I'm getting 10 more average fps in furmark2 on my 9070xt! Let's go boys!
Fine wine baby 😎
EDIT: I was on 26.8.1 before.
I'm 50 years young and some thing I really can't understands... Like... Guys who put their new GPU in a car and put a seatbelt over it. Maybe I'm too old.
Anyway...
Just installing drivers... Will see how it will turn!? 😇 Upgrade from 3080 and short period (about two weeks from GTX 970).

The tweet mentions "FSR Frame Generation gets more consistent frame pacing, for smoother gameplay" but it's not in change log or anywhere else. Does he mean they're working on it or is it in this update?
Wonder if you guys tried out some games after the update to test it out. I tried FG in Witcher 3 just now, don't see any improvements (I've hags off) and it feels the same to me (no frame pacing issues at least on this game).
Update:
Tried in Witcher 3. I see no difference before/after the update with HAGS on/off.
With HAGS off, I get pretty consistent frame times and everything seems normal. VRR stability is not bad as well. With HAGS on, FG is a mess and unplayable, monitor OSD shows refresh rate going all over the place.
That's exactly how it is even now after the update.
Not sure about other games though. Someone said they notice clear improvements in Cyberpunk.

I don't know what amd did with the latest drivers, but my god control resonant runs so much more smoother and looks better with frame gen on now, no artifacts at all.
9070 XT

I finally decided to pull the trigger on 9070XT. I was at work and waiting for the delivery all day and tracking USPS and it was supposed to be left in the dropbox where they leave the key in your mailbox. The delivery kept getting delayed and went past the time USPS normally delivers. I finally get a doorbell ring and I open up my Ring app and it’s my neighbor who I haven’t met yet (just moved to a new rental home 2 months ago). He said hey they put this in my mail dropbox and your address was written on it, so here you go.
Not only was I waiting for my graphics card but my 32 inch OLED was delivered that morning as well but just left wide open next to my door with regular box the monitor comes in, not even packaged in a discrete covered box (ordered from Walmart)
And he saw the 32 inch monitor but left both of the packages there for me. I drove home as fast as I could and brought it inside.
If he hadn’t been honest and brought the package to me, I honestly don’t know how I would’ve recovered it. Same goes for the monitor if it was stolen. My faith in humanity has been restored!
Now I just wait for my PSU to be delivered tomorrow and installation here we go!

Never done a benchmark before but loved the results I came from a rx6600 and luckily bought this one before the price started to go up.

Since updating to AMD drivers 26.10.1, I’ve noticed that games feel like they’re running at 60 FPS even when I’m getting 120–160 FPS with FreeSync Premium enabled.
I’ve seen people saying it might be caused by having both Windows VRR and AMD FreeSync enabled, but honestly, I’ve had both enabled for about a year and never had any issues.
The weird thing is that if I turn FreeSync off, the game instantly feels much smoother. I’ve also tried disabling Windows VRR while keeping FreeSync enabled, but that doesn’t change anything. It still feels like I’m getting way fewer FPS than I actually am.
Anyone else experiencing this after updating to 26.10.1? Any ideas on what could be causing it?

can someone explain to me like how good is ray regeneration for RX 9060 / RX 9070 / RX 9070 XT
does that mean ray tracing will not be heavy like before less heat?
does that mean more fps while using ray regeneration?
i don't fully understand it!?
does it mean lower end card like RX 9060 / RX 9060 XT / RX 9070 GR / RX 9070 get better fps on ray tracing with less heat?

Hi, I play on RX 6000 with new drivers, how do I check if game is correctly using new FSR or still falling back to FSR 2?

The performance boost on GOW E day is crazy, playing on a 9070 xt and the frame time is so much better, before I had to lock my fps to make it stable, now i don't have to, also getting like 10 more fps on average playing on native 1440p.

I was just testing some Vulkan "recomps" like Bloodborne and used FSR 3.1, and it looks way better to me, I just don't see the typical shimering anymore. I don't have any PC games that use Vulkan and support 3.1, so can't fully confirm if this is just a emulator\recomp thing?

Here is a screenshot from Uncharted 1 decomp, 1440p quality with FSR 3.1 selected.

Here is Bloodborne running 1440p FSR 3.1 at performance setting. When moving the shimering is very minimal on the grass and fences, which is more like what I see in FSR 4.1 performance setting, where as FSR 3.1 at performance is suppose to be borderline unusable at this setting.
