Do not ask for promo codes. Do not complain about the lack of promo codes. Complaining/asking for codes is not going to make more magically appear. Beginning July 2023, this will now result in a permanent ban. More likely than not, you were never contributing codes to the community to begin with.

Don't downvote someone just because a code doesn't work for you. Some codes are targeted or region-specific. Others may have expired before you tried it.

"Why does it say there are X comments but I don't see any?" The comment was probably removed by a mod or automoderator because it was a top level comment that was NOT a promo code. In the past, there were numerous complaints about having to scroll through hundreds of comments containing complaints and requests for code before seeing an actual code.

Postmates driver was sketching me out

Long sorry short, I ordered Postmates from a place that’s 8-10 minutes away. My driver seemed to be outside the restaurant for a LONG time, and then once they were on their way to me it said they had a couple other stops which is fine, but once they were def driving to me, they were going SOOOO slow and took the longest possible route, and circled my house a few times. I finally messaged “everything okay?” Then he did one final circle around and delivered the food.

Why?!?!?!?? Is there a reason for this? Does this drive up their pay from Postmates?

Lousy people and lousy situations

Today, I received an order through the Skip platform—a "buy one, get one" deal. The customer ordered sweet and sour chicken with stir-fried noodles, then called to ask if the regular noodles could be swapped for Shanghai-style noodles, with no vegetables included. I prepared the order exactly as requested and handed it off to the delivery driver. That’s when the trouble started: a jerk on the other end of the line began hurling abuse, warning us not to suggest he contact the platform for a refund—and telling us not to involve the police either—followed by a barrage of vile profanity. Eventually, he showed up at the shop with the food, demanding a refund. The proper procedure is to request a refund through the platform, not by coming into the store. I opened the containers and saw that nothing had been touched; the guy was clearly just looking for trouble. My guess is that he used a platform-issued coupon to place the order, then came to the shop to demand a cash refund—effectively pocketing real money. What rotten luck to run into someone like this.

Corporate Email Contact at UberEats/Postmates

I’m trying to reach someone at Uber Eats/Postmates corporate because an order was marked delivered but never arrived, there was no delivery photo, and support refused to refund me. I disputed the charge immediately through my bank, and Uber has since restricted my account and is requiring me to repay the disputed amount in order to use it again. I’ve already emailed corporate contacts with screenshots and documentation and followed up, but no one has responded. If anyone has a legitimate corporate/customer-relations email for Uber Eats or Postmates, I’d really appreciate it. They will not let me delete the account and open a new one. I am stuck and need it for work purposes or else I’d boycott and never use them again since they lie and steal from their own customers.

Delivery times and multiple stops

Whats going on with Uber/Postmates in Los Angeles? Every delivery is delayed now and arrives 30-45minutes later than estimated. Are there just less drivers because they treat their employees horrible? And is there a better app? Delivery is a luxury and it doesn’t seem like a special treat anymore to splurge on

Discussion How do I stay away from these types of drivers?

I live in a major city (Orlando, FL) and sometimes I know traffic is too horrendous for me to leave the house so I Postmate. Recently I had an experience where a guy accepted the order, sat a half hour, cancelled, and then when I reordered (with a better tip than I already put), the same guy accepts it again, then cancelled. I reordered a third time and the SAME GUY accepts, and immediately cancelled so I took an Uber through the drive through and got my food that way. He's not like a mile down the road or something, he's SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT. I asked why he kept accepting the order and then canceling, but he never responded.

Is there a way that I can deter these kind of drivers, or is it it is how it is?

Is there a way to opt out of bike deliveries?

The past three orders I've made have gone to bike couriers which wouldn't have a problem except for the fact that the delivery time gets extended by 30 minutes when it goes to a person on a bike. I am traveling for work right now and have a fast-paced job that sometimes requires me to have quick meals before I go to sets. If I'm counting on something being delivered (often ordering in advance and scheduling time to eat before I leave) and then the ETA gets bumped by 30 minutes after it's finished being prepared, I can't cancel but I also can't eat it, and have in some cases had to leave before it arrives.

The problem is really more so around the estimated delivery time. If the ETA when I'm ordering was accurate, it wouldn't be a problem, but Postmates automatically shows you delivery time based on car.

My food also arrives cold more often than not, and then I'm also forcing this person to bike for like an hour across town just to bring me some food??? I feel bad!

Is there something I'm missing? Can I opt out of bike deliveries?

Discussion Drivers: how often do you deliver to the same address?

As a pretty frequent Postmates/Uber Eats user in LA, I’ve always wondered how often the same driver ends up delivering to me more than once.

Do you regularly recognize repeat customers or addresses? And in a huge city like LA, is it actually pretty rare, or do you tend to work the same neighborhoods enough that it happens fairly often?

Also curious whether you remember certain houses/apartments because they tip well, have weird delivery instructions, are a pain to access, etc.

Thanks for delivering my food to me

Discussion I was not refunded item amount

My courier didn't deliver the coke I ordered. It was $4.20. Postmates says they don't do refunds on this item, but they added $2 to my account. So stupid. Probably in the Terms and Conditions somewhere but still that's very lame.

Order cancelled after pick up

My wife and I ordered a pretty pricely meal and were pretty excited about it. My wife kept an eye on the progress of the meal i.e. prep, pick-up, etc. She tracked the driver who pick up our food turn around then cancel our order in almost live time. I tried to report the driver on the app but couldn't and nor did the AI bot help us with the situation. Clearly the driver stole our food. How do we go about reporting about the theft?

Why can't I leave a review for my "Top-Rated Courier"?

I ordered an expensive pizza, to have it delivered to the wrong complex, sitting outside for almost 25 minutes, to find a few ants in the box. At the very least, it wasn't stolen, but I'm definitely unhappy about paying $34 for an 8-slice pizza, to find it cold, etc.

I complained and Uber/Postmates just refunded my tip money back. They are ignoring my request for at LEAST a PARTIAL refund for my pizza, and they are ignoring my question of why I can't leave a review for my driver?

If they are a "top-rated courier", surely, I would be able to RATE my delivery driver, right?

No one can take accountability? Is this normal protocol for Uber/PM customer service?

The photo the driver took shows the wrong address as well. They can't get anymore less competent than that. Not very hard to match addresses.

Postmates, Ubereats, Doordash rant.

I know i’m not the only person that is just beyond disgusted by the stupid, money hungry bitches that work for these companies. WHY TF are prices going up and food quality/delivery quality is going down. WHY THE FUCK am i adding promos and my price is 2-3 dollars down instead of $10 or 50% off like the fucking promo says. WHY do i pay for a fucking $10 membership for this STUPID FUCKING COMPANY to still charge me random fees that add my bill up to 2-3 less than it would normally be. WHY TF is my order almost ALWAYS WRONG. WHYYYY can I never get in contact with ANYBODY from their support team. WHY do I have to leave comments under their social media to get a response from them and WHYYYY are they giving dashers DOUBLE orders that result in me getting cold nasty food and NO REFUNDS.

Discussion What is with all the fake locations?

I was looking for the local pizza shop whose actual name on the building is Alessandro's Pizza but I noticed that in the list on the app there are several other resturants listed BEFORE the actual resturant that have the EXACT SAME ADDRESS.

Why are "Festival's Pastas", "Pizza and Panini", "Amazing Vegan Pizza", "Italian Romanos Pizza", "NY Crust Pizzeria", "Angelino's Burgers/Pizza" all listed, making SEVEN resturants total but only one real resturant?

Ordered pickup but restaurant was closed, and now Postmates won’t refund my order

I tried the customer service chat but got caught in an AI chatbot circle that wouldn’t help me at all. Then I called the customer service line and they said they couldn’t do anything if I didn’t have a picture of the restaurant being closed. How was I supposed to know to take a picture? I had already left and got dinner somewhere else. The first customer service agent hung up on me, and I was able to get the second agent to escalate my issue to their supervisor but said it would take 48 hours for me to get a response. Why is this so difficult now? I am done with Postmates.

Unhappiness The real cost of convenience: Comparing 4 delivery apps vs. ordering direct... 😟

The cheapest was almost $70. This might be a lot of money for you in relation to the cost. All items match as close as I could. I used every discount that was best for each site.

$75 buck order turns into $111+ after fees??? Haven't been to Pizza Hut for over 4 years because of really bad customer service but nostalgia... so I decided to check it out. Haven't used the delivery services in months, but I had to compare. Guess I'll continue to go without Pizza Hut in store or for delivery. Bye bye

That's way out of my price orbit right now.

New Food Delivery Scam

Beware, now if you use a food delivery service and tip the driver, they can get your tip and not actually deliver the food.

All they have to do is accept your order take a picture in front of your house and receive the tip.

You can’t get the tip back from those services. Uber/Postmates for sure tells you it can only be added as a credit to your account. Which why would you want to use that service again??

Either food delivery places need to change their processes or it will be a dip in sales for them.

Bottom line: Start picking up your own orders, tip smaller amounts (at your own risk), or take the risk you won’t get your food or a refund.

Uber/Postmates is fine with you taking the loss. They believe they have too many customers to worry about it.
