My 9R developed a green line issue. I thought the display just randomly died. No problem, the device was more than five and half years old, and it's worked very well all these years, a problem can develop anytime.
Brief googling told me this is a hardware issue from oneplus' end, and they offer lifetime screen replacements for free if a user faces this. But then I saw a reddit post claiming this is only valid till 5 years from the date of purchase, which saddened me. I was going to get the display replaced from a third party shop, but thought I might as well try my luck at oneplus.
Incredibly, they just asked me to backup my phone data. Absolutely no other questions! My phone's back was cracked, which I also thought would lead to a claim rejection. But nope! They took my phone, asked me to wait a quarter of an hour, replaced the screen and complimentarily cleaned the debris from the charging port as well! Didn't ask for a penny!!
I had to confirm multiple times if I had to pay anything. For a minute I thought I walked into some scam repair shop and they just stole parts or something. But I got an official OTP from oneplus to close the request, and was politely handed over the device.
It's rare that a company is so consumer friendly nowadays. I was going to get a pixel for my next phone, but this kinda service really inspires brand loyalty. Mad appreciation to oneplus for acknowledging and taking responsibility for the issue.

I know this is a long shot. I acquired a Verizon variant of the OnePlus 8. I have thought bout rooting it an running a custom ROM. Thing is that some people from other forums say it's not possible and others say there is a way. The ones that got it to work really don't mention how but ones that do say you have to convert the us version to global before being able to flash a ROM but others are mixed saying it doesn't work. I'm not sure what to make of it all. What are your suggestions?

Hey everyone, I've got a notification problem I haven't been able to fix and wanted to see if anyone has run into it.
Device: OnePlus Nord CE5, OxygenOS 16.0.5.1300 Global
Issue: Instagram and Reddit notifications no longer appear on the phone. All other apps notify normally. The strange part is that my smartwatch, which is connected to the phone, still gets Instagram and Reddit notifications in real time. So the notifications are being generated, but the phone isn't showing them.
History: This worked before. I didn't change anything obvious that I remember, and it stopped at some point.
If you've seen this on OxygenOS 16 or with a smartwatch connected, I'd really appreciate any fix, workaround, or setting I might have missed.
Thanks in advance!

Make sure your PC has ADB (android debug bridge) installed. Connect your phone to your PC and make sure it can see it properly (run adb devices in your terminal). You might need to accept the connection on your phone.
Disable the feed completely:
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type 0
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type_left_enable 0
Replace with OnePlus's own shelf:
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type 1
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type_left_enable 1
Restore defaults (bring back Google feed):
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type 2
adb shell settings put secure assistant_screen_type_left_enable 1
Note: You MUST reboot your phone for these changes to apply, you can either do adb reboot with the phone still connected or do it manually from the phone.

Since this week update NFC is not usable anymore on my Nord 2T (v14.0.0.3101), is this a known issue and possibly more wide spread or am i just unlucky?

Everything's been great so far. The Chinese version is working without any issues here in Egypt and hopefully will keep on working perfectly.

Apologies to all who wasted their time reading about my issues with my 14.... I have a 13.
Issues that I wrote about are accurate, Bluetooth not being steady, outbound text messages sitting on hold for 5-10 minutes, android auto not reliability working on multiple vehicles.
Anyone experience this?
Thanks, and again my apologies.

Hey OnePlus Community,
After installing the latest Android 16 update on my OnePlus 11R, the update that introduced the O Dialer, I’ve been experiencing several issues.
Camera lag: The camera app feels laggy and doesn't seem as smooth as it was before.
YouTube issues: YouTube has been acting weird since the update.
Network buffering: I'm experiencing buffering and network-related issues on both YouTube and Instagram, even when my internet connection seems fine.
I want to know whether other OnePlus 11R users are experiencing the same issues after this update or if it's just happening on my device.
Questions:
Are you also facing these issues after updating to Android 16?
Is there any working solution or workaround?
Would clearing app cache, resetting network settings, or performing a factory reset help?
Is OnePlus aware of these issues, and can we expect a fix in a future OTA update?
Please share your experiences and any solutions that have worked for you. Hopefully, this can help other OnePlus 11R users facing the same problems.
Thanks!

Its so smooth, and apart from the battery and stylo being a bit expensive, I have no other complaints.
Loved the streaming and gaming experience. The speakers are LOUD.

I would like to recap on my OnePlus ✨ (& Phone) history.
2014 - Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
2017 - Samsung J5 (2016)
2018 - OnePlus 3T
2021 - OnePlus Nord 2 5G
2025 - OnePlus 9 5G
2025 - OnePlus 9 Pro 5G
2026 - OnePlus 13
2027 - Oppo Find X8 Ultra
When the OnePlus 3 Launched in mid 2016 I remembered it to be the first phone I really wanted to have. So I spent two summers working till I could afford to buy one in early 2018. And it was absolutely amazing. Coming from a budget 2016 Samsung to this was a completely different world. My OP 3T treated me very well and made me fall in love with this brand.
Then in 2021 the 9 Series's dropped with the Hasselblad collaboration. I couldn't afford them at the time so i got myself the Nord 2 5G instead. And it treated me even better. Many memories were made with that phone.
In 2025 I went and finally got myself a used 9 & 9 Pro to finally get a glimpse of the Hasselblad Color Magic.
Well and in December 2025 by chance i found a OnePlus 13 with a broken screen for really cheap on marketplace. That has been my main phone now this year.
I now decided it's time to move on. To try and venture out trying something completely new... ok no I bought an Oppo Phone for 2027 😂.
All in all it has been a nice 8 years with the OnePlus brand.
All phones worked flawlessly and captured many important moments in my life. And i am thankful for that.
Farewell OnePlus ♥️.

Good day all. After a honeymoon period of about 18 months, my 14 is starting to act a bit wonky. Wondering if others have experienced this, and what was done if anything to try to remedy it.
Specifically, Bluetooth has been very unsteady. Phone calls won't always come in through AA, sometimes taking 10 minutes to switch from the phone speaker to the car audio, podcast via Spotify in AA suddenly pause, the phone just seems like it either needs to be completely reset or that there's simply something wrong.
Finally, my text messages (I'm in the USA on Verizon) are often not immediately going out, often taking several minutes to send.
Anyone have any sort of similar experience?
I do regularly clear out the cache.
Thanks.

My last two phones have been OnePlus 7t and 11.
Got a Nord 4 to replace but I don't like the way it feels in my hands.
The Nord 4 feels too chunky I prefer the smooth curved edges of the 7T and 11.
What phones are similar?

Im just about to go to sleep and i realized that Ive just charged my oneplus 9 pro for the last time just now. Ive had it since release, best phone Ive ever had. Its still fast and 100% usable but battery is so bad, and i got a amazing deal for a new phone. Unfortunately not a Oneplus since they're leaving Europe.

I bought a Chinese ROM OnePlus 15 (but Pre-loaded OxygenOS) in Germany, and I'm using both my Indian & German SIMs and using it basically as an Indian phone. All the Indian, German banks and, payment apps are working flawlessly.
Now, given how the phone will soon get the ColorOS 17 update; should I upgrade to it, or will there be some irreversible issues?

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a OnePlus15 and I went to a third party phone repair shop to repair my front screen and after I received my phone back it was working in everything but the finger print sensor. The wake to rise wasn't showing the finger print icon. I followed some instructions online and deleted my fingerprints and tried to re add them and it only just tells me that to take my time when trying again and. I have too many failed attempts when I haven't even attempted once. It just flashes as if I was trying and even when I do try it doesn't seem to detect my finger. In the US too if that helps.

Hi. I just bought this phone 4 days ago in Bangladesh and I tried following xda guide to unlock. but the deeptesting app showed a warning about abnormal sign in detected. I then tried creating 4 or 5 heytap account, but same issues. I also tried selecting heytap account region to china. One thing to note is that I cannot bind a Bangladeshi phone number to any of those heytap accounts. so frustrated and I installed 1 software update hoping the issue resolves in colos 16.0.10 but same here. I then tried with a latest deeptesting app from oneplus community of version bcf3709 and still getting this. please checkout the images. anyone can please please please help me unlocking this phone?

I have two months since I sensed an OnePlus watch 3 on warranty, and I didn't got any device back or money back... I'm sending emails to OnePlus and they just tell me ( 5 times in a raw) that they will send a new watch. But when ? 😅

I don't know how niche this issue is, but I'm not able to get my USB audio interface to work with my OnePlus Pad 4.
It works without a hitch with my Phone (S25 Ultra) and my previous tablet (Mi Pad 6), but with OOS, I'm not even able to get a single LED to light up on connection.
Interface: Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen.
