Ask Richmond Scammed by a local crypto exchange, PLEASE HELP

I got scammed. Hibit Crypto just took my money and ghosted me.

My entire crypto portolio and majority of my savings are just gone. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

Yes I did do research, yes I saw the other guy on here that said he got scammed, didn't believe they'd be this blatant. I actually saw that they were a registered exchange so no way they'd do something this blatant.

They have weekly events and they were offering 1% match on fund transfers. There's hundreds of people at these presentations. JUST HOW??

120k gone. Called the cops they said i'm like the 20th person this happened to.

Already going through lawyers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The VQ35 is arguably one of the worst sounding engines ever, and then to go and give it a straight pipe is wild. A fart can Civic is nothing compared to what I just heard. Thanks for the laugh

Ask Richmond Advice on condo units by Capstan

With current prices we may actually be able to finally get a place of our own.

We are interested in the area and think we can get used to airplane noise, but wondering if there are buildings we should avoid?

We are looking at units around Union Square Shopping Centre (like in Sorrento).

Ask Richmond Toyota shop

My 2023 Highlander hybrid warranty has ended, and I’m looking for a dealership alternative.

Any recommendations for a good, trustworthy Toyota shop in Richmond?
Looking for a mechanic who really knows Toyotas inside and out, similar to The Car Care Nut. Someone knowledgeable, honest, and good with both regular maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repair.

Thanks!

Elections I have never seen so much fear mongering as I am seeing in this municipal election. I wish people would educate themselves on what is really going on with homelessness and drug addiction. Calling for a drug free city is preposterous and narrow minded. Its already here Richmond, vote for someone who

Ask Richmond Bed frame review - local business

Post image
0 Upvotes

I really need an honest opinion/ review for these bed frames. I found this local Richmond business from marketplace. Apparently they are about $350-$400ish for a bed with storage (comes with a warranty for one year for the frame itself and the lift mechanism is a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer), in comparison with major retailers, these go for $550 minimum. I was wondering if anyone has bought from this X business or someone similar and if they are worth buying or long lasting as I would want to keep it for at least 5 years.

News New Fortis BC Rebate is $4,000, for a New furnace and Heatpump. Up to $8,000 for those who qualify.

Thumbnail

Just wanted to share that FortisBC has introduced a $4,000 rebate for eligible homeowners looking to upgrade to a dual-fuel heating system (gas furnace + heat pump), with $8,000 available for income-qualified households.

With the rising cost of everything these days, it’s a great opportunity to save on the upfront cost of a new system, with the added benefit of potentially saving on monthly energy bills too.

I’m a bit of a local HVAC nerd, so if you’re considering an upgrade, I’d be happy to chat, answer any questions, and help you figure out whether a dual-fuel system and the rebate actually make sense for your home.

Feel free to message me here or on my cell!

Discussion Missing a place that no longer exist

Sorry. Just feeling nostalgic. Used to come here alot with a relative that passed away some time ago. Remember when you can order a chicken teri don for $7. The crew was great. Chinese owned but the sushi chef at the bar was Japanese had great memory of remembering customers names.

Went to sushi lovers on same area last night and it was ok. Just reminded me what this whole area used to look like. That great one supermarket next door was packed all the time.
