So many fans that would’ve traveled to see their favorite band that loss the lottery yet people win and try to make money. Gross

One of my most favorite songs from HTTT
It evokes a sense of catastrophe, resignation, and despair and that funereal wail just completely sweeps me away. For me, it’s one of the most chilling and poignant songs the album itself is actually quite eerie

This is my first time watching this video!
While causally scrolling on YouTube, I saw it and decided to watch it!

I’ve listened to 2 Radiohead songs before this, Creep and Exit Music For A Film. Heard these were not super representative of the bands whole sound and was told in rainbows was one of if not their best records so I checked it out.
What a great project!
I’ll have to make a song by song review later, but my definite favourite songs were Bodysnatchers (absolute BELTER track, maybe my favorite), Weird Fishes (One of the best songs I’ve ever heard compositionally) and Jigsaw ( fuckin epic way to bring the album to the end)
Will note, I did get a little fatigued of the lullaby style run in Faust Arp - House of Cards but I would get if that’s someone’s favorite part of the album, very different.
I would prefer a recommendation that’s more akin to the tracks I loved to get a little more used to their sound before delving into anything else. I won’t listen to Ok Computer since I’ve heard it’s a “consensus” that this is the best Radiohead album and I’ve actually got the chance to do a Vinyl first listen in a few months.
Overall, 8.8/10, great stuff.

Thom's electronic influences are well-documented, but I rarely see Surgeon mentioned anywhere. For the unfamiliar, Surgeon is an absolute legend in the UK techno scene, and he contributed heavily to the creation of the Birmingham Sound.
I'm not sure if Thom was super into Surgeon at the time or anything, but Surgeon was at the peak of his powers in the mid-2000s. From the info I could find, it looks like Thom approached him to make the remix and liked what Surgeon made so much that it served as the catalyst for the whole remix album.
Moreover, it's just a banger. Anyone else have a soft spot for this remix?

I can't be the only one who thinks that "The Butcher" has an amazing drum intro which is catchy as hell but Is ruined by the depressing and unmatching rest of the song.
I wish the song was more a 2+2=5 or wolf at the door kinda anxious creepy but furious vibe. and not the melancholic song accompanied with this amazing best

Hi all,
I picked up a cd of Beck - Sea Change and holy smokes the string arrangements immediately bring me to A Moon Shaped Pool. Moody and unsettling. For starters try the song Round The Bend.

I noticed Radiohead has more monthly listeners on Spotify than other 90s giants like Green Day, Oasis, and Nirvana.
Despite being seen as a complex or
"inaccessible" band, their music is featured in so many TV shows and movies. Do you think they are actually more accessible than people think, or is this massive streaming number driven by movies, TV, and viral tracks?
"Even if it was caused by viral hits, those songs still have to be accessible in the first place for millions of people to listen to them."

I won on the 2nd round of the lottery. Eplus charged my AMEX credit card a few days ago but when I checked the app today, the charge was gone. Is this normal?
