but that’s it.

With all that said, if you know your stuff and want to find someone as dedicated to crazy automation goals as you are, please reach out.

I love this creature

I built a rail blueprint, it's 2x4 1m foundations, with rails along them. When I am trying to route them out in the world, they don't snap together, and while it looks like they connect, they aren't powered. I end up having to build three of them, then delete the first two and "re-connect" the rails together. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not a thing the game will let me do?

Hey only been playing for a month or two. Built a turbo fuel plant and im having some issues with getting everything working.

Im inputting 2550 crude oil and im looking to make 1000 turbo fuel for power, 150 packaged turbo fuel, 100 packaged fuel, 180 rubber and 180 plastic(from the fuel byproducts). This is my second attempt at building this factory in the same world/location and both times the fuel refineries would back up with fuel, causing the production to stop and polymer resin to stop flowing as intended affecting the amount of rubber and plastic being made. Everything else is being produced as intended and all fuel generators are running no problem.

Ideally id like to have someone join my world and help me trouble shoot or tell me what im doing wrong although I think that might be allot to ask😅

I have played some satisfactory and have comebacks from a long break and I have alway wondered what is the best setup like a big highway(I have tried with the stacking of belts in liken foundation but I wonder how its possible to make clean lines strait and pretty. Thanks if anyone respond with some secret knowledge for a casual pioneer

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. It would be really awesome to have a hybrid of a skateboard and a hoverboard that could ride the edge of a conveyor belt (or power line, train track..) like the Zipline but upside down, and it would need to be auto balancing. It would also make the quarter ramps more useful. Hoverboard feature could allow for use on any terrain. Could be a lot of fun. Anyone else ever ponder this idea? Anything to add?

So, I posted a while ago asking for help with a piping issue for my plastic factory. And I’m proud to say after 350 hours my first play through is complete. I’ve even bought the golden nut statue.

As a final project I decided to build a small scale Nuclear plant, as that was the only aspect of this game I hadn’t touched. And my god is it complicated. I completed the game with my rocket fuel complex, which is by far my biggest single factory in the game, and that I am entirely too proud of. I’m sure there are places I could nitpick design choices, or actually build buildings instead of floating tiles, but meh.

I’m not usually one to play these sort of games, I’ve been a big supporter of the destiny franchise since I was in middle school, so games like that. Looter shooters, and fast paced action games. I had been watching YouTube videos of people playing this game to fall asleep to, as I thought it was not only impressive, but boring. I watched mainly kibits play through, and I had started watching him at the beginning of his most recent nuclear plant. I found the more I watched the bigger the itch became to play something like this, and finally I saw the game had been released on Xbox. I had bet that I could beat it, so I set out to do just that and it has been an amazing experience, except for pipes. I still hate pipes.

Today I want to show you one of the earliest buildings of my world, where I began to experiment with signs. I made this Austrian gas station about two years ago and its only purpose is to refuel the trucks in this area.

This district is still largely unfinished and my building skills have developed since, but it's always cool to see this gas station and I want to keep it just as it is.

Last screenshot shows how i used to experiment with unicode symbols back then to make signs.
Nowadays i use  u/_nova_tech_'s Satisfactory Symbol DB for creating signs.

I just picked the game up agsin after a few months of a break and somethinf hss chsnged - when I walk a TON of debris & flying grass get generated around my chatacter. How do I turn this cloud of crap off so I can move without this obscuring my view?

Made a stator machine in the mark 1 blueprint maker, had to get very vertical and creative to make it all fit. I know I can improve on it, but honestly I'm really happy with how this thing turned out

It the constructors never reach 100% efficiency and idk why

this is my 2nd attempt at beating the game (only about 20 hours in, but my last play-through I was at like 40 and in the same place) I get this stuff all the time, and I was wondering what other wacky stuff you guys experience?
