Discussion In Rdr1, if you have low honor you will get 50% discount in Thieves Landing (Because it’s a Outlaw Town) I wished Rockstar made that in Rdr2 if the player has low honor he will get 50% discount in Van horn (Because it’s Also Outlaw Town) but Sadly they did not.

Picture I just found out that you can get the mutilated horses from Murfree members.
I unlocked the campfire event where two members of the Murfree gang surprise you right in the middle of a campfire. Normally you let them go, but since I killed them right away, I was able to get their poor, mutilated horses.

Picture Found a Free Horse in my Replay.
Was hunting & filling out my map & found a saddled, abandoned Thoroughbred. Snatched it quick & ran straight to Valentine to stable.
Niche related topic but if anyone is familiar with Running Springs Ranch or KVS, I named her Alibi, after RS Ironclad Alibi aka Moose, who suddenly passed earlier this year. She kinda resembles him as he started shedding out, though he did not have stripes (grey coloring mostly).

Discussion What made Dutch trust Micah so much?
Seriously, I don't understand how Dutch could be more suspicious of Arthur and John than Micah, especially Dutch of all people. I know that calling Arthur and John his sons was part of his manipulation, but still, how could he trust Micah more than them?
I can somewhat understand John. He left the gang for a while, and he wasn't loyal to either his "wife" or his son. But even so, the problems didn't start when John came back. And there's nothing to say about Arthur. He practically made it rain for the gang his entire life, right up until he was nearly dying.
Micah was relatively new, nobody liked him, he provoked everyone, literally tried to hit on the only woman in the gang who was somewhat involved with someone, and he was racist on top of that. I think Bill and Javier suspecting Arthur and John had more to do with them being jealous of the two, especially since they weren't even close to Micah either.
Sometimes it feels like Dutch only trusted Micah because he was the only one who never said anything when Dutch made a bad decision. On a slightly different note, it's so annoying how every time Arthur so much as questions Dutch, Dutch says something like, "Have you lost faith in me?"

RDR1 ESSA MÚSICA ME ENCANTOU!
Eu genuinamente fui pego de surpresa com essa, o estilo de música de rdr1 é muito coeso entre si com o tema caubói, esse não, esse se diferencia dos outros.

Discussion tried playing slow but still feel like I'm going too fast
Maybe that's just because of how many hours I've been playing lately, I'm sitting at 52%/33% (total/story). I remember what's coming next (fine joys of tobacco/horse flesh for dinner) and don't want to progress because of that, at least for now. I've already completed some treasure hunts, rock carvings and a couple of legendary animals.
What can I do in the meantime to pass some time?

Spoiler Want to get 100% in my horse compendium but not lose my current horses - any tips/suggestions? Spoiler
I’m trying to complete my 100% save and have spent a few weeks putting together a massive guide for myself (I don’t have a stable internet connection, so I cannot rely on looking up things on YouTube, etc). I’m just now finishing typing up what I need for my compendium, and when it comes to horses, I realised I might’ve effed up a bit.
I have 16/19 horses in total that are 100% in the compendium. This doesn’t quite make sense as when I looked at the stats, I still have eight horses I need to get 100% progress on. But anyway, that’s not the issue… the issue is, I have my four horse stables full already, and I have a temporary horse as well that I keep at Beecher’s Hope.
I’m really not wanting to get rid of any of them. The first one is Jim’s horse, Rachel, that you get at the start of Epilogue and I love her. She’s currently stabled with the others:
- a red chestnut Arabian (pretty sure this one spawns again if you lose/kill yours)
- a leopard blanket Appaloosa (from other Reddit posts, this seems to be an uncommon coat, not rare)
- a splashed white American Paint (this one is rare, iirc, as you can only obtain it from random stranger camps)
The temporary horse is a dapple grey Thoroughbred, whose coat isn’t rare, just one I’ve not seen often (yes I realise this is the same breed as Rachel so I guess I could fence it). Currently Jim’s active horse is a wild bay Mustang. I know this one isn’t rare, I just never found one before in all my playthroughs until now.
The horses I still have to ride and reach 4 bonding with are:
- American Paint
- Andalusian
- Ardennes
- Dutch Warmblood
- Missouri Fox Trotter
- Nokota
- Turkoman
I know I can make a copy of my save file and just finish the compendium on that one but I’d either be reverting back to my non-100% save afterwards to not lose any horses I like, or sucking it up and getting rid of some that I’ll just have to track down later. I do spend quite a bit of time in Epilogue because I rather enjoy playing as Jim (haven’t yet touched RDR1, I keep missing the sale!) so I’m kind of attached to my horses 😂
I can’t be the only one like this, so what would you horse-loving folk do?
ETA: Sorry for the weird formatting/spacing. I typed this out on my tablet and it’s not very agreeable with the rich text editor. Also, as this has to do with Epilogue, I put a spoiler in and changed a name—not sure how much is considered a spoiler this long after the game’s release but I’d rather be safe than sorry.
ETA 2: I’m on the PS5, not PC btw. Forgot to say this.

Question How long do you play post epilogue?
After you’ve completed the main missions in the epilogue how long do you spend as John?
I just finished and I’m wondering is worth still playing, is there anything worth doing at the farm for a while longer?

Discussion Worth it to wait for steam sale for first game
Hey I was curious if I should do the subscription to play the first game or if the game goes on sale pretty often. I just beat the second game and now I wanna play the first for the full narrative
